It’s the day before opening night for the Penguins and it also marks the start of Jordan’s rookie season. Missy is at the farm feeding Something her breakfast and giving her a bath when her cell phone rings.

Jordan - Hey babe, do you have any plans tomorrow night?
Missy - No, why?
Jordan - How would you like to spend your night at the hockey game?
Missy - Really? You want me there?
Jordan - Sure
Missy - Ok
Jordan - Why don’t you head back to the apartment?
Missy - What are you up to?
Jordan - It’s a surprise.
Missy - Well ok I’ll be there soon.
Jordan - Ok, I love you.
Missy - I love you too.

Jordan and Missy hang up and she heads back to their apartment. She gets there and unlocks the door and is surprised when she sees Jordan and the rest of the team there.

Jordan - Well babe do you like your surprise?
Missy - What’s this all about?
Jordan - Since we didn’t get to celebrate your big win two weeks ago I figured we’d do it now.
Missy - This is really sweet of you.
Jordan - You deserve it with all the hard work you’ve been doing with your horse.
Missy - Aww, thanks sweetie.

The party lasts for a couple hours. Everyone leaves and Jordan and Missy spend the rest of their evening cuddling on the couch watching TV. Missy tells Jordan she’s going to go to bed. Jordan says that’s fine and that he’ll be in a little bit. Missy gets ready for bed. She lays down on the bed and is asleep minutes later. A few hours later Jordan comes to bed. He sees that Missy is sound asleep. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her. He falls asleep a few minutes later. It’s now the next morning. Missy wakes up and sees that Jordan has already left for his game day skate. She decides to call Leslie.

Leslie - Hey, what do you need?
Missy - Would you like to go to the Pens game with me tonight?
Leslie - I would love to.
Missy - Great, Jordan invited me to the game tonight so I’ll text him to say to get two tickets for tonight.
Leslie - So I guess you’re officially a member of the Pens wives and girlfriends club.
Missy - I guess you’re right. Hope him and I are together for a very long time.
Leslie - Aww, I see you two being together for a long while. So is Something ready for the Breeders Crown?
Missy - I think so. I’m going to go out to the farm tomorrow and run her over the training track just so she can stretch her legs. You can come out and time her.
Leslie - Great, I’ve gotta head into work for a little while so I’ll talk to you later.
Missy - Alright, bye for now.

The girls hang up and then Missy sends Jordan a text telling him to get two tickets for tomorrow’s game cuz Leslie wants to come to the game with her. Jordan texts her back saying he’s got the tickets and will be home soon. Missy goes to take a shower and then gets dressed in her favorite black jeans and Pens t-shirt. She makes herself some breakfast and after she’s done eating she cleans up the apartment when Jordan comes home. Jordan walks up behind Missy and warps his arms around her.

Jordan - (Kisses the back of Missy’s and whispers in her ear) I love you babe.
Missy - (Sighs) I love you too.
Jordan - You look tired babe. Why don’t you go lay down before the game?
Missy - Only if you join me.
Jordan Of course I will.

Jordan and Missy go into their bedroom to take a nap before heading to the Pens game later tonight. Missy snuggles up to Jordan and goes right to sleep. Jordan wraps his arm around Missy and goes to sleep until he leaves later that afternoon. Missy wakes up a few hours later and sees Jordan has already headed to the arena to get ready for the game. Missy calls Leslie to see if she’s ready to go. Leslie comes over to Missy’s apartment. Missy grabs her hoodie, keys, and her cell phone. They leave for the arena and go to the will call place to pick up their tickets. They find their seats which are with the other Penguins wives are girlfriends. Missy introduces herself to them and tells them she dates Jordan. The other ladies are happy to know they have another member to the wives and girlfriends club. They’re all laughing and having a good time when Missy jokingly says that they need to fix Leslie up with one of the Pens so then she can join the club too. A few hours later the game ends with the Penguins beating the Islanders 3-0. Missy and Leslie make their way down to the locker room to wait for Jordan so they can tell him they’ll meet him at home. A while later Jordan comes out of the locker room and sees Missy and Leslie waiting for him. He smiles and gives Missy a kiss.

Jordan - It was nice having you at the game tonight babe.
Missy - It was nice relaxing for once.
Jordan - Did you drive here?
Missy - Yes, we did.
Jordan - So I guess I’ll meet you at home then.
Missy - (Smiles) I’ll see you at home.

Jordan gives Missy another kiss. Jordan’s teammates all laugh when they see Jordan and Missy kissing. They blush and then Missy and Leslie leave to the car so that they can go home. They find the car and then head back to the apartment. When they get there Leslie thanks Missy for a fun night out at the game. Leslie heads to her apartment. Missy goes inside to get ready for bed. As she’s getting ready for bed she sighs at the thought of her and Jordan being together for a long time. She gets into bed and goes to sleep. 45 minutes later Jordan comes home and gets ready for bed. He sees that Missy is sound asleep. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her. He falls asleep a few minutes later. It’s now the next morning. A few weeks pass and it’s another big night for the Something crew.
