Chapter Sixty Seven

-Katrina-

"I can't believe it's happening! It's really happening!" I squealed next to Dana and watching as the workers started to measure the space where the new stable was going to go.

"Calm down girl, you're going to be late, you have a hockey game to be at," Dana said and I looked at my watch to see that if I didn't leave now, then I was going to be late for work. I cursed and then started to run towards the house, needing to change my clothes before I left.

It's been a month, playoff season was in session, Pittsburgh had won their Division and Conference and then coming in second for the League. The stable plans are a go, having found three employees total and six people who would be willing to board with us, because the one that they were currently at was too far away. Everything was going well with Sidney and I, he's been playing very well, making sure that he always watches where the puck is at so that he didn't have to take another one to the face.

Tyler was back in Boston, finally being cleared to practice, but not to play. I was hoping that he would be back for the playoffs, but it was just too much damage to his arm, but he'll definitely be back for the beginning of next season. I missed having him around the house, I was sad to see him and Marshall pull out of my driveway and leave.

When I had finished changing, I ran down the stairs and made my way out the door and ran towards my truck, speeding out of my driveway to head to work. The boys had another game against Toronto tonight, I couldn't believe that Toronto had made it to the playoffs. However, we were pretty good, and I could see us beating them and moving on to the next team.

I pulled into my parking spot at work and burst through the door, not bothering to show my ID, because the guard knew who I was. I decided against the elevator, that would take too long, so I went with the stairs.

As I ran out of the stairwell, going so fast in hopes of not being late, I didn't even see someone in front of me, and I slammed hard into them. I bounced back and felt like I was going to fall back, but someone grabbed my arm and placed a hand on my waist to hold me up.

"Need to watch where you're running," I heard and looked up to see that it was a player from the Maple Leafs. He was smirking, humor dripping from his voice.

"Uh, thanks," I said as stood up straight and pulled my shirt down.

He chuckled, "Sure, where's the fire?"

"I'm late for work," I said and he smirked and leaned against the wall, trapping me against the wall.

"Cody Franson," he smirked and held out his hand.

I played along and shook his hand, "Katrina Spelling."

"Spelling? Any relation to Zachary Spelling?"

"Big brother," I smiled and Franson laughed, "I'm late for work, gotta go," I said and started to walk past him but he grabbed onto my wrist.

"Will I get to talk to you some more?" he asked, a cocky smirk on his face.

"Probably not-"

"Kat!" I heard and turned my head to see Sidney walking towards me, "We were looking for you."

I pulled my hand from Franson's and smirked towards Sidney, "Course you were, what would you do without me?!"

Sidney looked back and forth between Franson and I. I sighed, knowing what he was thinking, "I'm guessing I should help Flower," I said as I reached up and kissed his cheek and started to walk away, hoping that that gave Cody Franson the message that I wasn't interested.

I walked down the hall and into my office to see Marc sitting on the table crackling his neck. He smiled brightly towards me when he saw me, and I couldn't help but smile as well.

"You finally made it, mon cher!" Marc said and I laughed and nodded my head, "What took ya?"

"Some guy named Cody Franson," I said, "And then Sid rescued me; although, I don't know where he is now."

"Probably stretching," Marc said and I nodded my head.

"So, what's the problem?"

"Neck still bothering me," he said and I walked over towards him and gripped onto his neck, "Oi! Don't choke me!"

"Sweetie, if I was choking you, you'd know it," I giggled and Marc smirked.

Four days ago, the first game against Toronto, everyone was crowded around Marc, and one of the Toronto players had pushed Tyler Kennedy, and he fell on top of Marc. He was definitely shaken up by it, but ended up finishing the period since there was only thirty seconds left. Tomas finished the game because Marc said that it hurt to turn his neck and his shoulder was sore.

"Well, everything seems to be fine, but you still hurt?" I asked and he nodded his head.

"Well, not really hurt, it's more of an ache," he said and I nodded my head.

"That's common, guarantee that in two days, you'll have no pain or aching," I said and Marc nodded his head, "Do you some Advil though?"

"Sure," he said and I nodded my head and walked over towards the cabinet.

"Hey Marc."

"Yeah?" he asked and I turned around and threw the bottle of advil at him.

"Lay down on your stomach," I said and he looked at me confused but did it anyways.

I walked over towards him and started to rub the tension in his neck and shoulders and felt him groan and then melt against the table. He muttered something in French as his arms dangled over the side of the table. I giggled and the worked from his shoulders to his neck and then cracked his neck. He groaned and then let out a sigh.

The door opened and I looked up to see Sidney standing there smirking towards Marc. A few of the other guys followed and Marc was too busy enjoying this to even notice that they were in the room.

-Sidney-

I watched as Kat walked down the hallway after kissing my cheek. I looked back towards Cody Franson to see that he was watching her as well, a smirk plastered on his face.

"Can I help you?" I asked and Franson looked at me.

"You can get me that girls number," he smirked and growled and clenched my fists.

"She's taken," I hissed and he smirked towards me.

"What? You already call dibs on her? Please, she'll have a lot more fun with me," he smirked and it took everything in my not to punch him right there.

'...Save it for the ice, save it for the ice, just calm down and save it for the ice...' I thought as I shook my head and started to walk away from him.

I made my way through the hallways and walked into the office to see Marc on the table and Kat was massaging his neck. He looked like he was in complete heaven and kept on muttering things in French. Some of the other guys followed me into the room and started to bust Marc.

"Angel hands, Flower?" Pascal teased and Marc nodded his head against the table.

"Dude, I want a massage!" Kris yelled.

"Well when you get hurt, I'll massage you!" Kat said and then guys laughed and told him not to get hurt on purpose.

"Sid, she probably massages you all the time!" Tyler yelled and the guys looked at me.

"Not once actually," I said and the guys looked shocked.

"No way! Are you serious?! Kat that's cold," Paul said and I rolled my eyes, "So only Geno, Flower and I have ever felt her massages?"

"Why are you guys so obsessed? They're just massages," Kat giggled and Geno said something in Russian to her, and I watched as her face grew a little red and she muttered, "Shut up, Geno."

I hated when they did this, '...Speak freakin' English!...'

"So what was the deal with that guy?" Kat asked looking at me, trying to change the subject.

"Franson?" I asked and she nodded her head, "Don't worry about him."

"All right," she smirked and we all heard her crack Marc's neck and he slumped against the table.

Coach came in and said that it was time to get suited up. We all went into the locker room, changed into our gear and the skated out onto the ice. Vokoun was in the net tonight because Kat thought that Marc needed one more day to recover from Tyler slamming into him after being pushed.

I heard my name during warm up and looked to see that some of the Toronto Maple Leafs were standing around making comments about Kat.

"Man she's got a tight little ass," he started and I growled and tried to keep my control.

By the time warm up was over, I was sick of their comments, and they were going to regret saying the dirty remarks they made about Kat. I placed my hand on Kris' shoulder as everyone walked back into the locker room. We were the only two out in the hallway.

"I need a favor," I said and Kris smirked.

"You don't even have to ask, I already know," he said and I nodded my head and patted his shoulder.

"I owe ya one," I said and Kris shook his head.

"She's my friend too."
