It’s the first week in September and Morgan has been put on bed rest until little Isabella is born. Morgan has been having contractions since the last week in August. She is sound asleep when James comes home from working out. James comes up stair to take a quick shower. He goes into their bedroom, gets dressed, and then lays down on the bed beside Morgan. He wraps his arms around her as that their spooning with one another. He is asleep a short time later until later that night. James wakes up and starts nuzzling and kissing Morgan’s neck until she wakes up. She turns her head so that she can kiss James.

James - How you feeling baby?
Morgan - I’m ok other then my back is really sore.
James - Would you like for me to rub it for you?
Morgan - That would be great.

James starts gently rubbing Morgan’s lower back for a little while until Morgan tells him to stop.

James - Does that feel better baby?
Morgan - Thank you that feels a lot better.
James - Is there anything else I can do for you?
Morgan - I’m starting to get hungry.
James - I can go get us something if you want.
Morgan - That sounds fine.
James - Ok, I won’t be gone long.
Morgan - I’ll be waiting for you.

James gives Morgan a kiss and then leaves to get them something to eat. Morgan goes back to sleep for a little while until James comes back. James comes home and comes back up stairs. He sits on the bed beside Morgan. He runs his fingers through Morgan’s hair.

James - (Softly whispers) I’m back honey.
Morgan - (Wakes up and sees James sitting next to her) I fell asleep didn’t I?
James - Yeah you did babe. You should try and eat something. Then you can go back to sleep.
Morgan - As long as you stay with me.
James - Of course I will.

They eat their dinner. Morgan falls asleep a short time later. James gets up to check on JJ. He gives JJ his bottle, he gently burps him, and then starts rocking JJ to sleep. James puts JJ back in his crib. He leans over and kisses JJ on the forehead and tells him how much he loves him. James quietly goes back in his and Morgan’s bedroom. He lays down beside Morgan. He wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He is asleep a short time later until the next morning. Morgan are at the hospital. Morgan has gone into labor a few weeks early. Morgan and James are put in a room. James takes a hold of Morgan’s hand trying to comfort her and trying to keep her mind off of the contractions.

Morgan - Thank you for being here with me.
James - There’s no place I’d rather be then by your side. I love you.
Morgan - I love you too James.

James leans forward to give Morgan a kiss. He runs his fingers through Morgan’s hair. She falls back to sleep a short time later. The contractions last all day and into the night. Sometime in the middle of night Morgan gives birth to a beautiful baby girl who Morgan and James have named Isabella Madison. James comes back into her room after calling and texting everyone that Morgan had the baby. He sees that she is sound asleep. He goes over and sits in the chair by her bed. He leans forward to give her a kiss and runs his fingers through her hair. He falls asleep for a couple hours until it’s morning. He wakes up to see Morgan smiling at him.

James - Hey baby, I love you.
Morgan - I love you too James.
James - How are you feeling?
Morgan - Just tired
James - Then just go back to sleep baby.
Morgan - Will you stay with me?
James - Of course I will.
Morgan - Oh and happy birthday sweetie.
James - (Smiles) Thanks baby and you gave me the best gift I could ask for. I love you so much.
Morgan - I love you too James.
James - Do you need anything baby?
Morgan - Just for you to stay with me.
James - Of course I will. Just go back to sleep.
Morgan - I would love to cuddle with you.
James - (Smiles) Of course you can cuddle with me.

James gets into Morgan’s bed with her. Morgan snuggles up to James and goes right to sleep. James wraps his arm around Morgan and goes right to sleep until later that afternoon. By the end of the week Morgan and baby Isabella are able to leave the hospital and go home. They get home and James tells Morgan to go take a nap. Morgan agrees and goes up stairs. James takes baby Isabella into the nursery with JJ but in her own crib. James then joins Morgan. He lays down beside her, wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He is asleep a few minutes later until later that afternoon. It’s now the day before opening night for the new hockey season.
