It’s a week before training camp for the Penguins for the 2007-2008 season. Missy & Jordan are snuggling on their bed. Missy is also a week away from her due date.

Jordan - I love you honey.
Missy - I love you too.
Jordan - Hard to believe we’re going to have a baby very soon.
Missy - (Smiles) I know and I’m looking forward to it.
Jordan - (Smiles) Me too honey.
Missy - Why don’t you go get us something to eat.
Jordan - Sure I can do that honey. Will you be ok here by yourself?
Missy - I should be.
Jordan - Ok I’ll be back soon.

Jordan leaves to get dinner just then Leslie comes over

Leslie - How you feeling?
Missy - I’m ok
Leslie - Aww, nervous about the baby?
Missy - A little bit and I’m not sleeping that well.
Leslie - Aww, hon, that’s your body teaching about the sleepless nights you’ll have once the baby comes.
Missy - I don’t think it’ll be much longer. Trying to hold out till Jordan’s birthday.
Leslie - Aww, that’d be something special if your baby comes on Jordan’s birthday. Hope Jordan has been taking care of you.
Missy - He sure has been.
Leslie - Aww, he really does love you doesn’t he?
Missy - Yeah he does and I love him too.
Leslie - Have you guys picked out a name for your baby?
Missy - No since we never found out the sex of our baby.
Leslie - Aww, that’s right. I forgot about that.
Missy - How are things with you and Marc?
Leslie - Just fine he wants me to come to New York and spend time with him.
Missy - Aww, you should go.
Leslie - I’m going to once the season starts.
Missy - Aww, I knew you two would end up together.
Leslie - Hey you ok hon?
Missy - Yeah I’m just sore from my bed rest.
Leslie - Aww, sounds like you should get Jordan to give you massage.
Missy - That sounds really nice.
Leslie - I would go crazy having to lay in bed all day.
Missy - I just get up long enough to use the bathroom and shower. Plus Jordan stays with me all day.
Leslie - Aww, so you two snuggle all day?
Missy - Yeah we do.
Leslie - Aww, well here’s a little something for your baby that you can open when Jordan comes back.
Missy - You didn’t need to get us anything.
Leslie - I know but I wanted to. I’m going to go so you can rest.
Missy - I’ll call you tomorrow.
Leslie - Ok

Leslie leaves as Missy falls asleep until Jordan comes back.

Jordan - (Lays down on the bed beside Missy and wraps his arms around her) I’m back honey.
Missy - (Wakes up and sees Jordan laying next to her) I’m sorry for falling asleep.
Jordan - It’s ok honey. I know you haven’t been sleeping that well lately.
Missy - I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too honey.
They eat their dinner and start snuggling.
Missy - Thank you for taking care me.
Jordan - You’re welcome honey.
Missy - There is something else you could do for me.
Jordan - What honey?
Missy - I’m really sore from having to be on bed rest.
Jordan - Would you like for me to give you a massage.
Missy - I would really like that.

Jordan gives Missy a massage until she eventually falls asleep. He smiles as he gives her a kiss, puts the blanket over her, and goes to sleep till the next morning.

Jordan - (Wakes up and whispers in Missy’s ear) I love you baby.
Missy - (Wakes up and sees Jordan smiling at her) I love you too.
Jordan - You feeling any better baby?
Missy - Yeah I’m not as sore as I was. I’m just really tired.
Jordan - Then go back to sleep honey.
Missy - Only if you stay here with me.
Jordan - Of course I will baby.
Missy - I don’t think it’s going to be much longer till this baby comes.
Jordan - You’ve been extremely brave through this whole thing.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet. I’m hoping my body can hold out a few more days so it comes on your birthday.
Jordan - I meant it baby. Now that would make for a very special birthday.
Missy - I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too honey.

They begin to kiss until Missy falls asleep in Jordan’s arms. A couple days pass and it’s now the day before Jordan’s birthday.
