Five Minutes For Fighting (Completed)

Caroline Thomas sat on the couch in the team's soho apartment bored out of her mind. "Move." Brian Boyle said as Caroline moved down, to make room for Brian. "Any news?" He said turning on NHL Network. "I highly doubt it." Caroline said sighing. "There is news that after about 118 days the lockout could be ending soon, there are rumors that the Lockout could end today or tomorrow, we will keep you posted." Kathryn Tappen said as Caroline rolled her eyes. "They say that everyday." She said as Brendan Thomas came into the apartment shutting the door behind him. "New boxes arrive?" He said giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Yup Mom sent them this morning to us." She said smirking at him. "Any news?" Brendan was the Rangers NHLPA Rep, he had to know something if Tappen was right. "Don't get your hopes up." Brendan said as he sat down next to them. "We could be playing in the KHL, or in Switzerland or in Sweden but everyone's worried that they'll get stuck there in Europe if the lockout ends." Michael Del Zotto said coming into the living room and kissing Caroline, picking her up slightly so he could sit down, she in his lap. "Yeah I know, playing in the AHL isn't that bad though, half the NHL is at the moment." Brendan said.

Half of the Rangers were playing for the Whale which meant half of the Whale was playing for Greenville, it was craziness. "January 5th 2013 another day we don't play in the NHL." Caroline said as the three of them threw pillows at her. "CAROLINE." Ryan McDonagh said as Caroline perked up. "Yes..." She answered. Ryan came down the stairs looking at her in one of his mad faces. "Can. You. Stop. Using. My. Kiehl. Products." He said glaring at her. "But I love your moisturizer it's so nice, I mean you really should stop using my moisturizer." She said smirking. "I can not wait to get married this summer and leave this apartment." He said throwing up his hands in the air. "Why would you ever want to leave this place?" Derek Stepan said gliding down the metal stairs on his way to their Sub Zero fridge. "Derek if you finish the Fruit cups I will smack you." Michael said as they watched The O.C. "What episode?" Derek said as he munched on a Peach fruit cup. "The one where Oliver goes cray." She said throwing popcorn into her mouth. "Yes love this episode, Ryan turns out to be right!" He said throwing himself onto one of the chairs.

"This is just sad." Ryan Callahan said as he walked into the apartment, Charlotte her and Michael's goddaughter on his hip, she was the most adorable 9 month old ever. "Daddy lwook it's Cwaroline and Mwickey." Ugh she loved that kid. "Yup it's your depressing godparents and your really depressing uncles." He said shaking his head. "Let's go do something, let's go practice just in case this news of an agreement actually happen." All of them said "No." In unison. The last time they all tried to practice together was back in late September. They had to pay to use the Ranger's practice facility's ice, and were not allowed in their locker room, having to use the locker rooms open for their kids. It was a mess. "We can maybe go use Chelsea Piers or Central Park's ice." He said bouncing Charlotte on his hip. "NO." They all said immersed in the O.C. "Fine I'll get better while you guys get fatter." He sat down on the other chair, Ryan McDonagh laying down on the wooden floor. "Pass the popcorn." Ryan said to Mac Truck as he put Charlotte into his arms. "I miss hockey." He said as they all nodded their heads.

(Early that Morning)
"CAROLINE, BRENDAN, MICHAEL, ANYBODY!" "GUYS WAKE UP." Caroline heard Stu yelling for them in the living room. "What's going on?" Michael said as he shook her. His arms wrapped around her. "I don't know?" She said groggily. "Guys what's going on?" Carl Hagelin said from his bed. "We have no idea." Michael said shaking Caroline even more waking her completely up. "Fine let's go see." She got up from her bed in her comfy room she shared with Hags picking up her silk robe and wrapping it around her body as the boys walked out of the room in boxers. "What's up Bicks?" She said as she saw Mac Truck, Steps, and Brendan walking down the stairs. "GUYS LOOK." They all turned to the Television. It was about 7 O'Clock in the morning as the NHL Network appeared in front of her. "After 119 days the NHL Lockout has been officially unlocked." E.J Hradek said as Caroline screamed. "OMG GET THE TEAM ON THE PHONE." She said running into her room to grab the phone. "BRIAN WAKE UP." She said walking across the hall into Brian Boyle's and Mats Zuccarello's room. "WHAT." He said groggily. "THE LOCKOUT IS OVER WE ARE PLAYING HOCKEY TODAY." His eyes opened wide as they ran into the living room to see what was going on. All the guys were tuned into the TV as NHL network said that practices were to begun today and tomorrow so everyone could have time to get back from wherever they were for training camp to start the following day. Games would start next week. "I am getting the champagne." Stu said jumping off the couch towards the kitchen. "I'll get the glasses." Mats said as they poured the champagne for everyone. "I am going to be a Ranger." She said sitting on Michael's lap as he kissed her neck. "I know." He said whispering.

She would finally be able to play a game as an official Ranger. She was about to start her career as a New York Ranger, she was finally about to start her hockey career. She screamed happily as she and Michael kissed. Here it goes.
