Shaybu!

Chapter 15

Sidney tilted Brad's head backward and exposed his neck.

"Sidney, your fight is with me, for some reason. Not him! Let him go and just kill me instead!" Patrice begged.

"Now why on earth would I do that, Bergeron? Do you think I'm stupid?" Sidney calmly spoke, as he slid out a knife from his side.

Patrice watched him with an empty gaze.

"You're not going to kill my liney, Marchy!"

Sidney scoffed and ignored Patrice. He stuck the blade to Brad's skin and pressed down. Brad squeezed his eyelids closed. He wasn't one to be scared, but he was at this moment.

****

"You're not going to kill my liney, Marchy!" Patrice repeated.

There was a noticeable change in his tone that made Sidney stop and spin around.

Patrice mustered an ounce of raw strength and jerked against the ropes. He managed to pull one of his arms free. He tore the other one free as well.

Sidney looked shocked, as Patrice Bergeron stood up and glared him down with one eye.

"How did you----?"

"Like I said you're not going to kill my liney, Marchy!"

"Mmmmmmph!" Brad muffled.

Patrice held his ground, as Sidney lowered his weapon and dropped his arm. Brad slowly moved his head back down.

Sidney smirked. "What do ya know, I underestimated the Bruin!?"

"I can be an actor too, Sid. You never broke me. Though you taunted me with my fears and you beat me up, I never once gave into your psychotic antics. Besides, this doesn't hurt as much as when I played in the final, you dick!" Patrice growled, clenching his fist.

Sidney frowned and eyed him, backing away from Brad, slowly.

"If I can not break you, then you will die at once!" Sidney snarled.

"Go ahead and try. I dare ya!"

Sidney charged at Patrice with the knife in his hand. He swung at Patrice, who dove out of the way.

Patrice quickly grabbed Sidney's arm and knocked the knife from his hold. Sidney gasped and twisted around, swinging a fist at the Bruin. Patrice rolled his eyes (or eye) and flung Sidney to the ground. Sidney's head collided against the hardwood flooring, knocking him out cold.

Patrice glanced around for the other Penguins, but they didn't show. He kicked Sidney's body to the side and stumbled over to his buddy.

He untied the knot of the towel and tossed it to the side, onto Sidney's stomach.

"H-how...?" Brad began, shocked.

Patrice doubled over in pain, yelping. Brad jumped to his feet and grabbed him, to steady him.

"I acted. I am really in much worse pain, Marchy. But I couldn't let that bastard kill you!"

Brad cocked his head and smiled. He had that "aw shucks" look. He helped his teammate out of the room and out of the house. Patrice clung to him, breathing heavily.

Patrice really was a warrior!

****

Brad looked up as he felt a stinging sensation on his neck. He found himself back in the farmhouse, still bound and gagged and totally not being saved by the heroic Bergy.

Sidney pressed in deeper with the knife, before the motion stopped abruptly. Brad froze, unable to do a thing. Sidney removed the knife and grumbled to himself.

"No, no, I don't want to kill him like this!" He spoke to himself.

Brad gradually lowered his head. Patrice had his head down. The brave centerman couldn't come to watch.

"How should I go about this? Maybe, I should break his tiny obnoxious bones or pluck the feisty hairs off of his body. Maybe I could just cut a nice pattern...? Hmmm... So many choices!"

@EvelynaKitty
With the talent I see in this fanfiction, I know you will do great things in life. Hopefully, you will be the one to write Bergeron's tale. (And yes, he's going down in NHL and Bruins history!)

@BergeronSmithKrug
Thank you so much. I am really looking to connect with the audience and receive feedback from people on the descriptions and fluidity. I ultimately want to use the fan fiction tales to translate into an original novel. I also want to be the one who writes Bergy's documentary tale, since he's DEFINITELY going down in NHL history. (More than Sidney...haha)

This was sooooooo good

Only Boston fans unfortunately know that Looch is a big softy off the ice. Hell yes to that! Crosby would fit right in and Alex Burrows can join him. That biter! lol

I wouldn't doubt that Looch would be friends with Blackhawks. He might be ruthless on the ice, but off the ice most Bruins are big softies. Hell yeah!! Crosby is a pansy when it comes to hockey, he should really be a soccer player because he dives so much and is a diva!!
