All of me

'Here!' - I see flash on my phone screen. It was Reilly. He had left my place over an hour ago, and went to his apartment to shower and change.

'Be right out!' as I grabbed my purse as I headed out of the door.

According to Reilly, he had an amazing day planned for us, which I was really looking forward too! I was more excited to just spend the whole day with him than anything and getting out of the house. I needed to get out of there after everything, I learned to put that behind me and focus on what is important and Reilly was on top of that list.

Just breathe. It happens, you can’t change the past Emma. Move on. I kept telling myself, over and over.

'Hey babe' I said as soon as I got in to the car.

He immediately answers by leaning over his seat and giving me a soft peck on the lips.

'I figured that since it's actually nice out we can go walking near the Charles, grab something to eat and then decide as we go! How does that sound?' As his hand reaches across the seat to grab mine.

'Perfect! Thank you for this!' Giving him a slight smile.

'Anything for you.' as he kisses my hand.

It took us a while to find parking, it was Boston after all. We got out and started walking down a trail. The weather was beautiful today, warm, sunny with a slight breeze. We walked by this area, containing a playground, that was packed. Kids were running around and laughing with one another. This automatically put a smile on my face. I loved children. I practically raised my brother and cousins, so I grew up around children.

As we walked a little bit further, there was this grass area facing the Charles surrounded by trees. The view was breathtaking. As we get closer, I notice there was a picnic set up.

'Aw look how cute that is. A picnic!'

'Where?'

'Over there by the water' I said and pointed toward the direction.

'Oh I see it. Aww! So romantic!' As he mocked my reaction. I started laughing.

'Yeah, lucky girl. Take notes.' I whispered as I elbowed Reilly.

Reilly started walking towards it.

'Reilly, what are you doing?' I stopped walking.

'Let's check it out' he says. He was dead serious.

I walk up to him, trying to pull him away from going there.

'Come on, I'm sure they won't mind. No one is there! See!' as he looks around.

'Reilly!' Laughing nervously and putting my hands on my face.

‘Nope, I can’t.’ I continue.

I turn around and walk the other direction. He starts laughing and grabs me by my hips and pulls me closer,

'Woah, where do you think your going?' As he laughs while kissing my neck.

'I'm not going to ruin their picnic Reills' As I attempt to be the rational one.

'You're right, I'm sorry. I was kidding anyway' we start heading the other way.

'Sure you were. Now please can we go?'

Before I know it Reilly lifts me, honeymoon style and turns back around.

'Emms, that lucky girl is you. Surprise!'

Oh my god!

I froze with the biggest smile on my face, speechless.

He takes me near the area and puts me down. He opens his arms displaying the area.

'TaDa!' I just stood there shocked! I couldn't believe he had done this! Tears started forming in my eyes.

'I hope those are happy tears, please don't cry' he comes over and wipes them.

'I'm sorry, and yes they are! This is amazing! Thank you Reilly, I really mean it, not only for this but for everything. These past few days have been really hard and I don't know how I would have made it through them without you.'

He didn't say anything, tears started forming in his big brown eyes. He came closer and pulled me into a big hug, limiting the space between us. He gave me a kiss on the forehead and we held one another for a few minutes.

'I love you Reilly'

'I love you more.'

After a few minutes, Reilly broke the silence.

'You hungry?'

'Absolutely!' As we both sit down.

'This looks amazing!' I opened the basket and saw that he had packed sandwiches, Fruit salad, there was also lemonade/iced tea/water and a white box. There was also a small container containing chocolate and strawberries.

'Well? What the verdict? How does everything look? I pretty much made everything myself, aren't you proud?' Flashing his pearly whites.

'They look delicious! Can't believe you made all of these!'

'Well expect for these bad boys over here' as he takes out the white box from the basket. It was 4 red velvet cupcakes. He continues,

'I went to Georgetown Cupcakes earlier. I got red velvet, they're my favorite and I wasn't sure what you liked...'

'Red velvet cupcakes are my favorite as well.' I said smiling,

'I knew it' he chuckled!

'That sure hit the spot' rubbing his tummy.

'Sure did, I'm stuffed! Thank you again for this! Who knew you were the king of sandwiches'

'Hahaha I live off of sandwiches so if I can't even make a sandwich that I'm pretty much screwed.'

'I haven't cooked you a meal yet...maybe we can do that soon?'

'I can't say no to a home cooked meal! I'm excited!'

'Anything in particular?'

'Surprise me' he said as he pulled me closer to him.

His back rested on the tree trunk. My back rested on his firm chest. He pulled me in front of him, after he grabbed a blanket that he had packed from a separate bag.

‘Comfy?’ with his arms wrapped around my waist.

‘Very’ as I rested my head on his chest as I faced the river. The wind had dyed down, and the water was peaceful and quiet.

‘I can’t believe you brought chocolate and strawberries though! Haha! Who knew you were so romantic? I love it!

‘What can I say, I’m a hopeless romantic.’ in the most sarcastic tone.

‘Who knew?!’ I started laughing.

‘There are a looot of things you don’t know about me Emms’

‘I know, you’re like a closed book. Can’t wait to learn all of them, one by one!’

He laughs.

We stayed there all day, talking, goofing around, eating, and talking some more.

‘Thank you again for this Reilly’ as I turned my head back to face him, tears started slowly forming.

‘You know I’m always here for you, right? I’m always going to be here for you. No matter what. You are the strongest person I know and you deserve everything and more. Its the least I could do.’

Cue the waterfalls.

He gives me a long and passionate kiss, leaving me breathless.
