It’s now 4th of July weekend. Missy has Something entered in an elimination for the Mistletoe Shalee at The Meadowlands on Saturday, in New Jersey. She invites Leslie to go with her. She has made Leslie her assistant so she doesn’t have to all this horse stuff herself. They’re talking as they’re getting Something ready for her race.

Leslie - You ok hon?
Missy - I think I just miss Jordan.
Leslie - Aww, then call him after Something’s race.
Missy - I think I will.
Leslie - Aww, he’ll be happy to hear from you. Any chance of your relationship becoming more serious?
Missy - I hope so. I know we’ve only been together for a very short time but I think I’m falling for him.
Leslie - Aww, I’m not surprised. I think you fell for him the minute you met him.
Missy - He left me the sweetest text yesterday.
Leslie - Aww, what’d it say?
Missy - 'The day I met you I was alone and confused about how I felt towards myself. You opened my eyes and heart up, and showed me how beautiful life was. Now that I'm with you I couldn't ask for anyone better than you.'
Leslie - Aww, that is so sweet. That boy is in love with you.
Missy - I know he is. I look forward to the day we are together again.
Leslie - Aww

It’s time for Something’s race and she is back to her dominating form after her brief illness. She wins her elim by 5 ½ lengths. The following week she wins the final by 7 lengths. Missy and Leslie go to their hotel for night and will head for home in the morning. It’s the next morning and the girls head back to Pittsburgh. They stop at the farm Missy purchased with part of Something’s earnings and unload Something. The girls put Something in her stall and give her something to eat. Missy and Leslie then head for home. Fast forward to the first week of September and it’s now the night before Jordan comes to Pittsburgh. They are video chatting before bed.

Jordan - I really miss you.
Missy - I miss you too.
Jordan - Can’t wait to get there tomorrow so I can be with you again.
Missy - Can’t wait for you to get here either.
Jordan - You ok baby?
Missy - Yeah, I’m just really tired
Jordan - Then go to bed sweetie.
Missy - Sounds like a good idea.
Jordan - I’ll call you when I leave.
Missy - Ok
Jordan - Night sweetie
Missy - Night

Missy logs off her computer and take a couple of cold pills. She gets ready for bed. She puts on a t-shirt of Jordan’s to sleep in. She falls asleep a few minutes later. She wakes up that morning and cleans up her apartment for a few hours. She takes a shower, gets dressed, and then has lunch. She heads to the airport to pick up Jordan. His flight lands. He meets up with Missy. Missy jumps into Jordan’s arms. Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close. They go pick up Jordan’s bags, the then head to Missy’s car, and head for Missy’s apartment.

Jordan - Where did you want me to put my stuff?
Missy - You can either put it in my room or the guest room.
Jordan - Are you ready to start sleeping together or not?
Missy - I think we should wait till after your birthday.
Jordan - That’s what I was thinking too.
Missy - The bedrooms are down the hall.

Jordan takes his bags to the guest room and then joins Missy on the couch in the living room. They start snuggling on the couch.

Jordan - Sure nice getting to snuggle with you.
Missy - I’m enjoying this too.
Jordan - You’re so beautiful.
Missy - Aww, do you really mean that?
Jordan - Of course I do.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet. Are you ready for something to eat?
Jordan - I meant it. Sure baby.
Missy - Ok I’ll order something.

Missy orders pizza for dinner. She goes back over to the couch and snuggles with Jordan some more until Leslie knocks on the door. Missy gets up and gets the door. Jordan gets up to take a shower.

Leslie - Aww, nice seeing you two together again.
Missy - Yeah it is. Nice finally having him here.
Leslie - I bet it is. Something’s wrong isn’t it?
Missy - I just want to hear him say that he loves me.
Leslie - Aww, I’m sure he does love you.
Missy - Then why hasn’t said it yet?
Leslie - He’s just scared to say it. He’ll say it when he’s ready to.
Missy - Hope you’re right.
Leslie - Aww, I know I’m right. He wouldn’t be here with you if he didn’t love you. His birthday is next week isn’t it?
Missy - Yeah
Leslie - Take him out for a nice romantic dinner and take a walk so you can show him the skyline. I know if you did this he will tell you that he loves you.
Missy - That sounds like a good idea. He deserves it.
Leslie - Aww, you’re in love with him aren’t you?
Missy - Of course I am.
Leslie - I’m going to go I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
Missy - Night
Leslie - Don’t worry he’ll fall in love with you after next week.

Leslie leaves for her apartment. Jordan comes out of the bathroom, goes into his bedroom, and gets dressed. Missy is in the kitchen getting plates and glasses for dinner. Jordan comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her.

Missy - Now this is a nice surprise.
Jordan - Just wanted to come hold you some more.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet.
Jordan - I really like being with you again.
Missy - So do I.

They go over to the couch and start snuggling some more. The pizza arrives a short time later. They eat, watch TV for a while, and then they both go to bed.
