Find My Way Back To You

It had been two months since they last saw each other. Two months since they last spoke. Two months since Autumn found out about Sidney's cheating ways. She had never, ever, pinned him to be the type to go behind someone's back like that, but like they say, you can't read a book by it's cover. Autumn was in hers and Jordan's apartment, as she was on her computer, searching up new job profiles up and about in her city. She was in need to find a new job because of how much she hated the one she currently had, working retail at two different stores. She'd rather do something more alive, up beat. That's why she was looking under the bartender openings. As she scrolled down, she heard the footsteps of someone, knowing it had to be Jake.

"Morning, Gardiner." Autumn greeted, her head in her hand as she kept scrolling.
"Hey, Autumn. I was trying not to wake anyone up." He smiled as she raised a brow, looking over at him.
"It's noon." She told him as he shrugged innocently, walking into the kitchen.

Jake and Jordan were hanging out a lot at each others places, they both practically lived together if you could count the number of items of each others in each of their homes. Autumn was slightly jealous of her friends working relationship that she craved so bad with none other, Sidney. She bit her lip as she focused back in on her computer screen.

"Autumn, can I ask you something?" Jake asked as he began to make a pot of coffee.
"Yeah, sure." She told him as she looked up to see him run a hand through his hair.
"I want to ask Jordan to move in with me." He told Autumn who raised a brow.
"Thought you already were living together." She smirked as he laughed softly.
"I mean officially move in. Just her and I. And I wanted to see if that was alright with you, since you live together and you'd need to find a new roommate or something." He spoke as she nodded.
"I don't see a problem with it, Kenzie's looking for a new roomie still, she had to kick out the last one because she found coke in her coffee tin." Autumn confessed as Jake smiled softly.
"You sure?" He asked as she nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, I'll be sure to through you a moving in party and give you gift cards to pottery barn." She winked as Jake rolled his eyes.
"Thanks."

Jake had become really good friends with Autumn since he had met the girls. He guessed it was just easier for them to become good friends than the other girls due to him always being around their place. He took a seat next to Autumn at the bar table as he took a sip from his mug. He glanced over at Autumn's screen as he raised a brow.

"Bartending, really?" He laughed softly.
"Yeah, what's it to you man?" She spat as he smiled.
"You need to do a bartending course, yah know." He told her she she sighed.
"Seriously?" She softly spoke as he nodded.
"It's online so don't worry about having to get up and go out or anything." He smirked as she rolled her eyes.
"Do you really want to get into bartending?" He asked as she nodded.
"Yeah.." She confessed.
"Alright, then I'll check with some people I know. Be lucky I know people." He playfully spoke as her eyes grew up.
"Thank you, oh my god!" She pleaded, giving him a brief hug.

Jordan walked out on the two hugging as she stood against the wall, leaning on it. She wore her white robe as she raised a brow, a soft smile on her face.

"Guess I didn't get an invite to the love fest." She spoke as they both turned around and smiled at her.
"Don't worry, Jords, I'm not interested in your boy. Looks like my dog back home." She spoke as Jake looked at her, confused.
"Wow, thanks for the compliment." He laughed awkwardly before Jordan walked over, shaking her head.
"Don't worry, my dog looks more like JVR." Jordan smirked as she stood in front of Jake, her hands rested on his thighs.
Jake smiled as he leant forward, pecking her lips as he patted his lap.
"What?" She asked, raising a brow.
"Hop up!" He smiled as Autumn gave Jake a disgusted look.
"Can you not try to get your dick ridin' on in front of me, God damn Americans." She shook her head as Jordan began to laugh hysterically, Jake giving her a weird look.
"Fine, Jordan let's go to Autumn's room then." He smirked as he quickly shot up, picking Jordan up as she began to scream, hitting his back with her hands.

Autumn let out a loud, "Hey!", Before she hopped down off the chair and towards her room.

She walked in to see Jake laying down on top of Jordan, kissing her passionately, her hands holding onto his neck. Autumn began to gag as she hit Jake's back with her fist.

"Get out of my room you douche!" She yelled as he laughed against Jordan's lips.
"No can do!" He smiled as Jordan screamed softly.
"You're heavy get off me!" She laughed as he laid on her, smiling. He began to leave kisses all over Jordan's face as Autumn rolled her eyes.
"You seriously are a dog." She spoke before walking out and going back to the computer.

That night, Autumn had the place to herself as Jake brought Jordan out for dinner to a nice restaurant. He was going to ask her to move in with him, which he needed a constant encouragement to stop being such a baby about asking her, by Autumn. When the two left, Autumn ordered in some Chinese as she decided on inviting Kenzie over. She sat down on the couch waiting for her friend to come over, as she turned on her television. Deciding on keeping on MTV, Autumn jumped up as she then heard a knock. She opened the door to see Kenzie and the delivery man standing outside the door. Autumn raised a brow as she laughed softly. Kenzie stood behind the little Asian man, waiting for him to drop off the food. Once she had paid, Autumn took the food and said a quick, 'thanks', as Kenzie walked in. They shut the door as Autumn smiled at her friend.

"Let's dig in, man." Autumn said as Kenzie nodded.

The two sat on the couch and ate their food as they watched some stupid dating show, obviously all scripted. They laughed and discussed how stupid it all was, having your parents decide on someone for you to date while you had a boyfriend or girlfriend.

"If my parent's did this to me, I'd probably kill myself." Kenzie spoke as Autumn nodded.
"And that blonde haired girl the parents picked, is more fake than the actual girlfriend!" Autumn spoke.

A phone ringing through the apartment sounded as Autumn jumped up, walking over to the kitchen counter. She picked up her cell as she saw she had an incoming call from Victoria. She hadn't talked to the blonde in so long, as she felt excited. She smiled widely, answering the phone.

"Tori!" She chimed as Victoria laughed.
"Hey Autumn, how are you! I miss you!" She replied.
"I'm just watching some t.v with Kenzie, I miss you too! What are you doing?" She asked, playing with some paper beside her, drawing on it with a pen.
"I'm actually at the airport with G. We're heading off to Ottawa." Victoria announced as Autumn's eyes grew wide.
"That's close, we can meet up!" Autumn told her, happily as Victoria smiled, looking at Geno who was beside her, playing with her hair.
"Actually, the boys have a game in Toronto two days after. We'll be in town for Tuesday." Victoria announced as Autumn screamed of joy.
"No fucking way!" She spoke as Victoria laughed.
"Yeah, I'll text you or call you when I get to Ottawa, we love you girl!" She told Autumn as Geno grabbed the phone, smiling up at his girlfriend.
"Love you!" Geno laughed as Autumn smiled widely.
"Love you both too." She said before she looked at Kenzie.
"And Kenzie loves you both too!" Autumn said as Victoria grabbed the phone back.
"Oh we love her too, we gotta get going though. Bye!" She said to her friend as she hung up the phone to see Geno smiling innocently.
"She nice girl." He smiled.

Though it was hard for Autumn to be close to her friends and their boyfriends, she was happy to have such good people in her life. She began imagining in her mind what it would be like to see the two after two months. As she sat down on the couch, she told Kenzie of the news. The two talked about how excited they were to see Victoria, as Autumn stopped talking, her eyes opened wide as she covered her mouth.

"Shit!" She coursed as Kenzie raised a brow.
"What?" Kenzie asked, confused.

"Sidney's going to be back in town."
