Still There For Me

The flight back to Pittsburgh was silent. I didn't get looked at or even touched. I don't blame him, he was pretty devastated at the outcome. Thankfully when we headed home no one was there to take pictures. I know if someone was there he really would have been pissed and probably punch something. I just got in and let him drive home to see our kids.

When we pulled up the driveway I noticed Kylie at the window looking outside and getting excited. Once we got out of the car we didn't even worry about our bags and just went in to see our babies. Kylie instantly jumped on me and screamed. "Hi baby!" I cooed, loading her with kisses. The dogs were jumping up on my legs as well, "hello to you too my babies."

"Daddy!" she yelled, holding out her arms and leaning over to him.

"Hi princess," he said in a positive voice. I knew this little face could always make her smile. "Where's Ty?"

Just then Trina walked downstairs holding him, even he had a huge smile on his face, and was clapping his hands. "Hi my little man! Mommy missed you!" When she gave him to me he attacked me with slobber and I didn't even care. I got my coat off while Sidney went to get the luggage and I got to talk to the ladies.

"How's he doing?" Trina asked, almost afraid to.

"We've barely spoke, let's put it that way," I replied, putting Ty on the counter and watching him sit up.

"Sounds like Sid."

"I'm glad the kids were this excited to see him when we got home because I know that put him in a better mood."

"I can tell you now, he is going to be like that for a while," my mom said making me a tea.

"I'm not looking forward to that at all, but what can ya do?" I sighed.

He came through the door for the final time and came in to join us. He made a funny face at Ty trying to make him smile and went in the fridge for an apple. Nobody mentioned or asked about the weekend , knowing it would be a very sensitive topic for him. For the rest of the day we just enjoyed being in their company and the kids.

**One Week Later**
Sidney has been at the gym more than ever trying to get his mind off of things and improving his body. I've been handling things like normal, taking care of the kids and the house while he's training for most of the day. And when he's not training he's getting massages by Alexia. I've been a very tolerable of her but I'm getting to the last straw.

I was walking by the relaxation room with a laundry basket while the kids were napping and I could hear them talking about the stupidest stuff. I really don't like her and I want to know what her deal is, why she comes back, and why all these players know her so well. I texted Vero and asked if I could go over once his massage is over. I leant in and saw Sid naked on the bed with a towel over him and her rubbing him down. It definitely made me jealous.

"Sid, I'm going over to Vero's for some tea, can you watch the kids?"

"When are you going?"

"After your massage is done."

"Sounds good," he held a thumb up.

"I'll take longer, don't worry," she said to him in a sexy voice, loud enough for me to hear. I just rolled my eyes and finished distributing the laundry.

As soon as that hoe was out of my house I sped to Vero's house, ready for some dirt. I can trust what she says so I'm going to stick with it. She's so cute now that she's pregnant. We got settled down and talked about this and that. Whenthe time was right, I brought it up.

"So you'd be the perfect person to tell me about this girl. Who is this Alexia woman?" Her eyes grew wide and she nearly choked on her tea. "Is she that bad?"

"How do you know about her?"

"We've run into her a couple times and now she's been at our house twice a day massaging Sidney. I don't know, I get a bad feeling about her."

"I don't blame you girl. She's been around the whole team, none of us women like her."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, she does give great massages and knows what she's doing, but she's been known to hook up with several NHL players. She'd massage someone, they'd recommend her to other players and so on and so forth. I would be worried if I were you."

"Why?" I asked, getting more nervous.

"She and Sid had a friends with benefits type thing quite a few years ago. Like I'm talking when he lived with the Lemieux's. They lasted a while ago and then he found out she was doing that with the teammates and they stopped. Then she left town and no one really heard of her until trades would happen and seasons would start."

"I'm literally sick to my stomach right now."

"I'm sorry, I was just being honest, you know I was."

"And I'm appreciative that you told me. I really need to talk to Sid about this."

"Have you talked about her before with him?"

"Sorta. Then he stopped talking about it with me and just left it alone."

"Oh my God. What a douchebag. I know she was hitting on my husband at one point and he almost lost his balls."

"I did?" Flower asked, walking by the room reading a magazine.

"Remember Alexia?"

"What the fuck man, why would you bring her up?"

"See?" Vero smirked. "I say bring it up with him and see what he says because she is psycho and doesn't care if the man is in a relationship, she will try to make her way in."

"I knew she was a slut."

"Have you seen her fake tits? Those scream whore, especially when she's a twig."

"Us curvy girls got it naturally," I winked.

After our little get together I went home to have that talk with Sidney. I wasn't looking forward to it at all but I knew it's what I needed to do. The kids were eating dinner and Sid had left a plate out for me. They were excited to see me, especially my smiley baby boy.

"I can feed him so you can eat and then give Kylie a bath," I suggested.

"Thanks, I want to make sure I get a good sleep for tonight."

Well after our conversation I don't think that it'll be a good sleep for him or myself.
We put the kids together and waited for our talk. He went to his office for a bit and came to join me in bed to watch some TV. He seemed to be in a good mood so now would be the best time. Plus it's not like I'll see him tomorrow anyway since he has a huge training day.

"You look puzzled, what's up?" he asked, laying on his side and supporting himself on his elbow.

"I just have something to ask you. Do you think you'll keep having Alexia do your massages?"

"Yeah, why not?"

"I'm just wondering because it doesn't seem like that's the only thing on her mind. I think she wants to hook up with you again."

"Again? What do you mean again?"

"I know the truth about you two and your past together."

"What?"

"I know you used to be friends with benefits when you used to have her massage you," I raised an eyebrow.

"How?"

"Vero." He hung his head low, obviously feeling a little embarrassed about his past. He used to be so against stuff like that. "You don't have to be upset with me Sidney."

"I feel like I should. Your probably disgusted that I did that."

"Hey, I'm not one to judge, plus I know that everyone has a past they aren't proud of. I'm not mad about any of this, I'm just saying I don't feel right about her coming back and trying to get close to you again."

"It's all professional business though."

"It doesn't look that way to me. Plus I know she has hooked up with married men and even though you're not married I know she would still go for you. Plus she completely disregards me and forgets about my existence in your life."

"I don't think that at all. She just doesn't know you yet."

"And she hasn't put forth the effort to. I've welcomed her to our home and tried to make her feel comfortable and she literally sluts around our house. I don't want our kids seeing that."

"You're over analyzing the situation," he shrugged.

"No. I don't think that at all. I see when girls do catty things, all girls see it."

"Well that's not it and you have nothing to worry about it."

"Can we please try and find you someone else to see? It's really upsetting me and making me uncomfortable."

"Of course, I'll keep my eyes out and you do too and we'll see where it goes from there but until then I'm going to continue to have her." He threw his arm around me and comforted me.

"Deal."

I call bullshit on this one. Guess I have to take matters into my own hands.
