Dear Diary,
Weddings are so complicated.
Sid wants to get married this summer. THIS summer, as in, within the next few months.
That’s insanity!
To compromise, I have insisted we have a small wedding. It would be impossible to plan a huge wedding in such short time.
So for the past few weeks, since I have nothing to do other than school, I have been making guest lists and sending invitations. His mom and my mom both visited for a week to help me sort out which relatives to invite and get the invitations sent. I have a feeling our moms are going to get along very well.
While they were working on the guest list, I had some logistics to sort out. Like bridesmaids, and who would be my maid of honor. A couple of weeks ago I would have picked Carli, but not after what she did.
So I asked Caeleigh. She was ridiculously excited, but immediately started helping me with; she had so many ideas for color themes and flowers and other stuff I hadn’t had time to even think about. And speaking of flowers, Sid as Flower to be his best man. I sort of knew he would pick someone from the team. Maybe his daughter can be our flower girl. Pun intended.
The place we wanted to have our wedding was booked all summer, but when they heard it was Sidney Crosby’s wedding they suddenly had an opening on the exact weekend we wanted. I realized that this probably meant that some unfortunate couple was going to have to reschedule their wedding, but apparently in Nova Scotia that’s something you do for Canada’s favorite hockey player.
Picking the date was actually the hardest part. My doctor has scheduled my c-section for July 10, and I wanted at least a month of recovery and time to lose weight before getting married. We finally decided on August 16, which is a week before Sid has to return to Pittsburgh for training camp.
Actually, the hardest part will be my wedding dress, because I can’t try anything on now, and I don’t know what size I will be a month after having twins. However, we have already had several designers offer to make me a dress. I guess marrying a celebrity has its perks.

I have talked to Brandon a couple times about Marie, or Lisa as she now goes by. I guess after she moved to Vancouver with her fiancé she decided to go by her full name, Lisa-Marie, and then dropped the ‘Marie’ because it reminded her of Brandon too much.
Apparently she wasn’t over him, despite cheating on him for four years and then getting engaged to the guy she had been cheating with.
When she found out my cat was living with him she got suspicious and decided to look into it a little more. I think ‘crazy ex-girlfriend’ might be a bit of an understatement.
I don’t know how she got Carli’s number, or how she even knew Carli was my (former) best friend, but she got more than enough information from her to ruin me. Brandon has tried to reason with her, and even offered to pay her off to keep her quiet. She won’t accept his money, but she has promised not to say anything else.
And even if it did get out that I had been sleeping with Brandon, or that I’d had a threesome with James Neal I could deny it, and Sid would probably believe me. (Right?)

I still have so many things to do for school, which ends in two weeks, for the wedding, and for the twins. The wags are throwing me a baby shower tomorrow, yay!
Sid and I still need to pick names.
This is harder than I thought.
God help me.
Sincerely,
Emme
Notes
Sorry this is so short, I didn't really know what else to add to this chapter.
Also, if you noticed her due date changed it's because I can't do math, oops. It's not some weird plot twist.
Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
Awww !!!! Yayyyyyy <3333
