Chapter Thirty Five

-Julie-

Vero, Allie and I were laying out on back porch in our bikini's trying to get a tan, while the guys were out fishing and teaching Josh and Conner how to fish. After we got bored of tanning, Vero said that she was going to get a bottle wine and we were going to hop into the hot tub.

"I'm not a wine person," I said and Vero looked at me shocked.

"What kind of wines have you tasted?"

"Um, I don't know, whatever Sidney had the one time," I answered and she smiled.

"I think you'll like this wine," she said and I looked hesitant, "Would you like to try a little?"

"Uh, sure," I said and she nodded her head and left to go into the house to get it while Allie and I went into the hot tub.

"So how was this morning?" Allie asked with a smirk on her face and I tried to hide mine because I knew that my face was getting red.

"You heard?"

"Oh sweetie, I think the whole neighborhood heard the two of you," Allie teased and I covered my face hearing her laugh, "Don't worry, we left the house to let you two have your privacy."

"Oh my god," I said embarrassed.

"There's nothing to be ashamed about! Although I can guarantee that the boys are busting Sidney right now," Allie said while Vero walked outside with three glasses and a giant bottle of wine.

"Oh, are you talking about this morning?" Vero asked and I groaned, "Because you sounded like you two were having a lot of fun," she laughed.

"So was he any good?" Allie asked.

"What about Josh?" I realized and Allie laughed.

"Tyler and Marc took Conner and Josh outside to threw a baseball around," Vero said and I breathed a sigh of relief, "And then when they came back in, you two were still going at it, so we went for a walk with the puppy."

"Did Josh ask?"

"Yeah, we told him that you two needed your rest," Allie said.

"And he believed that?"

"Nope, this morning when Tyler went to go wake you up, I guess he heard and came back into the kitchen saying that Sid was scoring some major goals," Allie said and smirked and shook my head.

"Josh thought you two were playing hockey and wanted to play too," Vero laughed and I let a few giggles out, "That's why the boys took them outside."

"Oh my god," I laughed and then shook my head.

"So was it good?" Allie asked again and I looked at her and bit my lip, "Come on, Julie!"

"It was," I muttered, feeling the heat to my face and then seeing Vero and Allie squeal and then laugh.

"Well, this is a cause for celebration!" Vero said and then handed us a glass and poured the wine.

"So are you gunna go into detail?"

"ALLIE!!!" Vero and I laughed and then I took a sip of the wine and thought that it was good, so I had Vero pour me some more.

-Sidney-

We've been out fishing for hours, and I was surprised that Tyler and Marc didn't ask about this morning, because I know that they knew what had happened between Julie and I this morning. Just thinking about it gave me a high and a smirk on my face.

"Look! Look!" Josh yelled and I looked over towards him to see that his line was moving, I smirked and then walked over towards him, "I got a fish!"

"We don't know that yet, buddy," I said as I stood behind Josh and tried to help him pull the line but it was really heavy, '...I don't think this is a fish...'

"What did you catch? A shark?" Marc laughed as he tried to help pull the line up.

"Nope, a tire," Tyler said as he leaned over the boat and looked into the water.

"Pull it up," Marc said and Tyler grabbed onto it, "People dumping this crap in here, that's pathetic."

"It's still his first catch," I teased and Marc smirked.

We pulled the tire up and Josh posed next to it so that Marc could take a picture, proud of his first catch. After about another hour on the boat, Josh finally did catch a fish and laughed when we placed the moving fish in his hands, Tyler and I showed Josh how to unhook the fish and then Marc took a picture and then I watched as Josh threw the fish back into the water.

It was time to head back to the house and Marc drove the boat back. When we docked, we heard laughing come up from the house.

"Looks like the girls are in the hot tub," Marc said and looked up to see that they were.

"You finally get to see that bikini," Tyler muttered into my ear and I felt my face go hot and a smirk form on my face.

Marc, Tyler and I tied up the boat while Josh and Conner headed up the house. When we finished, we followed up after them and walked up the stairs to the back porch.

"Did you catch anything?" Vero asked.

"We men bring food!" Marc teased in a cave man voice and the girls laughed.

"Good, we're starving," Allie laughed as we came onto the porch.

"And a little tipsy too, I see," Tyler said as he walked over towards Allie and kissed her.

"Josh get anything?" Julie asked and I looked over towards her and saw the gold bikini and had to bite my tongue and not focus on it.

"Uh, he, um-"

"Yeah, he caught a huge tire," Marc said covering me and she laughed when Marc showed her the picture, "And then he caught a fish," he said and then showed her the picture.

"He's so cute," she cooed and I smirked.

"Why don't you boys come in?" Vero said and Marc walked over towards her and kissed her.

"Maybe later," he said and then headed over towards the door, "I'm going to shower, I smell like fish."

I walked over towards Julie and leaned against the hot tub.

"You and Josh have fun?" Julie asked and I smirked and nodded my head.

"I know you had fun this morning," Allie said and her and Vero laughed while Julie's face went red and she looked at me.

"I did have a lot of fun," I whispered into her ear so that she would be the only one to hear it, and then pressed my lips to hers, "I'll see you later."

"You do smell like fish," she teased and I smirked and then walked over towards the door, "Make sure Josh and Conner shower too!"

"All right," I said and then walked into the house.

-Julie-

Between the three of us, we had finished a whole, huge bottle of wine, and Vero and Allie were tipsy as hell. I was a little dizzy, but I think it had more to do with the hot tub than the alcohol. I got out and wrapped the towel around my body and walked into the house to ask Tyler and Marc to get their girls out because they were having a little trouble.

By the time we took a shower, got dressed and came downstairs, it was time for dinner. Vero and Allie were in the living room playing some kind of wii game with Josh and Conner, while Marc and Tyler took a nap. I had no clue where Sidney was, but I saw that they puppy was gone, so I figured that he took the dog for a walk. I decided that the only way dinner was gunna get started, is if I do it myself.

I walked over towards the fridge and saw that there some chicken breasts in the fridge and decided that I was going to grill some up. I walked outside and started the grill and then walked back inside to get the chicken and get started on dinner.

-Sidney-

I took Sasha for a walk with Josh and that was interesting because we had some bonding time and he asked me a lot about my parents and me growing up. For a seven year old, he's been through a lot and knows a lot about emotions, and he was very smart. Josh talked about when he and Julie were on the road, and Kyle would find them and hurt Julie.

When we finished talking, Josh and I walked up the back porch steps and I saw that the grill was on. I didn't think anything of it, because it was close to dinner and I figured that Marc was cooking, but when I saw Julie walk out and open the grill, I was a little surprised.

"Oh, I thought you were playing wii with the others," Julie said as Josh ran over towards her and hugged her.

"No, I was with daddy," he said and then ran into the house and I had a smirk on my face every time he called me 'dad'.

"You're grilling?" I asked and then walked over towards her and kissed her cheek. I looked down to see that she was grilling chicken and they looked really good.

"They're almost finished," she said and I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed her shoulder.

"Who taught you how to grill?"

"My dad," she answered with a smile, "It's been a while, so I had to google things."

I laughed and then walked into the house to see that she had made a salad and was steaming some vegetables, '...Wow...'
