Royals

“Just jump, I’ll catch you.” Sidney instructed, he held out his arms waiting to catch her, Arabella took a deep breath before leaping off the horse and into his arms.
He put her down gently; she smiled and thanked him before walking towards her sister who was eyeing her, she raised an eyebrow at her sister wondering why she was staring at her.
“Cut the damsel in distress act Air.” Faelyn hissed, Arabella rolled her eyes, Fae had always been jealous of her when she wasn’t the one getting attention.
She pushed past her sister and walked over to Jeff who was discussing today’s activities with Sidney; she smiled sweetly at the both of them and listened in on the conversation. Faelyn had joined them, she had her arms crossed over her chest and was barely paying attention to a word they said.
“Faelyn?” Jeff asked gaining her attention; she shook her head snapping out of her thoughts, she looked at him confused, “Are you paying attention?” He asked.
“Of course.” She smiled, he eyed her carefully, she reassured him that she was listening and he continued talking, this time she actually paid attention.
Faelyn trailed behind Jeff as they walked through the village greeting many people they knew, she smiled at the people who were so eager to talk to her, and she enjoyed the attention she received. Her father was always so strict about leaving the kingdom and moments like these were rare, she enjoyed having people who were genuinely excited to meet her.
In the kingdom of Orion there were many people who stepped out of line, the Toews family is not to be disrespected, they ran the kingdom and had power. The people of Orion were either scared of their family or they always tried to be better than them, which wasn’t possible, no one’s better than royalty.
“Arabella come over here for a second.” Sidney called out; Arabella left her sister’s side and made her way over to Sidney who was standing with two girls.
She eyed them carefully, they had the faces of royals and the clothes of a peasant, she faked a smile at them as she cursed in her head about how pretty they were. She glared at the brunette closest to Sidney, she could tell by the way they acted towards each other that they were really close, and for some strange reason Arabella didn’t like it.
“Arabella this is Kamila and Kassidy.” Sidney introduced them, “And you two obviously know who Arabella is.” He added.
“Obviously Sid.” Kamila nudged him before bowing in front of Arabella.
“I hope my brother has been treating you well.” Kassidy spoke, Arabella’s heart leaped when she heard the word brother, they were siblings.
“He’s been such a gentlemen.” Arabella reassured, she looked over at Sidney and smiled, he chewed on his bottom lip nervously and looked over at Faelyn and Jeff who were off on their own.
“And my brother, how’s he been?” Kamila asked referring to Jeff, Jeff’s new job as the King’s stable boy was a big deal, Kamila and Jeff have been living on their own after their father’s death and Jeff really needed this to provide for himself and his younger sister.
“Oh Jeffrey’s been great, Faelyn really enjoys his company.” Arabella looked over her shoulder at her sister who was laughing over something Jeff had said, she shook her head and smiled to herself.
“Shall we get going?” Sidney asked, Arabella nodded and grabbed his hand; she pulled him along as she walked through the village leaving Jeff and Faelyn on their own.

Arabella dismounted the horse without Sidney’s help this time, her face was flushed, her hair a mess and her clothes a wreck after having such a wonderful time in the village. She practically had to beg everyone to stay a bit longer, she felt so free without any of her father’s restrictions; everything was so different in Neilath than it was in Orion.
Faelyn and Arabella said their goodbyes to Jeff and Sid, they hoped to be able to spend the rest of the day with them but they needed to head back to Neilath before it got dark. The sisters headed back to their palace as they spoke about today’s events, they had both had a lovely time in Neilath and were hoping to visit again soon.
Faelyn sat in bed not being able to fall asleep, all she could think about was how Jeff and his sister Kamila were all alone and had no family to support them. Faelyn had always been lucky to be born into a royal family, she never had to work for anything, she just got whatever she wanted because her father was King.
She threw the duvet off of her and straightened out her night gown before walking to her father’s room; she knocked on his bedroom door and waited for his signal to let her know to come in. Once she heard it, she slowly opened the door and walked in, Jonathan sat up rubbing at his eyes, he had been sleeping prior to her coming.
“Faelyn, is everything okay?” He asked concerned, he remembered all the nights she’d come running into his room terrified from her nightmares, she’d lay in his bed and fall asleep with her, because he was her father and he’d always protect her, she was too old for nightmares now.
Faelyn sat on the edge of his bed, she reassured her father that she was fine and explained to him what was bothering her. She told him about Jeff and Kamila and how they were on their own.
“I was wondering if they could stay with us, Jeffrey could continue to be our stable boy and help out with other things and Kamila can help Arabella and I. They could be our servers, Adelaide is getting too old, and Kamila would be perfect to replace her.” She explained.
“Faelyn I don’t know.” Jon sighed.
“Please daddy.” She made her famous pout that had always helped her get her way, Jon sighed again giving in, he never could say no to that face.
“I’ll talk to them both in the morning, now get some rest.” Faelyn squealed excitedly and ran over to hug her father; she kissed his cheek before running off back to her room.

Jake walked up from behind his wife and wrapped his arms around her waist, “We finally have some alone time.” He whispered pulling her closer.
Jake had been so busy lately trying to keep everything under control he didn’t have any time for Jules, after their last war against the kingdom of Ero things had been very hectic. He had been busy visiting the families of the men who passed away during the war; he was also trying to keep the people of his kingdom calm and had to reassure that everything was under control.
“I’ve missed you.” Juliana sighed; she spun around facing her husband and hugged him tightly, he wrapped his arms around her and lifted her off the ground and held her bridal style as he walked towards their bedroom.
She cuddled into his chest missing the warmth he gave her; the cold nights alone without him were the hardest, Jake was constantly away and most nights she fell asleep sad and alone. She knew how hard things were for him, he lost a lot of great friends during the war, and although he never showed it, she knew it was severely affecting him.
She leaned up kissing along his jaw line; she smirked to herself as she noticed how excited he was getting, she latched her lips onto his neck just long enough not to leave a mark, he groaned under her touch, they were both eager to finally have a moment to themselves.
He reached their room, opened the door and kicked it shut behind him; he gently placed Jules down before kicking off his shoes and crawling on to the bed. He hovered over her as she lay under him staring up at the man she loved dearly; he leaned down pressing his lips to hers, he pulled away quickly and then pressed them back to hers, he did this over and over again teasing her.
She grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him close to hers, she locked her lips with his, this time he didn’t pull away. She began unbuttoning his shirt as their lips moved in sync; her body began to heat up as her excitement grew with every button that became undone.
Jules had enough of the teasing and the games, she was ready to strip him of his clothes and show him what exactly he missed, and just as she was about to she was interrupted when their bedroom door flew open.
Beau cursed as he realized what he had just walked in on, he closed the door giving his father and step mom a few minutes to compose themselves before he told them the news. He heard his father let him know they were both decent, he walked back in and apologized.
“What’s going on?” Jake asked, it wasn’t like Beau to just burst in their bedroom unless it was important.
“Your daughter is sleeping with king Toews.”
