'Hey Emma! I'm Kevin.' Kevin says as he shakes my hand. He continues,

'And this right here is my girlfriend, Jess' as he introduces her.

Oh my god. He had no idea what had happened between Reilly and Jess.

Jess just gives me a wave and flashes a fake smile. She should be around 7 months now, her baby bump clearly noticeable.

'Nice to meet you...' I say forcing a smile and take my eyes off of her.

How did they know where we were?

'I'm sorry for showing up out of no where, I just wanted to surprised Reilly. I hope that’s okay?' He seemed like such a sweet guy.

'Of course it's okay! Please, come join us'

'Thank you!' He grabs Jess’ hand as they both follow me.

We walk to the table, and Reilly had his back towards us. Danny and Mark, on the other hand, looked up and froze. They looked at each other, shocked. Reilly notices his friends' reaction and turned around. He quickly gets up with the biggest smile on his face and gives Kevin a hug. It was so sweet, he clearly missed him.

'Happy Birthday bud' Kevin said.

'Wow! What a surprise! Thanks bro!'

'Hi everybody, for those of you who don’t know, this is Kevin and this is his um girlfriend, Jess' I introduced them to the other people around the table that didn't know them. They all knew or had heard of Jess, obviously.

'Happy Birthday Reilly!' She says as she hugs him.

‘Thanks’ he says as he glares at me.

'We can fit you two right here' said the waitress and they sat between McQuaid and Krug.

'So have you guys decided what you want to start with? What drinks would you guys like?' People starting shouting what they wanted.

I lean towards Reilly and whisper in his ear.

'He just introduced me to Jess.' He just looks at me. I continue,

'Reilly...he doesn't know'

He just looks at me, surprised and shakes his head.

'Please don't say anything tonight...please.'

He nods and tells Mark and Danny. They looked pissed. Mark exhales slowly and looked at me as his jawline tightened.

'Not tonight' I mouthed to him. He nods.

The rest of dinner was good. Everyone shared funny stories.

'I'm sorry, I didn't invite you earlier Kevin, I wasn't sure you were going to come with the baby on the way and everything.' I say, I really felt bad because he seemed like a total sweetheart and a genuinely nice person.

'Don't even worry about it Emma. I was talking to Jess and she said she always wanted to visit Boston so I was like why not!' he was so oblivious.

As he was talking, I took a sip of wine and choked.

Her first time?! Please.

Reilly lightly taps my back.

'You okay?' He asks.

'Sorry it went down the wrong way.'

'So Jess, it's Jess right?' Katie says. Jess nods. 'How are you liking Boston so far?'

'I love it! I can't believe I haven’t visited Boston sooner' With a smirk on her face.

I grab Katie's hand under the table and squeeze it. I wanted to jump across the table and tackle her.

Breathe was all I could tell myself.

Throughout dinner, everyone was getting along, shared stories, mostly embarrassing stories. Brad decided to make a joke about the guys in the locker room as I started taking a sip of my drink and I choked again from laughing so hard.

'Are you okay?' Reilly asks as I continue laughing. I nod.

'She'll be fine. This always happens, it’s just bad timing.' Katie says with a straight face,

'Wait for the tears, Does she have tears in her eyes?' She continues, I lift my head as I wipe my tears.

'Yep. Typical!' She says as she rubs my back.

'Thanks Katie!' I snap giving her one of my looks. I continue laughing.

'Okay I'm good!' I clear my throat that was burning and take a deep breathe.

'I didn't think I was this funny. But thanks Emma!' Brad said as he starts laughing.

'Anytime.' I put my hand on my chest and clear my throat, still recovering. Reilly rested his hand on my leg. His thumb was doing circular motion just above my knee unintentionally. I took a few deep breathes as my heart was beating out of my chest and I started blushing. The things this kid does to me.

'So which club do you want to go afterwards?' Torey asked Reilly.

'Royale?' He suggests.

'Let's do it!' Adam yells.

'Royale it is!' I look over at Reilly who winks with a smirk on his face.

'Jess, will you be okay going to the club?' Kevin asks,

'Yeah I'll be fine. I'll come for a little bit, then head to the hotel' she answers.

'Let's go then!' The check was payed and got up. We took 2 SUVs to Royale. When we get to Royale the line was long. We were lucky that the boys could get in right away because of their status, and could get their own VIP table.

'Perks of bring a Bruin, no line and VIP section' Adam says.

