Five Minutes For Fighting (Completed)

Caroline waked up to Michael snoring as she grabbed her phone from her nightstand. 7 am. She always woke up really early for christmas, she looked outside one of her windows. It was still snowing. No one was going anywhere. She slipped out of Michael's arms, kissing him on the cheek as she tip toed downstairs into the kitchen to make herself breakfast. "Hey there Early bird." She almost tripped backwards as she got startled. Brandon Dubinsky was in the Kitchen making himself an bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. "Hey uncle Brandon." She said going over to him and slipping under his arm. She had three different relationships with her Godfathers. Her and Marc were more like Brother and Sister since Marc never had one, Brandon was more like the Uncle she never had while Ryan was more like her second father she was grateful for all three of them. "Can you make me one?" She said softly so she wouldn't wake anyone up. "Yeah go grab a bagel from the freezer, I'll grab more bacon." They both went over to the huge Sub Zero her family had as she opened the Freezer Draw under the Fridge as Brandon opened the Fridge grabbing more Eggs and Bacon. They shut the Sub Zero quietly. As they put on the Wolf Range they had on top of the tucked in Wolf wide oven. "Whatcha guys doing?" Ryan said walking in. Ryan could smell food from a mile away. "Making breakfast, want an Bacon, Egg and Cheese?" Brandon said as Ryan nodded.

Brandon, Ryan and Marc always joked that they had to co parent Caroline and that it took hard work. "Did you do you're paper that you keep putting off, the one about Miracle?" Ryan said in his plaid robe, and boxers. "Yuup" She said lying. "You know we've known you since like you were 8, Marc longer you can't lie to us." Ryan said sitting down at their marble island. "I'll do it on the way to Vancouver." She said. Sometimes Coach Torts got her onto the bench during games to help him saying she was with the trainers. Since the Sound Tigers/Whale game was Cancelled. "Fine I'll sit next to you so I know you're doing it." Caroline nodded. "You do know you aren't my parents right?" Caroline said taking a big bite of her Breakfast Sandwich. The two laughed. They were an extension of her family. They were her family. "Well since your my daughter, then he is you're dad." Kyla said hugging Caroline as she took another bite of her breakfast. Caroline loved Kyla, she loved Brenna Brandon's new girlfriend and Lindsay Ruggles, Marc's girlfriend of like a billion years was practically her sister. She loved her little family. "So when are all three of you getting married?" Caroline said smirking as Brandon almost dropped the hot pan on his foot. Ryan looked down as Kyla looked at her newly minted engagement. "Let's not talk about this." Ryan and Brandon both said as Marc came into the room in his boxers. "What's going on?" Marc said as all four of them looked back at him.

Four hours later the whole house was together in the living room as everyone opened their gifts. Caroline getting exactly what she wanted a shit load of Del Zotto Ranger gear that Michael had gotten customized at the NHL Store, so if they were away from each other she had him close. A ton of clothes from her parents and even Taylor and Zach had sent her some really great clothes. The Whole team gathered together packing up their gifts as the snow stopped, her father and Coach Torts trying to get everyone's cars who weren't parked in their garage out of the snow. She put on a pair of her new black Lululemon leggings, her Del Zotto sweatshirt and her peacoat, reaching for her Uggs. She packed her suitcase and threw it down the stairs as it landed with everyone elses. "This pile looks like the one from the Parent Trap when Hallie is trying to get her duffel." Carl said smiling at Caroline it was their favorite movie. "Hallie move over." She said grabbing Carl's out of the pile and handing it to him. Grabbing her own in the process. "Thanks Annie." He said smirking as Michael came from behind her, his hands around her waist. "At least we're rooming together in Vancouver, we can finally have some alone time there." He said whispering in her ear as she grinned. "Yeah we will." She said reaching behind her to kiss him. "Please don't kiss in front of me." Brendan made a gross look. They both laughed. "OKAY thank you to you all for coming, all you're cars are out of the snow and they are running the heat now. Don't worry I cleaned the exhausts no one is dying, just get into your cars quickly it's freezing out there." Marcus said as they all ran outside into the snow getting into their respective cars. "Be right back." Caroline got out of Michael's G Wagon as Derek Stepan, Carl Hagelin and Brian Boyle looked miffed. She went back inside hugging her parents. "Love you guys." She said kissing them on the foreheads. "We love you get into Michael's car, love you." And with that the Rangers were driving down North Street in Greenwich heading back to the City to unload and have a quiet day until the Season restarted.

Vancouver here we come.
