Jonathan lifted Leah up onto his dresser and ran his hands up and down her thighs. Leah unbuttoned his suit jacket and tugged it off him, then she started working on his shirt, looking and tugging at each button like it was her duty to her country. She tugged at the shirt gently and then lifted his undershirt over his head, revealing the fit hockey body that she loved.

Jonathan looked at Leah while she was taking off his clothes and fell in love with her all over again. She was staring at each button so intently that you would think she was diffusing a bomb. When she was finished Jon brought his hands up to his face and ever so gently planted a kiss on her lips. Then he moved to her neck and placed open kisses all the way down to her collar bone.

Leah could feel Jonathan's smooth hands start to lift up her patagonia and remove it from her body, leaving her in just a bra and her pants. Next Jonathan reached down and unbuttoned her jeans, lifting her up just a little so he could move them over her butt and down her legs.

"This is unfair, you're wearing more clothes than me," Leah smirked at Jon who was staring at her. He chuckled while she reached down and unbuckled his belt and removed it from his waist, then moving to finally unzip his pants. When they fell to his ankles, Jonathan quickly stepped out of them.

He lifted Leah back up, and carried her over to his bed, never letting his lips leave hers. He laid her down his bed gently, like she was fine china, and then unconnected himself from her. He took a moment just to look down at her, she looked so peaceful staring up at him. He had missed this, and no he wasn't talking about having sex with her, but just looking at her and looking at her looking at him.

He reached up and put his thumb in his panties and dragged them down her legs. Leah gently tugged to bring him down to the bed. Jonathan obliged, crawling on top of her until his lips reached hers again. Their tongues danced to their own rhythm, it was one of his favorites. He moved his hands to unhook her bra, then trailed down so his mouth could suck on each nipple, gently bitting and then kissing. He could feel Leah writhing a little underneath him.

He trailed down from her breasts, to her ribs and down to her hip bones. He kissed inside her thighs, and then finally moved to suck on her clit. He heard Leah take a sharp inhale, and he took that moment to slide one is his fingers into her. He chuckled at his ability to still make her wet, he moved his finger to the little rhythm that they had, and then he moved another finger into her body.

It didn't take long for Jonathan to feel that she was close to her climax so her moved back up her body to kiss her again. Leah tugged Jonathan's boxers down so that they were at his ankles, Jon lined himself up with Leah and before pushing into her he kissed her one more time.

Leah wrapped her arms around Jonathan's neck, and then wrapped her legs around his waist as he pushed himself into her, for the first time in three years. It had never felt so good.

They moved at a slow rhythm, neither one of them wanting this moment to end. They had had sex a thousand times before, but this was different. This was made out of heartbreak and anger and sadness, and it was all covered up by love. Jonathan quickened his pace, not a lot but enough to make Leah move her arm to bring his lips crashing onto hers.

Leah could feel herself reaching her climax and she knew that Jonathan could feel it too, so he started moving faster and faster, while Leah just kept her lips on his. Jonathan felt Leah come with him and he rode out their highs until Leah released her hold on him and Jonathan let himself fall on top of her slowly, careful as not to harm her.

They laid there for a while, neither one of them saying anything, they just listened to each other breathing. Leah finally looked over at Jonathan next to her, and started laughing.

Jon looked over at Leah, "What?"

Leah just kept laughing, "Three years later and you still got it eh?"

Jonathan started chuckling along with her. He took this moment to look at her again. Her hair was all tangled up, and her lips looked swollen, but her body looked great. She had always been fit but Jonathan could tell that within the last three years she had tightened everything up. Not much had changed about her body, she still fit with him, in all the same places she had before.

Jonathan grabbed Leah and pulled her into him, "I missed this. I missed you."

Leah sighed, "I missed you too."

Jonathan could feel her breaths started to even out, he pulled the covers up over them, and then kissed her forehead, "I love you Leah."

Leah woke up tangled in Jonathan's embrace and she never felt happier. For the last three years she had been waking up cold and alone and now she was hot and with the man that she loved.

She was so excited that she even started shaking Jonathan awake.

"What? what?"

Leah started chuckling, "Get up I want to do something fun."

Jonathan opened one eye, looked at Leah for a minute, and then closed his eye and rolled over away from Leah.

Leah started chuckling again, "Jonathan please!"

Jonathan rolled back over to face Leah, "Okay fine Lee, what do you wanna do?"

Leah looked at Jonathan, "Let's go get a dog."

It was Jonathan's turn to laugh, "Absolutely not. I am not getting a dog."

Leah frowned, "Why not?"

Jonathan just shrugged, "Where would he live? Your apartment or mine? Remember we don't live together, unless you wanna move in again."

Leah smirked, "No you're not getting off that easy, we're taking this slow. We're starting over."

"Then why do you need a dog?"

