Hello Again

The Hangover

“Ugh,” I groaned opening my eyes. My sheets were a mess, I don’t know where my shoes are, I’m in the dress that I wore last night, my hair is half out of it’s pony tail and I have an earring mark on my cheek. Looking around the room I noticed empty cups, spilled alcohol on my nightstand, and empty bottles everywhere. This is a sight for sore eyes. After I did my bathroom routine, I walked into the living room where everyone else was lounging. It looked like a bomb went off in here. Mack and Brandon were on the floor, Mack’s face nuzzled into his armpit. Nat and Tyler Brown were on the couch together and Sarah was cooking some breakfast.

“It looks awful in here,” I groaned. Nat looked up and fell back down, “it’s too bright in here.” “At least I’m not the only one who fell asleep in their clothes from last night,” Mack laughed, sitting up and remembering she was wearing a skirt. “That’s exactly what I need to see this early in the morning, Mack’s kooka,” Nat laughed. “We’re seeing Mack’s kooka? I wanna see!” Brad laughed, walking in.

“Where’s your blushing bride?” Sarah asked, placing pancakes on the counter. “Oh she got a great work out last night,” he chuckled, wiggling his eyebrows. “On the stripper pole or with you?” Nat winked. “With me- wait what!?” “She took a good twirl on the stripper pole last night,” I laughed. “And no one took pictures!?” “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” Sarah winked, handing him a pancake. “Oh, God bless you Sarah, always the responsible one making food.” “Responsible!? She was the one paying the strippers!” Mack laughed.

Brad looked over at her with a wide grin. “You dirty dog you! Does your husband know about this?” “Where is your husband?” I asked. “Puking in our bathroom. He hasn’t gone that hard in quite a long time.” “Well that’s what happens when you get hitched and have kids,” Brandon said sitting up, drinking some water. “Haha, that’ll be you in like a year you poor old bastard,” Browns laughed, throwing his shirt at Brad.

“It literally looks like a scene from the Hangover in here,” Brandon said, looking around. We all looked around then looked at each other, “quick, somebody check the bathroom!” “Oh, I’m on it,” Mack said, getting up and running to puke. “It would really be like the Hangover if someone was missing, wait, where’s Tyler?” Browns asked, getting an excited look on his face realizing it actually could happen. “Has anyone seen him this morning?” Brad asked. At this point Brad’s brother Jason walked in, so Sarah asked him, “hey babe have you seen Tyler?” “Yeah, he’s right there?” “Not that Tyler you dumbfuck, Segs,” Brad replied. “Oh, the most I’ve seen this morning is the bathroom floor, so no,” he chuckled. “Segs is missing!” Browns yelled out.

“What? No I’m not! I’m right here you idiot,” he laughed walking in, looking pretty clean compared to the rest of us. “Dude I thought we lost you,” Browns said. “Naw, I was just asleep in bed, I woke up to Nat puking in the bathroom next to my room so I thought I’d come out and see what's up. Where’s Jamie?” “She’s passed out in bed,” Brad replied. “Oh nice,” “There’s always that one friend who is too hungover in the morning and sleeps all day and Jamie is that friend. You know how to pick em pal,” Brandon laughed. “I’m just impressed she knew what she was doing on the stripper pole,” Mack said. “It’s Jamie, she probably has one in her room,” Nat replied, “she is kinky that way.” Brad, Tyler and myself all looked at each other and started laughing. “Oh my God she does!” Browns laughed. “Good job bro,” Jason high fived him, earning an unimpressed look from Sarah.

“What time is our flight home tonight?” she asked. “6, and it’s 2 now so we gotta start getting ready now,” I moaned. “It was so much fun, I wanna stay,” Brandon frowned, holding onto the bar. “We can come back, you guys all gotta get hitched too so we have at least 4 more trips back,” Brad winked. The boys gave him a look and the girls just smiled, I however rolled my eyes and walked away to go wake up Jamie.

I sat down on her bed and rubbed her back waking her up. The first thing out of her mouth was, “did you hook up with Tyler?” “No, and how did you know it was me?” “I can tell by your steps and good. I saw him carry you to your room last night,” “Wait what?” I really don’t remember this now. What the hell happened!? “Yeah, you were your sloppy self and he carried you to your room and took such good care of you,” “Really?” “Yeah. Like he tucked you in, gave you water and bread to sober you up and he helped you when you got sick in the middle of the night. He was so good with you.” “Oh, I don’t remember that.” “I’d hope so, you were embarrassing,” she giggled. “Oh shut up. Did he hook up with anyone last night?” “No, no, he was all over you last night and you were pretty into it.” “Did he make a move?” “Nope, you rejected him but you still had fun. I doubt he would remember either tho, you both were pretty drunk.”

“Oh, okay. By the way, we gotta be out of here in like 2 hours,” “Ugh, do I have to get out of bed?” “Yes. Do you want me to get someone to rub their bare ass in your face?” “No!” “Then get up!” I tickled her. “Fine, I will, but I’m gonna puke so you should stop,” “That’s not the first time,” I winked. “Why do you always bring that up?” she laughed. “Because you puked on me and I am still your friend. That’s true friendship,” “You're right. And thanks for an amazing night last night, I really appreciate all of this,” she smiled. “Anytime, you two deserve it. I’m so happy for you two,” I said hugging her. “Babe! Shower! Now!” Brad yelled out from the bathroom. “I’ll leave you two alone,” I winked.

Walking out into the main hallway I bumped into Tyler and it was slightly awkward knowing what happened last night. “Hey Ty?” “Yup?” “I don’t remember about last night but I heard about it and I want to say I’m sorry and thank you for everything last night. I appreciate it.” “It’s okay, I understand. And I don’t remember much either so we’re fine,” “Okay good!” I laughed. He continued to walk down the hall and that was the most we talked for the rest of the day. Needless to say, the flight home will be a rough one with everyone being so hungover.
