My girl

Jon's pov:
We walked into the front entrance and everyone was surrounding us waiting to see Aubrey. She didn't sleep the entire ride home so we were hoping that when we got home, she would fall asleep, but she didn't. She loved Shawzie, and didn't want to leave his arms. It was 6:00 and we deicded to make hot dogs and burgers for supper. Everyone ate but Aubrey became restless so Jon fed her and out her to sleep, then one by one, everyone started clearing out until it was only Kylie, Aubrey, and I.

Kylie went to bed shortly after, but I wasn't ready for bed so I went outside to shoot some pucks. 10 minutes into it, Aubrey woke up. I decided to wait a few minutes to she if she would calm down, but she wouldn't. I went into her room and saw Kylie rocking her. I knew that she was the best mother ever and it seemed like she had five kids already. She noticed me and said "there's daddy" I walked over, kissed her temple, and looked down to see Aubrey wide awake and smiling. She wouldn't go back asleep so we brought her into her crib in our bedroom. Soon after she was asleep.

Aubrey only woke up a few times during the night which I was thankful for, but it was still exhausting. It was 10:30 in to he morning and we had a big game tonight. I was getting ready to go to morning skate while Kylie was taking care of Aubrey. I was going to be late for practice and I was getting very frustrated. I could not find my car keys. I finally found them and then had to go to the living room were Kylie was feeding Aubrey to get my phone. I quickly kissed Kylie then Aubrey and tripped over her phone cord and lost it by saying "for fuck sakes does that have to be there". Kylie looked and said "well I can't help it that you take all the sockets for charging your damn phone and laptop" and stormed out of the room with Aubrey. I tried to apologize but she kept walking. She went into Aubrey's room and slammed the door causing Aubrey to cry. I was now 20 minutes late for practice and I was going to be screwed so I just left.

After morning skate I went back to apologize to Kylie about earlier without even tell the team I'm leaving. I found a note saying "I went out with Aubrey and don't know when I'll be back, I'll call you when I have the chance, but I feel like we are moving to fast, Kylie. My heart sank as the door opened and I punched the wall. It was Sharpie, Kaner, Shawzie, and Keith. I wasn't in the mood to talk to them so I went to the bedroom and tried to call Kylie. I heard a knock on the door and then it opened. It was Sharpie. I told him what was going on and showed him the note. He volunteered to help look for my family, but I just needed to go alone.
