It’s Christmas time. Jordan, James, and Morgan are sitting at the table talking about what to get each other for Christmas.

James - So baby is there anything special you want for Christmas?
Morgan - You guys don’t have to get me anything.
Jordan - Really?
Morgan - I have everything I could ever want. I have two wonderful guys in my life and two beautiful new babies. I love you two so much.
James - We know you do and we love you too. Right Jordan?
Jordan - Of course we do. You are such an important part of our lives.
Morgan - Aww, you two are so sweet.
James - We would be heartbroken if something happened to you.

Morgan gets up from the table and gives both James and Jordan a hug. She goes up stairs to check on the babies. As she’s checking on them she smiles and sighs knowing how perfect her life is now that they’ve come into the world. She decides to go take a nap. Jordan comes up stairs to check on Morgan. He finds that she is sound asleep on their bed. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her. He goes to sleep minutes later until later that night. A few days pass. James comes home with a bag for Morgan. He sits on the couch beside her.

Morgan - James? What’s this?
James - I know you said you didn’t want anything but I couldn’t resist. (Hands Morgan the bag) Here sweetie open it.
Morgan - (Opens the bag and sees a fleece blanket with horses on it. She smiles and gives James a kiss) Aww, thank you James.
James - So you like it?
Morgan - Of course I do. I’m going to go put it on my bed. I’ll be right back.
James - Ok

Morgan gives James a kiss and then goes up stairs. She goes into her bedroom and puts the blanket James got her on the bed. James comes up stairs and then comes up behind Morgan and wraps his arms around her kissing her neck. Morgan smiles and then sighs.

Morgan - This is a nice surprise.
James - Sorry I just wanted to spend some time with you.
Morgan - Aww, there’s nothing to be sorry about sweetie. I’ve enjoyed having you at home since the lockout started.
James - I’ve enjoyed spending time with you too and I’m sorry you and Jordan are having marriage problems again.
Morgan - I’m thinking it’s time to end things with him. He’s changed since the babies were born.
James - I’ve noticed it too. It’s like he’s been brainwashed to not love you anymore. Who would want your marriage to end?
Morgan - His brother Eric has treated me poorly since they found out about you and I. At least your family has come around and wants you to be with me.
James - I’m so sorry baby that your marriage is going to end cuz Jordan’s brother can’t handle the fact that you fell for me. I promise I would never hurt you.
Morgan - I’m going to go see him on New Years Eve since that’s our anniversary and if Jordan rejects me again I’m done with him. Then we can be together James.
James - Really?
Morgan - Of course James. You at least truly love me and that’s the kind of love I want.
James - You deserve to have a guy who will be your rock and love you like you deserve to be loved.
Morgan - (Smiles at James) Do you mean yourself?
James - (Smiles shyly) Of course I do. I think I could be that guy you need.

James sits on the bed and then grabs Morgan’s arm and pulls her on the bed beside him. He smiles when he and Morgan start to kiss.

Morgan - I love you so much right now James.
James - I love you so much too honey.
Morgan - Can we stay like this forever?
James - (Smiles) I would love that.
Morgan - I could stare into your beautiful eyes for hours.
James - And you are so beautiful.
Morgan - Do you really mean that?
James - Of course I do.
Morgan - I love you so much James.
James - I love you too baby.

They begin looking into each others eyes. They begin to kiss. They continue to kiss until they’re tearing each others clothes off James starts kissing other parts of Morgan’s body. Morgan begins to moan lightly. The sex continues until Morgan orgasms. James gets off of her when she lays her head on his shoulder. James wraps his arm around Morgan while they cuddle.

Morgan - James?
James - Yeah baby?
Morgan - I love you.
James - I love you too.
Morgan - If the season starts are you going to tell the guys that we’re together?
James - (Smiles) Why don’t you come to training camp with me if the lockout ends. Then we can tell them together. Since they’ll figure it out soon enough.
Morgan - I like that idea.
James - (Gives Morgan a kiss) I’ve really enjoyed spending time together today.
Morgan - So have I James.
James - I love you so much.
Morgan - I love you too.
James - You hungry at all for lunch?
Morgan - Sure, lets go out.

James and Morgan get dressed. Morgan calls Leslie to see if she can come over and babysit while her and James go out on a lunch date. Leslie arrives a short time later and then Morgan and James leave to have some lunch. As they’re eating they start holding hands. Just then Sid and Geno see James and Morgan being a little more then just friendly. They come over to the table and start picking on James being with Morgan.

Sid - (Laughs) Guess the rumors are true.
Geno - Lazy got girlfriend.
James - Ha ha very funny you two.
Sid - When did this start?
James - A month or two ago.
Sid - So I take it your marriage has gone to hell?
Morgan - You have no idea Sid.
Sid - Sorry you and Jordan are having issues.
Morgan - It was bound to happen since we got married too soon.
Sid - As long as you two are happy we’re ok with it and glad you didn’t move to Carolina.
James - (Laughs) Ok Sid back off she’s my girl.
Sid - (Laughs) I’m not to going steal her from you. Kayla would kill me if I cheated on her.

Just then Morgan’s cell phone rings.

Morgan - Excuse me guys I need to take this. I’ll be right back.

Morgan gets up from the table and goes outside to answer her phone.

Leslie - Sorry to bother you while you’re on your date with James but I can’t get JJ to go to sleep.
Morgan - There should be a stuffed animal in the nursery that has James’s scent on it. Put it in his crib and he’ll go to sleep.
Leslie - Wow, ok that worked. He must like the smell of his daddy.
Morgan - You should see the two of them when they’re cuddling together.
Leslie - Aww, you’ll have to take a picture and send it to me. Being a father sure has changed him hasn’t it?
Morgan - It sure has. He has become so sweet lately. He just basically told Sid and Geno that I’m his girlfriend.
Leslie - Aww, so are you two officially together now?
Morgan - I would like to think so since my marriage is close to ending.
Leslie - I’m so sorry. I was hoping you and Jordan were going to fix things.
Morgan - I’m going down to see him on New Years Eve and if he rejects me again it’s over.
Leslie - I’m going to let you get back to your date with James.
Morgan - Ok, I’ll talk to you when we come home.

The girls hang up. Morgan goes back to finish her date with James.

James - What’d Leslie want?
Morgan - She couldn’t get JJ to go to sleep.
James - You told her to give him his stuffed animal right?
Morgan - Sure did
James - You ok honey?
Morgan - I’m just tired.
James - Then lets go home so you can take a nap. You look kind of pale.
Morgan - I’ve been feeling weird since this morning.
James - Did this start after we had sex this morning?
Morgan - I think so. So I think I maybe pregnant.
James - Don’t worry baby. We’ll worry about that when the time comes. Lets go home so you can rest.
Morgan - Ok

James goes and pays for lunch and they head for home. On the way home James takes a hold of Morgan’s hand and tells her how much he loves her. They get home and Morgan tells James she’s going to go lay down. James tells her that’s fine and that he’ll join her. Leslie leaves and then Morgan and James go upstairs. They go into James’s bedroom and lay down on his bed. Morgan lays her head on James’s chest and goes right to sleep. James wraps his arm around her, gives her a kiss, and then goes to sleep till later that night. A few days later Morgan goes down to Raleigh to spend a couple days with Jordan but her visit goes badly after only a day there. She goes back to Pittsburgh in tears hoping James is at home. For the rest of the day James tries his best to comfort Morgan. The next day Morgan has divorce papers filed. Now Morgan and James can finally be together. It’s now Morgan’s birthday.
