Chapter 22

A few days later, the Detroit Red Wings were battling the San Jose Sharks in Detroit; it's in the first period, with the score 0-0.
The Sharks ganged up on the Red Wing's goalie and began to shoot at him and passing the puck to each other, trying to get it to the back of the net. Meanwhile, Antti is justing standing in front of his net, looking at his teammates hard at work.
Next thing he knew, a Red Wing had the puck and was skating full speed towards him.
Antti quickly went to his goalie position, ready to save the puck.
Suddenly, the Red Wings player lost his balance and crashed onto the ice and slid quickly into Antti, slamming him, the net, and himself into the boards.
The medical team rushed onto the ice and checked on Antti and the Red Wings player.
"I'm okay, I'm okay," Antti told the medical people.
"Still, we're taking you off the ice to let you recover."
Antti sighed and skated off the ice and lumbered into the Red Wing's visitor medical room. He sat on one of the patient tables, taking off his helmet, and looked around the room, waiting for someone to check on him. Instead, he heard some footsteps and typing behind him.
Antti turned around and saw a Detroit Red Wings goalie bent down, typing on the computer part of the medical staff with an evil smile. He just looked at him with a bored look on his face, waiting to be acknowledged.
A few beats later, Antti cleared his throat. "Hello?"
The goalie stopped typing and looked at him with his cold, gray eyes. "Well, hello there."
"Uh...are you suppose to be on that computer?" Antti nodded towards the computer.
"Oh, don't mind me, just pretend I'm not here." He went back to typing.
Antti leaned closer to the computer, glancing at the screen. "Are you...breaking into--"
"Shu, shu, shu, shu! Don't, don't--" The goalie covered the screen as best as he could with his hands. "You are not suppose to know about this!"
"What are you doing? You're gonna get in trouble like that."
"Heh, no I'm not," the goalie scoffed.
"Why do you think that?"
"Because I'm the Master of the EHP." He smiled at Antti for a moment, then slapped his forehead. "Dang it, why did I say that! Now everyone knows that the EHP is back! Ugh!"
"EHP..." Antti thought for a moment, remembering hearing that before. "Evil Hockey Players' Society, right?"
"Yes...."
"And what's your name?"
The goalie crossed his arms. "Why do you need to know?"
"Mm, okay, okay." Antti raised his hands up.
The goalie turned back to the computer.
Antti leaned over to see the back of the goalie's jersey. "So you're evil...Howard?"
"Jimmy...Howard."
"Thank you for that."
Antti eyed the computer. "You shouldn't be on the computer, though."
"Who are you to say that I'm not suppose to be on the computer?"
"You want to take over the NHL, right?" Antti asked, remembering what Tommy told him.
"Whadda think?"
"I take that as a yes. But the NHL is perfect the way it is and does not need you to interfere." Antti shook off his blocker and sprayed water at the computer, shutting it down.
Jimmy straightened up quickly with a shocked look at his face. "The computer..." He turned to Antti, who was calm. "You ruined it...."
"Better to buy a new one than you hacking into it."
"Ooo...Jimmy narrowed his eyes. "...why did you..." He looked around for a moment then back at Antti. "Where did you get the water from?"
"Myself."
Jimmy made an odd look. "Wha?"
"I have water powers."
"What? But..."
Footsteps began echoing closer towards the room.
"I think you better get back to the ice," Antti told Jimmy.
"I should... But we'll meet again...soon." Jimmy stormed out of the room as best as he could with his skates.

After the game, Antti called Brian through his intercom and told him to meet him with Tommy.
A few minutes later, the three of them were gathered together in the NHL HQ's basement.
"What is it, Antti?" Brian asked Antti.
"I found out something really bad...."
"The EHP, right?" Tommy asked. "Something bad here always connects to the EHP."
"Yea, they're-they're back."
"Back?" Brian stared at Antti with huge, brown eyes.
"Yes, I met up with the Master, who was trying to hack into the NHL through the medical room's computer--"
"What were you doing in the medical room?" Brian asked.
"Some Red Wings player crashed into to me, so I was sent there."
"You're fine, right?"
"Yea, I am...I didn't want to go, but I had no choice but to."
"I knew this day would come," Tommy commented, "that someone would find the EHP again and revive it."
"I can't believe this," Brian muttered. He raised his voice. "Who's the Master?"
"Jimmy Howard," Antti replied.
"Jimmy...Howard..." Tommy got up from his chair and walked over to his oversized computer screen and looked up Jimmy's name.
Jimmy's face and information came up on the screen.
"He is the player on the Red Wings that has their powers and yes he is the Master of the EHP," Tommy said, looking at the screen.
"Does he have any sidekicks?"
Tommy typed something on the keyboard and the greenish-blueish screen changed to four pictures showing each a face on the top with yellow text below each picture. "Yes he does..."
"Oh no..." Brian placed his hands on his forehead. "How many?"
"Three. Not including himself."
"I only have two..."
Tommy faced Brian. "Well, there are more players with powers out there, Elliott."
"Yes, that is true."
"Don't worry, everything'll turn out fine. I'll keep an eye out on them and contact you just in case they do something...bad, y'know know what I mean. But now that you're all aware of the EHP, look out for them as well."
"Who else is part of the EHP?" Antti asked.
Tommy quickly looked at the screen then back at them. "Bishop, Ovechkin, and Price."
"Ben Bishop, Alex Ovechkin, and Carey Price," Brian clarified.
"Oh... Well, now we know to look out for them," Antti said.
"Yes, and don't forget to tell your buddy Kane about this, too," Tommy told Antti.
"I won't forget." Antti stood up. "I should get going."
"Same here." Brian also stood up. "Thank you, Tommy."
"Anytime. Good night."
Antti and Brian exited the room.