'Must be nice...' Katie says as Adam pulls her closer.

'Well you know! Every time we go somewhere, you get the same treatment so why are you complaining?' He tries to keep a straight face. He pulls her in for a kiss.

We head upstairs and it's the same place where they were last time. It brought back a few memories that's for sure. The boys got bottles of everything.

I was talking to Torey's wife, Melanie and Katie, when Reilly comes over and asks us what we wanted. Correction, what they wanted, not me. He hands them their drinks and calls me up.

'And here's your cranberry juice' as he hands me the glass.

Really?

I turn and look at Katie, she stares,

'He gave me cranberry juice.' She starts cracking up. She gets up gives Reilly a high five and a hug.

'You two are hilarious.' I said as I pushed him aside. Marchy comes over to the drinks table.

'Take a shot with me?' I ask him.

'Gladly!' As I pour two tequila shots and grab two slices limes.

'Cheers!' Click. The tequila burned as it smoothy went down my throat. The lime sure helped though.

'I sure love a girl who can drink' Reilly says as he pulls me closer to him and gives me a kiss.

'Mmm citrusy!' he says as he licks his lips.

'I figured I'd change it up a bit from usual plain cranberry juice.'

He starts laughing.

'But you should be on the lookout, when I drink I tend to spill my drinks on people' I whisper in his ear.

'Trust me I know first hand. But luckily for you, you are more than welcome to spill your drink on me anytime.' Instantly I start blushing.

It was like déjàvu, all over again.

'Can we sit down please?' Well that shot hit me out of nowhere.

'You okay babe?' He asks.

'Yeah my feet just hurt a little bit.' The truth was that my knee was bothering me.

He sits on the couch and I sit on his lap. Mark joins us.

'Hey bud!' Reilly puts his hand on his shoulder.

'You having a good time bro?' Mark asks.

'Of course, couldn't have asked for a better birthday!'

'Well thank this girl, she made it all happen'

'You're too sweet!' I gently smile

'I'm surprised Danny kept his mouth shut. You can't tell that guy anything.' Reilly says as we all start laughing.

'Thats why I told him only 2 days ago.' We continue laughing.

'So what do we tell Kevin?' Reilly's whole expression changed.

'Yeah, I've only seen him a few times, I'm surprised he's here. I can't believe that bitch hasn't told him yet.' Mark says

'Why didn't she get an abortion? Clearly she's not stable to take care of a child'

'Reilly!' I slap him

‘What? Its true’ He says.

'Because she still wants to believe it's still yours? Besides isn't it to late to have one now? I don't even know how far she is in the pregnancy.'

'She's psycho brother, she needs help.'

'Yeah she is. Crazy bitch. Anyway! It's your birthday! We’ll talk about her another day! Let's do a birthday shot!'

He grabs the Patron bottles and pours us shots.

'Happy birthday babe!' As I go to take the shot.

'Yeah, happy birthday babe!' Mark says as he winks.

My eyes started to water. I was done with tequila shots for the night. Kevin walks over.

'Hey, I think we’re going to call it a night, Jess is tired and we've had a long day.' Kevin says

'I completely understand. Where are you guys staying tonight? You can stay at my place' Reilly offered.

'Thanks bro but we have a room booked at the hotel near by. I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow? Maybe we can do something' Kevin suggests

'Of course! I'll call you. Thanks again for coming tonight. It means a lot.'

Kevin just nods and gives Reilly a hug.

'Night Emma' he says as he gives me a hug.

'Night, tell Jess I said bye'

'Sure will' and he disappears.

I just stare at Reilly and shake my head.

'I know' is all he says.

After an hour or so,

'I'm going to the restroom.' I tell Katie. I remembered it from last time.

'Want me to show you where it is?'

'No it's right around the corner. I'll be right back'

I walk in and wash my hands and fix my hair. As I walk out and turn the corner-

'Oh I'm so-' I crash into none other than Reilly Smith. I continue,

'Sorry...' As he grabs my hips.

'You!' He says

'We have to stop meeting like this' I say,

'Just like old times' he smiles.

'Too bad I don't have a drink in my hand this time.'

'Yeah, too bad' he whispers as he kisses me, pulling me deeper and deeper.

'Woah, slow down there cowboy' as I grab his face.

'I'm sorry.'

'Don't apologize. It's that I've never seen you like this before. I like it.' I start giggling.

