Madeline sat crossed legged, beats headphones on her ears as Taylor Swift blasted throughout her ears. The book Rules of Summer on her lap as she read about the love story between good girl Rory and cute boy Connor. She wished she had one of those book romances, always having happy endings. "Everyone we are about to land in Florida, welcome." The pilot said as she looked out the window seeing Florida below them, she smiled as she looked down at her outfit. She looked good in Scalloped white Lilly shorts and one of Aaron's navy blue Barrie Colts sweatshirts, jack rogers adorned her feet. "We have landed." the flight attendants said as everyone took off their seat belts and stood up.

She wanted to get out of this plane and into Aaron's arms pronto. she grabbed her duffel bag from the compartment above her as she grabbed her LongChamp bag holding her phone trying to get a signal. She departed the plane carrying her LongChamp bag on one arm and her Barrie Colts duffel on her other arm. When she saw him she wanted to cry. He was in a florida panthers rebook t-shirt, a team issued one obviously and a pair of salmon shorts, and his usual summer skates, the ones he took back from her. "Aaron!" She said as he looked up from his iPhone, his big smirk/grin on his face. She was a year and a half older then him but he looked older then her for the first time ever. She dropped her bags as she ran into his muscular arms, her legs wrapping around his waist. "There's my babe." He said in his sexy voice. "I've missed you so much Madeline Genevieve Gilmore." She held on to him tighter. "I've missed you so much Aaron Ekblad." She said not wanting to let go. "Come on let's go get lunch. Erik Gudbranson told me a good place to get sushi your favorite." He said as he released her from his grip. "Okay." She said smirking as she kissed him. It was electric like their relationship. She felt butterflies in her stomach. He grabbed her hand kissing it before intertwining his hand with hers.

"Wow it's sunny." She said as the doors to the airport opened and the sun shined down on them. "Yeah I am getting used to it." He said as she took off her Ray Bans from her head and put them on. They walked over to his car that he road tripped down to Florida. "We should start looking at apartments." He said opening the door to the passenger seat for her as she got in and sat down. "Shouldn't you like wait and see if you make training camp." She said as he laughed. "I think I am making training camp." He said driving off. Her father would scold him if he were there he hated cocky hockey players and Aaron was acting a bit cocky, she had never seen this side to him. "Maybe you'll play for Barrie next year." She said looking out the window. "I highly doubt that babe." He said laughing even more.
