Rescue Me (Sidney Crosby)

Chapter Thirty Four

-Julie-

Vero, Allie and I finally got home from grocery shopping and Vero honked the horn and Marc and Tyler walked out to help carry the bags in.

"Where are Sidney and Josh?" I asked when I didn't see them come out.

"Um, last time I saw them, they were on the back porch," Marc said and I grabbed some bags and walked into the house and over towards the kitchen.

I placed the bags on the floor in the kitchen and then walked over towards the door, that lead out to the back deck. I walked outside and looked around and then looked down to see that Sidney was on the ground leaning against the house with Josh and Sasha on his lap, and they were all sleeping. I quickly grabbed my phone and backed up so that I could get a good picture of them. Vero saw me in the doorway and walked outside and looked to see where I was looking.

"Awww, that's so cute," she said and then Marc walked out and had to walk back inside because he was laughing to loudly.

I smiled and then stood next to Sidney and bent down, I placed my hand on his shoulder and then kissed his cheek. His eyes fluttered opened and he looked at me and smiled, "Hey."

"Hey yourself," I said and then looked down towards my sleeping son, "Comfy?"

He laughed and then looked up towards me, "Actually yeah."

I smiled and then picked up the puppy and handed her to Vero and then stuck my hands under Josh's arms, and picked up the heavy boy, groaning as I do so, "Wow, you really are getting heavy."

Sidney laughed and then stood up and held out his hands to take Josh, "I got this, can you just get the doors?"

"Sure," he said as he looked back at the little seven year old how hung over my shoulder.

I walked into the house and up the stairs, and Vero showed me where his room was. I walked into the room and placed him in his bed and then watched as Vero placed Sasha in her cage, leaving the door opened.

-Sidney-

Everyone sat around the table and were getting ready to eat dinner. Marc and I had grilled some hamburgers, while Tyler did some hotdogs for the Conner and Josh. Vero made a salad and Allie and Julie made some kind of girlie alcoholic drink.

After dinner, Vero and Marc had taken us down this trail by the lake and we saw a campfire pit. I smirked and then wrapped my arms around Julie's waist and placed my chin on her shoulder.

"Smile!" I looked over and saw that Allie had a camera and took a picture of us, "Nice!"

We all sat around the campfire while Marc and Tyler got the fire started. I laughed when Tyler tripped while bringing some wood back and dropped everything.

"S'mores anyone?" Vero asked while walking over with some chocolate, crackers and marshmallows.

"What are s'mores?" Josh asked and Marc looked up from working on the fire shocked.

"How could you deprive this boy of s'mores?!" Marc yelled and I felt Julie flinch under me and I glared at him, "Shit! Sorry Julie."

Julie nodded her head and then bent down to look at her son, "S'mores are really good, sweetie. Mommy ate them all the time when I was growing up."

"Really?" he asked and she nodded her head.

"Yup, and they have chocolate in them," she said and I laughed when his face lit up at the sound of chocolate.

It was getting dark out and Marc had the fire going, Vero was getting the sticks ready that we were going to use for the s'mores. Josh and Conner were running around us and I smiled when the puppy tried to keep up with them. I sat on the blanket that was on the ground and leaned against the tree behind me. Julie sat in-between my legs and leaned against my leg that I had folded up. It was getting pretty cold, and I had taken off my jacket and gave it to Julie, because I noticed that she was shivering, and I had a hoodie on underneath it.

We were having a good time around the fire and Josh and Conner were enjoying their s'mores. Julie was leaning against my chest and had her head on my shoulder. She had turned her body and was cuddling against me and I had my arm wrapped around her waist.

-Julie-

I woke up the next morning finding that I was in a nice warm bed and with strong arms wrapped around me. I turned around and saw that Sidney was sleeping on his side and I smiled and placed my hand on his cheek and moved it into his hair. His eyes fluttered opened and he smiled towards me.

"Morning."

"Good morning," I said and then leaned forward and pressed my lips against his.

"I like being woken up like that," he said and I laughed and then sat up, "No come back."

"I have to make sure that Josh is up," I said and he whined and I laughed, "You're too cute."

"I'm adorable."

"I know," I said and then leaned back down and pressed my lips onto his. I laughed when he grabbed my side and pulled me on top of him and rested his hands on my thighs. I pulled away and looked at him confused.

"What?" he asked.

"I don't remember coming to bed last night."

"I carried you back, you fell asleep," he said and then I looked down and saw that I was in an oversize t-shirt, most likely his, but I had no pants on, I was only in my underwear, "Yeah that, I -uh-"

I pressed my lips against his and ran my hand up his chest and onto his neck. I smirked and then moved my lips to his neck and started to nip at him, hearing a deep groan come from his mouth sent shivers down my spine. I gently danced my fingers down his chest and to the hem of his shirt, and with one movement, I had that baby up and over his head. He chuckled and then I sat up, straddling his hips, with his hands still resting on my bare thighs.

"I definitely can get use to waking up like this," he said and I smiled and then moved my hands to the end of my shirt and flipped it over my head and smirked towards Sidney, "Definitely."

I blushed and almost put my shirt back on when I saw Sidney staring at me the way he was. I was only wearing a white bra, with black underwear, and when I tried to put my shirt back on, Sidney sat up and grabbed my hands and pressed his lips against mine. I almost fell off of his lap, but he moved his hands to my waist and held onto me.

Sidney pulled away and then held my face, "You're beautiful, Julie."

Something so small, those three tiny words, put a bright smile on my face and I felt Sidney move his hands down my face and onto my bra, trying to find the clasp to take it off. I wrapped my arms around Sidney's neck and pressed my lips against his, and laughed a little when I noticed that he was getting frustrated.

"Are you having trouble there?" I teased as I pulled away and he smirked, "I'll give you a hint," I said and then pointed towards the front of the bra where you could clearly see the hook.

"Of course," he smirked and then moved his legs out from under me and pushed my down onto the bed.

I laughed as he now towered over me and pinned my arms next to my head. He ran his hands down my arms, over my shoulders and to the clasp of my bra, sending waves through my body and moans from my mouth, just from his slightest touch. Sidney unhook my bra and I felt myself being exposed to the cool morning air.

-Allie-

It was getting to be about ten in the morning and everyone was in the kitchen except for Julie and Sidney.

"Where's Mommy?" Josh asked as he sat at the table and ate some bacon with Conner.

"That's a good question," I said and then looked over towards Tyler.

"I'll go get them," he sighed and then I watched as he walked out of the kitchen, only to return minutes later with a smirk on his face, "Let's let them have their privacy."

"What?" I heard Vero ask confused and Tyler walked over towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me and kissed my cheek.

I looked back towards Tyler to see that he looked back towards the kids and then back towards Vero, Marc and I, "Sid's scoring some major goals this morning."

We all laughed and I smiled, '...Good for you, Julie...'

"Are Mommy and Daddy playing hockey?" Josh asked and I laughed and looked at Tyler who didn't know what to say.

"Yes sweetie, they're playing a little hockey."

"I want to play!" he yelled and then jumped down from his seat and as he was about to run out of the kitchen, Tyler grabbed him and threw him over his shoulder.

"You can't, little man!"

"But why not, Uncle Ty!"

"Because we have to get you ready for fishing today!" he said and I sighed.