He wraps both hands behind his waist and spins me.

'Reilly!' He gently puts me down and begins kissing my neck, from under the ear to the base of my neck and back up. My head started spinning.

'I'm just so happy right now. Thank you for everything. It means so much. I definitely needed this. Thank you.'

'You're welcome babe. You deserve it.'

'I love you' he says as he rests his forehead against mine.

'I love you more' I say and he begins laughing. 'Let's head back.' He nods.

'Hey you!' A girl shouts as we were about to head into the room.

We both turned around to see who it was. It was a blond girl and her pack of six girls, the same girl who shoved her tongue down Reilly's throat that night at Royale. I clearly remembered her.

Reilly turns back around and keep walking.

'Wow. Since when did you get so rude?! Is it ever since you started fucking this bitch?' She shouted.

Reilly don't do anything stupid.

'Stay here.'

He turned around so fast and walked up to her.

'Don't fucking call her that. What the hell do you want?'

'I want you baby, like old times' as she walks up to him and places her palm on his chest. He takes a few steps back and pushes her hand away.

'Babe, don't be like that' she tried to grab his face. He grabs her hand and pushes away.

'I've only seen you once! And get your filthy hands off me' he says.

'And I'm sure it was a night you'll never forget baby. Who is she anyway? Another puckslut? We all know how much you love those!' As she looks over at me.

I just stood there, speechless. Is this girl serious?

'You're one to talk. Why don't you get the fuck out of here, and take your pack with you. You come in here like your running the place-' He says. He is furious.

'You're too cute boo. Call me when you get bored of her. You have my number' as she blows him a kiss, turns around and walks away.

'Fucking bitch.' He says under his breath as he walks up to me.

'I'm sorry you had to hear that.' I could tell that he was livid.

He punched the wall behind me.

'Hey hey! Its okay' as I cupped his face in my hands.

'I'm sorry Emma...' He stands there as I grab him and pull him into a hug. He buries his face on my neck.

'Way to fucking ruin the moment. Fucking bitch. Let’s head back babe' he says as he wraps one hand around my waist.

'Hey what's a birthday without a little drama, right?' I say trying to light up the mood.

He chuckles, tightens his grip around my waist and kisses my forehead.

After we head back, it turned out to be an awesome night.

Katie and Melanie were on the table dancing.

'Emma get up here!' They both said as they put out their hands signaling me to come.'

I'm too sober for this.

'Give me a sec' I head over to the table and chugged my drink. Okay now I'm ready.

I get on the table. We all start dancing. It was a blast.

I signal for Reilly to come. As he gets closer he scoops me from the table and slowly puts me down. Every inch of my body tracing his.

'Aren't you in a good mood.' He says.

'I am. I've also had a little too much to drink' as I stumble as he grabs me, as the room was spinning. I grab on for dear life. I think this was the first time he had seen me drunk.

'Woah. Okay missy, let's get you some water.'

I pout.

'No pouting.' He quickly kisses me.

'Yeah. I think I'm done for the night. I might just have that cranberry juice now.' I laugh. Then I remember.

'Oh crap! I totally forgot about the cake in the fridge. Damn it!'

'Aw you bought me a cake?' As I sit on his lap.

'Of course! It totally slipped my mind.'

'How about after the club we can head over to your place and have it there. I'm sure they're all starving.'

'Great idea!' I give big smile. He puts his hand on my knee and stares at it.

'Your knee is looking better'

'Yeah it's pretty much healed. On heels it bothers me a little bit but it's not a big deal.'

He laughs 'Why are you wearing heels then?'

'Because its been a while and who doesn't love heels?!' I kiss him on the cheek.

'Guys they're going to be closing soon, we should get going.' Brad said.

'Brad where have you been? I missed you!'

'Oh you know, just doing what I do best' he says as he winks.

'You're trouble you know that...'

'I know, but they don't' I shake my head, and push him a away.

Reilly pulled me up from the couch.

'Gahd! You're so heavy!' Clearly exaggerating.

'You're such an ass.'

He laughs.

'Let's go.' Clearly failing to keep a straight face.

We meet everyone outside.

'I’m starving!' Katie says.

'Do you guys want to come at our place and order some food? I still have the cake in the fridge.' I suggest.

'Cake! Yes! Let's go!' Danny says.

'Cake cake cake cake' Reilly whispers in my ear. I start blushing and my heart was beating out of my chest.
