Fate

The day that almost all of the girls were dreading had finally come. The boys we all leaving and heading off ether back to the States or to Sochi. For the Olympians, they left on a flight at 12 while the rest of the boys were heading off for their two week vacation. For Keirstyn, she seen the way her friends had changed over the course of two days. Though many were ecstatic, there was still Autumn who was upset out of her mind. Autumn had spent the rest of her time since the incident, in her bedroom watching sad romantic movies. Keirstyn had called up Jordan who was currently sitting Autumn's bed as she waited for Jake to pick her up for their date.

"She's awful." Jordan opened up to Keirstyn as she walked out of Autumn's bedroom and into her own.
"I feel so bad for her, she didn't deserve what the fucking kid did to her." She growled into the phone as Jordan agreed.
"I'm telling Jake more about it tonight, hopefully he could take him in a fight. Okay, that won't happen, Jake couldn't take anyone in fight, let's be real." She admitted as Keirstyn laughed.
"I'm going to come over to spend the night with her." Keirstyn told Jordan to which nodded to herself as she checked herself in the mirror.
"Alright, see you soon."

A knock rang through the apartment as Jordan opened the door to see Jake. She smiled softly as he opened his arms for her to enter. He had his charming smirk planted across his face as he began to speak.

"Hey, Jords." He greeted, wrapping his arms around the girl.
"Hey, love." She mumbled as her face was pressed to his chest.

Pulling apart, Jake pressed a soft kiss onto Jordan's forehead as he gave Jordan a serious look.
"Is she doing better?" He whispered, regarding Autumn.
"No.." Jordan admired as he nodded, giving her a soft smile.
"Can I see her?" He asked, as Jordan gave him a nod.

He followed behind the short blonde as they stood in the doorway of Autumn's room. Her eyes were puffy and red, full of tears as they fixed on the television. Clearing his throat, Jake stepped forward and began to speak.

"Hey, Autumn." He greeted as she turned over to see him.
"Hi." She greeted with a weak smile.
"Look, I'm not going to talk about how what he did was wrong. Just know that your friends have your back and so do your new ones, like me. I'll be sure to get Gleason to get him on the ice, sound good?" He asked, trying to make her smile again.
"Thanks, Jake.." She began before looking over at Jordan who had her arms crossed, admiring the two.
"Have fun tonight." She finished as he smiled, putting a hand on her shoulder giving her a soft squeeze.
"Feel better." He told her before getting up and holding his hand out for Jordan.
Taking his hand, she looked at Autumn and smiled. "Love you, girl."

With that, the two blondes made their way to the door as they swung it open to see Keirstyn with her fist raised to knock. Her eyes opened wide as she saw the door open to reveal the two.

"Hey guys!" Keirstyn greeted, giving Jordan a hug and Jake a wave.
"Hey, Auds is in her room, you can stay here for the night if you want." Jordan told her as she nodded before winking at the two.
"Have fun, kids."

Walking into the apartment, Keirstyn shut the door and kicked off her shoes. She made her way to Autumn's room as she fixed her cardigan, wrapping it around herself as she felt a chill. She saw Autumn in her state as she frowned, knocking on the wall.

"Hey kiddo." Keirstyn began as she crossed her arms.
"Hey.." Autumn spoke softly as Keirstyn studied her.
"Can I grab you anything, thought I could keep you company?" She asked as Autumn looked up at her.
"Can I have some more ice cream?" Autumn asked as Keirstyn nodded, looking over Autumn's head to see three pails of ice cream beside her.
"Uh yeah, let me grab these." Keirstyn then grabbed the empty containers and brought them to the kitchen before throwing them out. Digging into the freezer, she found a container of ice cream and a spoon. Walking back into the bedroom, she handed the brunette the container and spoon before hoping into the bed beside her. She snuggled up in the blankets as she looked at the television.
"What are we watching?" She asked softly.
"I'm putting on Titanic." She told her.
"Depressing."
"My life."

Keirstyn bit her lip as she felt bad. The rest of the night she sat with her friend as they watched around five movies before they fell asleep in the early hours of the morning. Waking up slowly, Keirstyn felt a hard object under her stomach. Feeling around, she grabbed her phone as she saw a reminder on her phone;

Beau's Flight: 2:00PM"

Looking up at the time, her eyes grew wide as she saw she had only thirty minutes to get to the airport. She jumped out of bed which stirred Autumn, making her groan.

"What are you doing?" Autumn asked as Keirstyn put her hair behind her ears before getting dressed.
"Uh, Beau's flight leaves in less then an hour, I need to go.." She began as Autumn nodded.
"Have fun."

Keirstyn thanked her and quickly grabbed her coat and shoes and made off. She ran down to her car which was parked outside the apartment. Hoping in, she rang Beau's number before driving off. He didn't answer which made her groan in frustration. She had to see him. Driving down the street, she merged onto the Gardiner Expressway, weaving in and out of lanes. Dialing him again, she sighed as he finally answered.

"Hey, are you coming?" Beau asked as Keirstyn checked her blind spot before turning into the left lane.
"Yeah, I just got out of Autumn's apartment, I'll be there in like fifteen minutes." She told him as he smiled to himself.
"Great, see you soon, babe."

Hanging up, she set the phone down and kept driving. She eventually got to the airport as she pulled into the departures. She let her car idle as she ran through the doors, she looked around trying to find Beau. He was seated 30 meters away as he saw her run in quickly. He stood up and began walking over to her as she pulled out her phone. Letting the phone ring, he answered as he smiled at her trying to find him.

"I'm here." She told him as he began to speak now that he was right behind her.
"I know." He laughed as she turned, scared out of her mind.
"Holy shit, you scared me you dick!" She cried, hitting his chest as he laughed, pulling her into his arms.
"I missed you.." He sighed as she hugged him back before giving him a weird look.
"It's been like, less then a day." She laughed as he shrugged, looking down at her.
"Well shit, sorry for feeling a way I can't help." He smirked as she rolled her eyes before looking around him.
"What?" He asked as he gave him a puzzled look.
"Where's your luggage?" She asked as he shrugged.
"Hello?" She asked again as he tried to keep a straight face.
"Don't have any." He told her as she gave him an eyebrow raise.
"Okay.." She spoke in a confused voice as he wrapped his arms around her waist again.
"I didn't pack anything." He told her as she looked up at him.
"Why"?" She asked, while his eyes lingered on hers.
"Because I'm not going anywhere." He told her bluntly as her eyes grew wide.
"Wait, what the hell are you talking about?" She asked as he shrugged.
"I'm not leaving." He told her as she pushed him slightly off, giving him a confused look.
"Whats going on?" She asked as he began, taking her hands into his.
"Keirstyn, I've grown to really like you. Yeah I guess it's only been a few days but I can't help how I feel and how strong the feelings are. It started off as just a simple hook up but something about, us, feels so right. So I've decided, I'm not leaving you, Keirstyn." He smiled as she felt herself feel weak.
"R-Really?" She muttered as he laughed, pulling her hands around his neck as his found her waist.
"Yes, two weeks, it's just us, baby girl." He told her as she felt happy tears spring to her eyes.
"I can't wait." She smiled softly as he wiped her tears before pressing his lips to hers passionately.
