Cold As Ice

“Chug! Chug! Chug!” The crowd cheered.
Ariel grabbed another beer as she began chugging it down, James had challenged her to a drinking contest after hearing about how much she could drink. Sid sat by her side, his hand on her thigh as he whispered encouraging words into her ear.
She slammed the glass against the table as her friends cheered; she had beaten James who was very bitter about it, his teammates teased him about losing to a girl while Sidney gave Ariel a congratulatory kiss. Their friends hollered as Ariel deepened the kiss not caring that people were watching, she would take him right there and then.
“Hey,” Beau whispered to Kayla, she looked away from the group and over at Beau who was sitting beside her. “Do you want to get out of here?” He asked.
“Sure.” Kayla smiled, she leaned over to Violet letting her know she was leaving and got up from the table, everyone was too busy talking about James losing that they hadn’t noticed the two of them leave.
“It’s cold.” Beau whined as they walked the streets of New York, he had his arm wrapped around Kayla as he held her close to him; he needed all the body heat he could get.
“You’re always complaining.” Kayla playfully rolled her eyes.
“I wasn’t complaining last night.” He smirked, she shoved him away from him and walked into the park they had managed to end up at. She ran through the snow covered grass and onto the playground.
“Kay come back!” Beau shouted as he chased after her, he climbed onto the playground looking for her.
He bent down to climb through the tunnel tube but stopped once he came face to face with Kayla, “You found me!” She smiled, she moved further into the tunnel giving him some room to join.
He lifted his knees up to his chest as he sat awkwardly in the tube; he looked over at Kayla who seemed to be enjoying her time at the park.
“I miss being a little kid.” She confessed, Beau nodded his head agreeing with her, things had been so simple when they were younger.
“Did you come to the park a lot?” He asked.
“All the time,” She smiled, “I used to spend hours in these little tunnel tubes, they were like my own little hiding spot. I did everything I read, I played, I cried, I wrote on them, I slept in them, I even had sex in one of them.”
He raised his eyebrows, “Really? How’d you fit, it’s so tight in here?” He asked.
“Like this.” She pushed him over so that he was lying on his back; she crawled on top of him and hovered over him as she straddled his waist.
She leaned down and kissed his lips, he hesitated at first a bit nervous about having sex in a public park, but once she started grinding her hips he knew he couldn’t resist.

“Come on Jordan.” Jake grabbed her arm and dragged her with him as he ran around the building.
“Slow down!” She shrieked as she tried to keep up with him without falling on the snowy path, they reached the back of the building and stopped as they looked at the ice rink.
He had insisted on going back to the rink where they met, he wanted to be able to skate with her without there being a crowd and he knew this place was perfect. They sat on the bench side by side as they laced up their skates; she pulled up her jeans making sure to wiggle her ass in front of Jake and walked towards the ice.
She skated onto the fresh ice and turned around to see Jake coming on, she skated backwards as he raced towards her, she looked over her shoulder finding her surroundings, she didn’t want to make a fool of herself and run into the fence.
“Look at what I can do.” Jake called out; he lifted one leg off the ice showing her his figure skating skills.
“Nice one Jake, did Skinner teach you that?” Jordan joked as she remembered Jeff had been a figure skater prior to becoming a hockey player.
“You’re just jealous you can’t do it.” He teased. Jordan smirked as she skated towards him, she lifted herself into the air twirling herself and then landing smoothly right beside him.
“I’m sorry what was that?” She asked with a wide grin on her face, something Jake didn’t know was Jordan had also been a figure skater before she started playing hockey.
“I could do that too.” He scoffed, he started skating towards the middle, he lifted off the ice trying to mimic her moves. Jordan laughed as she watched him fall, she skated towards him hauling to a stop and snowing him.
“All talk but no game Gards.” Jordan teased, she extended a hand to help him up but he pushed it away and got up by himself.
“Try catching me.” She suggested, she skated towards him and jumped off the ground, he caught her in his arms, he lifted her up as he skated backwards.
She laughed as she looked down at him, she moved her hair out of the way as he held her up in the air, he brought her down a bit so that her face was hovering above him.
“Kiss me.” He whispered, she leaned down pressing her lips to his, he held her up firmly as he kissed her, Jordan pulled away from the kiss and grinned.
“Jake watch out!” She shrieked as she finally looked away from him and noticed they were going to crash into the fence.
Jake hit the fence causing him to drop Jordan, she screamed as she slipped from his arms and fell to the floor. She groaned as she rolled over.
“Are you okay?” Jake asked as he held her face in his hands, Jordan nodded and slapped his hands away.
“I’m not a baby.” She laughed as she got up from the ground; she dusted the snow off her jeans and looked up at Jake who was eyeing her carefully.
“Jake I’m fine.” She reassured as she circled around him.
“I really didn’t mean to hurt you.” He apologized, Jordan laughed at the way he was acting, she had had worse falls and it didn’t even hurt that much.
“Jake Gardiner actually cares about someone other than himself?” She faked a gasp.
Jake rolled his eyes and faked a small laugh, “I care about you.” He grinned. Jordan stopped skating as she looked at Jake; she raised her eyebrow as she fully registered what he had said.
“You’re going soft.” She teased as she shoved him and skated away.
“Oh you’re gonna get it now!” She shouted as he skated after her.
