Fast-forward to the night of Jordan’s 18th birthday. Missy and Jordan had just had dinner. Missy decides they’ll walk back to her apartment so that she can show Jordan the skyline. They go over to the overlook and put their hands on the railing.

Jordan - Thank you for such a nice birthday.
Missy - You’re welcome honey.
Jordan - This city is amazing at night.
Missy - I told you the skyline is beautiful at night.
Jordan - It’s not the only thing that’s beautiful.
Missy - Aww, you mean me right?
Jordan - Of course I do.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet.
Jordan - (Puts his hand on Missy’s) I love you.
Missy - You do?
Jordan - You bet I do honey. I’ve been in love with you since the day we met. I’ve been too scared to say it cuz I didn’t think you loved me.
Missy - But I do love you Jordan.
Jordan - You do?
Missy - Of course I do. I knew the day I met you I wanted to be with you. And now that you’re here with me I couldn’t be happier.

Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close. They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. They continue to kiss for awhile. They then head back to Missy’s apartment. They hold hands on the way home. They get to her apartment and lock the door and then head to Missy’s bedroom. They get under the covers and begin kissing again. They continue kissing until they are making love to one another. This lasts for the rest of the evening. Missy lays her head on Jordan’s shoulder but doesn’t go to sleep. Jordan wraps his arm around her.

Jordan - Thank you for such a nice birthday.
Missy - You’re welcome honey.
Jordan - I love you baby.
Missy - I love you too honey.
Jordan - Did you want me to stay here with you?
Missy - Of course I do. (Hears a knock at the door)
Jordan - Tell her to leave.
Missy - Don’t worry I’ll get rid of her.

Missy and Jordan throw something on to sleep in. Missy goes to the door to see what Leslie wants.

Leslie - What’s been going on in here?
Missy - Just snuggling with Jordan is all.
Leslie - You sure cuz I thought I heard a little bit of sex noises. (Sees Missy blushing) OH MY GOD!! You two had sex tonight didn’t you?
Missy - Well maybe
Leslie - What happened tonight to lead to that?
Missy - He told me that he loves me.
Leslie - Aww, then I can’t blame you then for what happened tonight.
Missy - Even had our first kiss tonight too.
Leslie - Aww, you’re big time in love with him aren’t you?
Missy - Of course I am. I love that boy so much. I want to marry him one day.
Leslie - Aww, maybe he’ll propose to you soon.
Missy - You don’t think we’re rushing things?
Leslie - Of course not. You two were in love with each other when you met so your thought of marriage doesn’t surprise me.
Missy - Though I should be getting ready for bed.
Leslie - Aww, go be with your man. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.

Leslie goes home. Missy closes the door and locks it. She goes back into the bedroom to join Jordan. She lays down on the bed beside Jordan. She snuggles up to Jordan and goes right to sleep. Jordan sees that she is sound asleep. He puts the blankets over them, wraps his arms around Missy, and goes to sleep till the next morning.

Missy - (Wakes up and gives Jordan a kiss) I love you Jordan.
Jordan - (Wakes up to see Missy smiling at him) I love you too honey.
Missy - It was kind of nice sleeping with you last night.
Jordan - (Smiles) It sure was. I loved getting to hold your beautiful body.
Missy - Just don’t be mad at me if I end up pregnant from last night.
Jordan - Why on earth would I be mad at you?
Missy - Not wanting a baby this soon.
Jordan - Honey, we’ll worry about that when the time comes. I could never be mad at you. I love you so much.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.
Jordan - You ok honey?
Missy - I must be coming down with the flu.
Jordan - (Feels Missy’s forehead) You are just burning up. Just stay here and rest. I’ll go get you some meds.
Missy - You don’t have to do that.
Jordan - I know but I don’t want you to be sick.
Missy - Aww, you are too good to me.
Jordan - It’s cuz I love you.
Missy - I love you too.

Jordan leaves to get Missy some meds. Just then Leslie comes over.

Leslie - Aww, hon what’s the matter?
Missy - I think I’m coming down with the flu.
Leslie - When did this start?
Missy - This morning
Leslie - OH MY GOD!! I think you might be pregnant.
Missy - I guess we’ll find out next week if I am or not.
Leslie - Aww, there’s nothing to worry about. Jordan loves you and that’s what matters.
Missy - I know he loves me and I love him too.
Leslie - I’m going to go so you can rest.

Leslie leaves and Missy goes back to bed. Short time later Jordan comes back with Missy’s meds. He finds her sound asleep. He lays down beside Missy and wraps his arms around her. Short time later he falls asleep. A few weeks pass. Missy gets over the flu. She gets told by her doctor that she isn’t pregnant. She goes home and tells Jordan the news.

Missy - Jordan? You home honey?
Jordan - In the kitchen babe.
Missy - We need to talk.
Jordan - Did I do something wrong?
Missy - Oh gosh no. I just wanted to tell you what I found out at the doctor.

Jordan comes out of the kitchen and sits down on the couch next to Missy.

Jordan - What’s wrong honey?
Missy - Please don’t be mad at me.
Jordan - Why would I be mad at you?
Missy - I’m not pregnant. (small tear rolls down her cheek)
Jordan - (Wipes the tear from Missy’s eyes) It’s ok honey. We can try again.
Missy - But my doctor said there may be a chance I can never get pregnant. (Starts to cry)
Jordan - (Wipes the tears from Missy’s eyes) Shh, honey it’ll be ok. If we can’t have a baby we can always adopt.
Missy - Really?
Jordan - Sure honey
Missy - Do you still love me?
Jordan - Of course I do. Come on honey lets go cuddle on our bed.
Missy - Ok

Missy and Jordan go to their bedroom, lay down on the bed, and start cuddling.

Jordan - (Caresses Missy’s face) I love you honey.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.
Jordan - You ok honey?
Missy - Just depressed about the news I got at the doctor.
Jordan - It’ll be ok honey. We’ll get through this.
Missy - Just promise me if I can’t get pregnant that you won’t ever leave me.
Jordan - Baby, I’m not going to leave you. I could never hurt you.
Missy - Do you mean that?
Jordan - Of course I do honey. One day I would like to have a family with you but it’s not important right now. I love you so much honey.
Missy - I love you too.
Jordan - How about I take you out tonight so you can get your mind off of the baby news you got. Especially since you’re leaving tomorrow with your filly.
Missy - I would really like that and I appreciate you comforting me. I love you so much Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too.

Jordan gives Missy a kiss. They get ready to leave for dinner. They arrive at the restaurant and find a table away from everyone. Jordan gives Missy a kiss. He takes hold of her hand and tells her how much he loves her as they wait for their food. Their food arrives. They eat and then talk for while. Jordan pays for their dinner and they head for home. Missy tells Jordan she is going to bed early since she has to get up early and head to Ohio with Something. Missy gets ready for bed. She lays down on the bed and is asleep minutes later. A few hours later Jordan comes to bed. He sees that Missy is sound asleep. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her. He falls asleep a few minutes later. It’s now the next morning.
