AAOOOSC! Mini Stories!

"Happy Birthday, Shawzy!" Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews shout as they burst into Shaw's house, holding a white box with red ribbon on it.
Shaw, who is sitting on the sofa, has a surprised look as he sees his teammates unexpectedly come into his house. "Oh hey, guys!"
"Here is your present!" Patrick hands Shaw his present.
"Awwww...thanks, guys!" Shaw takes the present and looks at it; he shakes, guessing what's inside it.
"Open it up!" Toews claps excitedly.
"Okay, okay!" Shaw carefully pulls off the ribbon and takes the lid off. He digs into the tissue paper and pulls out a necklace device that looked like it was made for medical use. Shaw looks at it with confusion.
"So..." Toews smirks with Patrick.
"Aren't these those grandpa things?" Shaw had his head bend, looking at this two buddies.
"Yea, Life Alert? Why you ask?" Toews asks.
"Well..." Shaw looked down at his present. "...because why did you buy...?"
Toews and Patrick began to snicker, trying to hold back their laughter.
"Uh-oh," Shaw muttered.
"Just in case you fall...," Toews manages to squeak, "...and you can't get up...!"
Then Toews and Patrick began to burst with laughter; they walked out of the house with tears of joy in their eyes, holding onto their stomachs.
I'm not even twenty-five, yet I fall more times than an old grandpa..., Shaw thought to himself while looking at his new birthday present.
