Afterwards, a good amount of people decided to stopped by the apartment. We were all starving and we all decided to order some Chinese food.

Knock knock.

'Foods here!' Katie says.

'I got it!' I said as I quickly headed for the door.

'Oh no you don't.' I turn around and Reilly takes out money from his wallet and hands it over to the delivery guy.

'Thank you. Have a good night.' he says to the delivery guy as he closes the door.

'I said I got it, it's not that big of a deal' I snap as I walk away.

'Woah’ he says as he grabs my arm. ‘What’s wrong with you?’

‘Nothings wrong...I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to snap.’

‘Its okay. It happens. Can you please stop apologizing for everything!?

‘I’m so-’ I stop myself. He chuckles.

‘When I'm not around, you can pay.'

'That's not fair.'

'Get over it' He gives me a peck and we head towards the living room.

‘We can talk about this another time.’

‘Yeah yeah’ He bumps me.

After the food was gone, I head towards the fridge and grab the cake. I put a few candles on top of the cake just because.

'Red velvet?! How did you know?' He looks at me.

'Wild guess!' I said sarcastically.

'Candles? So cute! ' Mark says as he starts laughing.

‘Shut up Mark!’ I say

Everyone starts singing their own version of ‘Happy Birthday’ and it was epic. Katie lights the candles.

'Now make a wish Reilly!' Katie said.

He closes his eyes and then blows the candles. As he finishes he looks at me and smiles. That smile left me breathless.

I started cutting slices and Katie handing them to people.

'And here's a big slice for the birthday boy!' I said as I handed it to him.

'This tastes delicious.' As he takes a huge piece with his fork and puts it in his mouth.

'Glad you like it' I said as I laughed.

'You should have some' he said with his mouth full.

'I will. I have my piece back here' as I reach behind me and grab the slice off the table, come around and slam it on Reilly's face. He froze.

I completely lost it.

'That's a good look for you Smitty!' Marchy said as everyone started laughing.

'Emma...' He didn't move. That made me laugh even more.

'Lighten up! It's your birthday. What do you expect...'

I tried to stop laughing but I couldn't. I put my hand over my mouth. Tears were running down my face.

'I'm going to get you for this.'

'Let's get you cleaned up' He follows me into the bathroom. He looks at himself in the mirror. I calmed down.

'What a waste! It was a great piece of cake. You really should have tried some.'

'I'll try some right now' as I began kissing him. I took some frosting from his cheek and worked my way to his lips. He grabs me and rubs his face against mine.

I was struggling to get out of his grip.

'Aw no! Don't do that! Its so sticky!'

'That's what she said.'

'So original.' I playfully slap him.

'Lighten up! Its just a little frosting...' He says with a smirk on his face, clearly mocking me.

He kisses me again.

'Let's get you cleaned up, shall we?' I grab a towel and wet it and carefully start to clean his face.

I start to wipe his eye.

'Ah!' I freeze.

'I'm just messing with you' he says as he laughs.

'You're an ass!'

I tie my hair and start to wash my face. As I grab the towel and wipe my face, I feel Reilly getting closer from behind, placing his hands on my waist and starts kissing my neck. I turn around and put my hands around his neck as he lifts me and sits me on the edge of the sink. Our lips moving in sync. He slowly pulls away and just stares at me.

'Tonight has been perfect. Thank you for everything. I'm so lucky to have you in my life. You mean the world to me...'

I started tearing up. I was not expecting this at all. I cup his face with both my hands and pull him towards me as our foreheads touch. I then stare into his eyes.

'You deserve it babe. I love you' was all I could say.

'I love you more' as he wiped my tear.

'That's not possible' as he gives me another kiss.

There was a knock on the door. Shit.

‘Coming!’

I quickly jump off the sink.

'Let's get out of here.' He says as he grabs my hand and head towards the couch.

'So, what do you guys want to so tomorrow? Kevin wanted to do something with all of us.' Reilly's says.

'We have practice until 1pm but then we can grab lunch and do something afterwards?' Adam says

'Maybe we can all come to your practice and then stay after maybe play a game of good ol’ hockey like we did back in the day. What do you say?!' Danny suggests.

Reilly starts laughing.

'Let's do it!' He says.

'Awesome! Okay we should head out. It's getting late and we have practice tomorrow morning.' Adam says as he gets up.

‘Guys what are we going to do with Jess?’ Mark brings it up as they get up.

“I don’t know yet. I mean Kev seems happy so I don’t want to ruin that for him or his perfect image of her. I’ll have a private talk with her though.’ Reilly says

‘We’ll figure this out tomorrow.’ I say. They agreed.

Danny and Mark were staying with Adam. And Katie went over as well.

'Night guys! Thank you so much for an amazing night!' I say

'Thank you missy! See you tomorrow!' Katie winks as she leaves. I chuckle.

I headed to the door with everyone else and said bye. I lock the door and as I turn around I see Reilly leaning against the kitchen wall with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face.

What is this guy up too?

'Reilly?' I ask suspiciously.

He slowly walks towards me and stops when he is a foot away from me. He cups my left cheek and exhales. He then quickly throws me over his shoulder as he turns and heads towards my room.

'Finally!' Was all he said as he shuts the door behind him.
