Shaybu!
Chapter 2
"Sid, what are you doing?"
"Listen, I wanted to apologize for my despicable behavior on the rink. I didn't mean it, really. Getzlaf really got in my head and made me see that I have been a total jerk to you all! I was wondering if you would forgive me and allow me to be your friend."
"Wow, that was very gentlemanly of you, Sid!"
"I really am sorry, Bergy and to show you that I mean it, I want to take you somewhere."
"Okay?" Patrice was flummoxed at Sidney's sudden mood change. "Where?"
"It's a secret!"
Sidney grabbed Patrice's hand and they walked off from the Shayba Arena toward the Canada House, where they were staying.
"We're almost there!"
Sidney led Patrice past the house and toward a group of three suspicious men. Chris Kunitz was one of them.
"Whoa, whoa, Sid?"
Sidney gripped Patrice's hand tighter. Patrice pulled at his grip. Something was definitely not right.
"Sidney, let go! Sidney, stop!" Patrice commanded.
"Come on, Bergy it'll be fun!"
Patrice could pick out the figure of Brooks Orpik, who had been knocked out and concussed by Shawn Thornton. The third figure, he didn't know, but he had scars and looked like an exact replica of Matt Cooke and John Scott's love child.
And that's when Patrice's heart began to race in his chest and he had second thoughts. What was Sidney's game?
"Now?" Orpik grumbled, eyeing the Bruin.
"Now!" Sidney's response came.
Before Patrice could react, he was flung forward by the Penguin. The big goon guy snatched him by the arm and yanked him into his firm grasp.
"What the--"
"I should be on Broadway, right Bergeron?" Sidney chirped, as the big goon slapped his hand over Patrice's mouth.
Patrice muffled screams of anger toward Sidney.
"Yes, I tricked you Bergeron, that I did!" Sidney slapped Patrice's shoulder hard. "I'm such a despicable bastard aren't I?"
Patrice struggled and squirmed in the goon's grasp. He fought to get free, but the bigger man overpowered him, rendering him helpless.
"Take him away!" Sidney ordered, with a careless flick of the wrist.
Patrice jerked against the hold, but ultimately failed, as the goon dragged him away into the coming night.
"Oh, and do make his death slow and painful!" Orpik added, with twisted glee.
Patrice watched in horror and fury, as Sidney, Brooks Orpik and even Chris Kunitz cackled at their evil scheme. He was dragged toward a van, where the man shoved him into the back and slammed the doors shut, locking and trapping him inside.
"Let me out!"
The engine to the van revved up and jerked forward speeding away from the Olympic village.
Patrice would give anything to be back in America with his Bruin friends. He missed them and now he might never see them again. Especially his buddy called, Marchy.

Poor Bergy....
@EvelynaKitty
With the talent I see in this fanfiction, I know you will do great things in life. Hopefully, you will be the one to write Bergeron's tale. (And yes, he's going down in NHL and Bruins history!)
