Tonight is Something’s final race of the year. Missy is warming up Something prior to the Messenger final. Something is just floating over the track. Missy is very pleased with the way she was warming up. She takes Something back to the barn area. Her and Leslie get Something ready to head over to the paddock. A little while later they lead Something over to the paddock. They’re putting all her equipment on her. Call to post is played and the colts and the lone filly make their way onto the racetrack. Something wins by 10 ¾ lengths in a world record time of 1:49 flat. Missy runs onto the track to greet her filly. She hugs Something’s neck and leads her into the Yonkers winner circle. Something won 2 of the 3 legs of Pacing’s Triple Crown. She had a minor injury that caused her to miss the Cane Pace. Missy tells the reporter that Something will be shut down until March or April and she will be ready to face older foes. Missy finishes her interview and then heads back to the barn area. The other trainers come up to her and give her their congrats on having a great horse. She helps Leslie take off Something’s equipment and load it in the trunk. She then feels Jordan’s arms around her.

Missy - Jordan? What are you doing here sweetie?
Jordan - Did you really think I was going to miss your big night with your monster filly?
Missy - It’s really sweet that you came to New York to be with me.
Jordan - There’s no place I’d rather be then be with you. I love you so much.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.

They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss until Jordan offers to help the girls with Something’s equipment. Jordan lifts the heavy trunk and puts it into the trailer. Missy then gets Something all ready to be loaded onto the trailer. She leads Something out of her stall and leads her onto the trailer. Missy gives Jordan a kiss and tells him she’ll meet him back at home. Hours later they’re back in Pittsburgh. The girls stop at the farm to unload everything. Leslie helps Missy feed Something and they then head for home. Missy goes inside and takes her bags into the bed room. She finds Jordan sound asleep on their bed. She puts her bags down and then lays down on the bed beside Jordan. She wraps her arms around him and pulls him closer to her. She goes to sleep till the next morning. Jordan wakes up and gives Missy a kiss.

Jordan - (Whispers in Missy’s ear) I love you baby
Missy - (Wakes up to see Jordan smiling at her) I love you too.
Jordan - So nice having you at home for once.
Missy - I know you don’t like it when I’m not here.
Jordan - I’ve missed spending time with you.
Missy - Well since Something is done racing till spring we can have some much needed alone time.
Jordan - I would really like that. You don’t know how much I miss you when you’re not here.
Missy - Sure I do sweetie cuz when I’m racing Something I miss you too.
Jordan - Wanna go out on a date tonight?
Missy - I would love that.
Jordan - I have to head to practice. Will you be ok by yourself?
Missy - Sure I’ll be fine.
Jordan - Ok babe I’ll be home as soon as I’m done.
Missy - Ok

Jordan gives Missy and kiss and then gets ready to head to practice. Missy gets up and takes a quick shower, gets dressed, and then makes herself a quick breakfast. She eats and then cleans up the apartment until Jordan comes back. Jordan sneaks up behind Missy and wraps his arms around her. He kisses the back of her neck.

Jordan - (Whispers in her ear) I love you.
Missy - (Sighs) I love you too.
Jordan - Hard to believe we’ve been together for 5 months already.
Missy - I know and it has been wonderful.
Jordan - It sure has and maybe one day we’ll have that baby we’ve been wanting.
Missy - If we want to start trying again we should start soon.
Jordan - Well I don’t have a game for a few days so I’ll be home. So we can have that alone time we’ve been wanting.
Missy - I like the sound of that.
Jordan - You ok honey?
Missy - Just a little tired.
Jordan - Then lets go take a nap.
Missy - Sounds good to me.

They go into their bedroom and lay down on the bed. Missy snuggles up to Jordan and goes right to sleep. Jordan wraps his arm around Missy and goes right to sleep till later that night. They wake up and get ready to go out on their date. A few hours later they come home from their date. They go into their bedroom and lay down on the bed. They begin looking into each other eyes and begin to kiss. They continue kissing until they are making love to one another. This lasts for the rest of the evening. Missy lays her head on Jordan’s shoulder but doesn’t go to sleep. Jordan wraps his arm around her.

Jordan - I love you baby.
Missy - I love you too.
Jordan - You are so beautiful.
Missy - Do you really mean that Jordan?
Jordan - Of course I do. My heart skips a beat when I’m near you.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet.
Jordan - I mean it babe. Now just go sleep. You can barely keep your eyes open.

Missy is asleep a few minutes later. Jordan gives her a kiss and goes right to sleep till the next morning. Missy wakes up and gives Jordan a kiss.

Missy - (Whispers in Jordan’s ear) I love you so much Jordie bear.
Jordan - (Wakes up to see Missy smiling at him) I love you too.
Missy - Last night was amazing.
Jordan - It sure was.
Missy - I just have this feeling we’re so close to having that baby we’ve been waiting.
Jordan - Me too baby and if it doesn’t happen this time we’ll just keep trying until something finally happens.
Missy - (Starts to cry) And what if it doesn’t?
Jordan - (Wipes the tears from Missy’s eyes) Shh, don’t cry honey. I told you if you can’t get pregnant then we’ll adopt. We’ll get through this.
Missy - Will you still love me if I can’t have a baby?
Jordan - Of course I will honey. I would never hurt you like that. I will love you no matter what.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.

They begin looking to each others eyes and begin to kiss. They continue to kiss until Jordan gets up and gets ready to leave for morning practice. Missy rolls over and goes back to sleep for a few hours. Leslie then calls her to ask her if she would like to go out lunch. Missy says that’s fine since Jordan will be gone for most of the day. A few hours later the girls come back home from lunch. Leslie goes home while Missy goes into the bedroom to take a nap. Jordan comes home a little while later and finds Missy sound asleep on the bed. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. Missy wakes up and turns over so that she’s now facing Jordan. They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. They continue to kiss until they’re making love to one another. This lasts the rest of the afternoon until they fall asleep in each other arms until later that night. Over the next few weeks Missy and Jordan keep trying to make a baby and haven‘t been successful yet. It’s now around Christmas time and Missy hasn’t been feeling very good lately. It’s the moment to find out if Missy is pregnant or not