Leah shrugged, "I need a running partner, because you won't be able to keep up with me."

Jonathan laughed, "When did you start running?"

Leah looked at Jonathan, "When I moved to New York thank you very much!" Leah pushed Jonathan, but then he grabbed her and brought her back to him.

"If you move in with me we will get a dog."

Leah looked at Jonathan, "What if I move in with you when you're here, and when you're on road trips I'll be with Kylie?"

Jonathan smiled, "That will have to do."

Leah smiled back at Jonathan, "So we're getting a dog?"

Jonathan mentally was thinking that he was gonna go crazy, and then he realized that he loved the shit out of this girl, so he nodded, "Yeah, we're getting a dog."

Leah looked at Jonathan while he was playing with the puppy. She had always loved Jonathan with kids, but that was before she saw Jonathan with a puppy.

The little black lab was running in circles around Jonathan and Jonathan was just smiling at it. Leah knew that whether or not she wanted this puppy, they were leaving with it.

The lady that had helped them get the puppy out of its kennel at the pound walked back into the room, "So have you decided if you want the little guy?"

Before Leah could say anything Jonathan piped up, "Yes we'll take him!"

Leah narrowed her eyes in at Jonathan and he laughed, "He grew on me." Leah just laughed at Jonathan and looked at the lady, "I guess we'll take him."

An hour after all the papers had been signed and Leah and Jonathan had gotten all the so called tools that they needed to take care of this puppy, they were knocking on Patrick Kane's door.

Patrick swung open his door and started smiling, "Well shit it's about time I saw you too together on my front step again." He moved to bring them both into a hug when he heard a tiny bark escape from near Jonathan, "Wow Jon sorry I didn't mean to touch your girl was I was just being happy."

Leah and Jon laughed, "Actually the bark came from this little guy," Jonathan said, bringing the kennel the puppy was in into view.

Patrick leaned down and looked inside the kennel, he could see a small black lab at the back of the kennel, his tail wagging up and down, "Shit Jon you bought her a dog."

Jonathan laughed, "Anything to keep her happy."

Leah punched Jon in the shoulder, "Shut up you liked the puppy more than I did!"

Patrick looked between Jonathan and Leah and spoke up, "So not that I don't love you guys or whatever but why are you here? If it's because you want me to take the puppy so you can have makeup sex there is no way in hell, make the puppy listen to your moans."

Jonathan rolled his eyes at Patrick, "Wanna get the team together and go out tonight?"

Pat looked at Jon and then at Leah with a smirk on his face, "Dude are we getting the band back together?"

Leah and Jonathan rolled up the club around ten at night. Leah was wearing a black romper that was too short for Jon to be able to think, and it was also cut down to show more than enough cleavage. Jonathan, also looking sharp in a dress shirt and suit pants, swung Leah around into a kiss before heading into the club.

"Remember you're coming home with me tonight."

Leah smirked, "We'll see. Only if you can outdrink me."

Jonathan laughed as Leah walked away, "Challenge absolutely excepted."

Jonathan walked into the club after Leah and saw her already at the bar with a drink in hand, looking around for his teammates. He walked over to her and then dragged her to the VIP area where all of his teammates were standing and looking at them.

He spotted Patrick Sharp smiling at him and nodding his head, Jonathan just smiled right back at him. He let Leah walk up first because he knew that all of the guys and their wives only really cared about seeing her.

Leah walked up the stairs like she owned the place and everybody in it, and she did. Everybody was looking at her like she was the sun, but she only wanted one moon and he was walking behind her. She was standing at the top of the stairs, looking at the team, and they were looking back at her. For some odd reason she was nervous, like it was her first time meeting the team all over again.

When Leah had met the team for the first time it had been like this. She could remember the day perfectly because it was important to her. The team was Jonathan's family and so meeting them and getting their approval was almost more important than meeting his actual family. She had walked up the stairs with Jonathan like she just had, and he had grabbed her hand and had shown her the ropes of his family.

Leah looked at everybody again like it was the first time and like the first time she had met them Jonathan came up next to her and grabbed her hand in his. She looked down at their hands entwined together and smiled.

Corey Crawford was the first to speak, "Well it's about damn time!"

With those five words the entire group started clapping and cheering and whopping and hollering and made their way towards Jonathan and Leah. Everybody was welcoming Leah back into the family again, not that she had ever really left.

Jonathan glanced over at Leah standing with Abby Sharp and Kelly Rae Keith, it was just like old times and he absolutely loved it.

He made eye contact with her from across the room and smiled, "I love you," he mouthed.

Leah smiled back at him, "I love you too."

Oh my gosh okay nobody kill me but I just got so involved in school and completely forgot about updating.

I can't make any promises but hopefully I'll be able to update more often and if not I can promise that when summer comes I will have mucho time to update.
