Find My Way Back To You

Autumn walked in the front door of her apartment to see Jordan and Faith sitting on the couch. Raising a brow, Autumn mentally questioned why Faith was at their apartment, before Faith finally spoke out a greeting.

"Hey, Autumn." Faith smiled as Autumn took off her sunglasses, setting them on the kitchen counter before walking to her friends.
"Hey, Faith.." Autumn said, which came out more like a question.
"How are you?" Faith asked as Autumn sat back, holding a pillow.
"Fine, yourself?" She asked before Faith smiled.
"Pretty good." She replied as Autumn nodded.

Jordan smiled at the two before Autumn looked at the blonde, feeling curious.

"How'd your date with Jake go last night?" Autumn asked her friend.
"Good, good. We went out for dinner at the 360 restaurant on top of the CN Tower." She chimed as Autumn smiled.
"You celebrate last night?" Autumn joked as Jordan's eyes grew slightly wide.
"Celebrate what?" She asked a little confused as Autumn continued.
"Well I mean I'm going to be finding a new roommate soon so I want to know if you at least celebrated." Autumn told her.
"How did you know that I'm moving in with Jake!?" Jordan asked ecstatically before Faith's head spun to the blonde.
"You're moving in!?" She asked as Jordan blushed, nodding softly.
Autumn continued to answer Jordan's question as she smiled softly. "Jake asked me if it was fine to ask you because I'd need a new roommate, but I just guessed you'd say yes, more like my intuition told me." She winked as Jordan smiled.
"Oh, well yeah we're moving in together next Thursday because he has no games or practices. He's also kicking Morgan out." Jordan laughed as Autumn raised a brow.
"Hey maybe I can get Morgan to move in." Autumn pondered as Jordan smiled softly.
"Actually, he's moving in with Kadri." She told Autumn who nodded softly.

Jordan then got up as she sighed happily. She itched her shoulder as she began to speak to her friends.
"I'm going to take a shower, I'll be out in a few." She smiled as the girls nodded.

Once the door shut to Jordan's bedroom, Autumn looked at Faith as she gave her a serious look.

"What the fuck is going on with you and Skinner?" She demanded, making Faith nervously laugh.
"Uh, we well. He's in a relationship but it's only for publicity, his agent's commands." She sighed as she ran a hand through her hair.
"I told him I was fine with him being with her for publicity just as long as he was devoted to me and committed to us working on being a couple behind doors." She sighed as Autumn shook her head.
"What a little bitch." She commented as Faith frowned.
"I really like him, Autumn." She confessed as Autumn nodded.
"I know you do, it just shouldn't be like you're a secret" Autumn told her, knowing what being a secret felt like.
"I know, but him and I are working on trying to figure out how he can break it off." She smiled softly as Autumn gave her a one sided one in return.
"Just don't get hurt, alright?" Autumn told her best friend as she nodded.
"I won't, thank you for understanding. And please, don't tell anyone." She begged as Autumn nodded.
"Secrets safe with me."

Faith went to hug Autumn as she groaned, pushing her away.
"Hey, hey, hey, I said I'll support you but I'm not going to join you." She cried as Faith laughed awkwardly.
"Sorry."
"When does Jeff even go back to Carolina?" Autumn asked as Faith shrugged.
"Well since he's out right now because of his injury, I don't think he'll be playing anytime soon, but I think he goes back soon to begin therapy." Faith answered her friend who then nodded.

Jordan had popped out of the shower and changed into a sweats and a big t-shirt which belonged to Jake. She combed her wet strains out as she sat down beside Autumn and Faith. Watching the Blackhawks vs. Avalanche game, the girls all sat attentively as Autumn sighed softly.

"Mackinnon is so hot." Autumn admired as Jordan and Faith looked at each other, smiling.

Their old friend was slowly coming back and they were proud of her.

"Yeah, he is, he's definitely getting rookie of the year." Faith commented.
"Would be cool if Morgan got it." Jordan spoke as Autumn rolled her eyes.
"You going after the roommate too, now?" She commented as Jordan looked at her.
"How'd you know." She spoke sarcastically as Autumn and Faith smiled softly.

They continued watching the game as the house phone rang. Getting up, Jordan answered it while Autumn continued to admire Nathan Mackinnon.

"Hey guys, Keirstyn's coming over!" Jordan announced as the two girls spoke soft, 'alrights'.

Preparing some snacks for the girls, Jordan decided on making nacho's. As she prepared the food, she heard the door knock as she opened it. In the hall she was met with a panting Jeff as she raised a brow.

"Jeff what are you doing here?" She asked confused as Autumn and Faith both jumped up.

The two ran over as he became rattled, not expecting Jordan to answer the door.

"Uh, I, uh." He stuttered as Faith began to speak.
"He came here because I had to talk to him about going to watch one of his games in Carolina." Faith made up quickly as Jordan nodded, understanding.
"Oh, alright well we'll leave you alone." She smiled as she walked off to the kitchen to continue preparing the nacho's.

Autumn looked at Jeff and Faith as they stood side by side, awkwardly. Faith shooed Autumn away as she threw her hands up in innocence as she closed the front door, leaving them alone in the hall. As Autumn went to grab a beer, Jordan began to make conversation.

"I didn't know Jeff and Faith still kept in touch. Thought they just had a few dates." She remarked as Autumn bit her lip.
"Uh, yeah, they're just friends though, pretty sure Faith's having a thing with Neal." Autumn covered as Jordan raised a brow.
"Faith and Neal have a thing?" She asked confused as Autumn nodded.
"Yeah, they exchanged numbers the night we all met at the bar." Autumn convinced Jordan who nodded with a smile.
"Can't believe there's another going after a Penguin." Jordan laughed as she noticed the slight drop in Autumn's face.

Instantly regretting what she said, she looked at Autumn with a frown.
"Shit, I'm sorry Autumn, I totally forgot I just meant-" She began as Autumn smiled, waving her hands.
"No, no. It's fine, don't worry I know what you meant." She reassured her friend who smiled and nodded.

Meanwhile in the hall, Jeff had Faith up against the wall as he kissed her deeply. Her hands held onto his neck as she lowered his head for her to reach. He pressed his body to hers as she smirked against his lips. She grinded into his lower half as he groaned against her lips. He began to whisper against her lips as he breathed heavily.

"I love you." He whispered as Faith's eyes grew wide.
"What?" She asked as he repeated himself.
"I love you." He said again as she raised a brow.
"Jeff we've been in a relationship for two months." She spoke as he shook his head.
"But I've loved you since I've met you." He confessed as she ran a hand through her hair.
"Jeff please don't be a little bitch right now." She sighed as he laughed softly.
"I'm serious, Faith. I do love you." He held her hands in his as he smiled softly. "I'll wait until you see that I truly do. And hey, maybe you'll love me too down the road." He whispered as she put her head against the wall and looked up.
"God you're such a pussy." She commented before looking at him and kissing him deeply again.
