"We're back!" Reilly called shrugging his coat off.
"Oh thank goodness," Deirdre giggled, "we were sooo worried,"
Sammy and Tessa, Brendan's girlfriend, laughed at the sarcasm in her voice. Reilly stuck out his tongue at his mother.
"Reilly! Be nice to your mother," Sammy scolded playfully.
Reilly rolled his eyes playfully, "I am!"

"Keep him in line," Deirdre pointed her wodden spoon at the pair.
"I try to," Sammy giggled leaning her head on his chest.
Brendan and Rory entered with rosy cheeks and messy hat hair as well. It was snowing pretty bad outside, but that didnt stop the Smiths from having their yearly Christmas Eve party. Some family and Reilly's childhood friends would be there. Sammy was a little nervous, knowing she'd have to try and fit in.

"What time is everyone coming over?" Rory asked
"7," Deirdre answered, "Which means you all have 3 hours to get yourselves presentable. If I were you I would start getting ready, I would like some help in an hour or so,"
They all nodded their heads in understanding and marched up the stairs to get ready. Sammy had packed a dress for the occasion. It was a short bergundy dress with a skater shirt and long lace sleeves. She just had a pair of gladiator sandals to go with it, because it wasnt a really high profile event.

Her and Reilly took turns showering. They shared his ensuite like a married couple. Both stood in front of the mirror trying to prepare themselves. He was shaving while she blow dried her hair. It was a tight fit, but neither were really bothered.
After she dried her hair she curled the ends gently. After giving a quick check over and doing makeup she was ready to go. Reilly was trying to fix the little tuft of dark brown hair in the front.

"Let me see," She giggled standing in front of him.
She reached up on her tip toes since he was taller than her by a bit. She gently ran her fingers through it, fluffing it up just enough.
"There you go," She kissed his cheek.
"Can you tie my tie?" He grinned sheepishly.

She laughed and shook her head, "How do you not know how to tie a tie?"
"I dunno, Bergy usually helps me figure it out," He snickered
She huffed, "Youre a piece of work Reilly Smith,"
"But you're stuck with me," He grinned as she tied his tie.
"There," She smiled admiring her work, "All nice and tidy,"
"Thanks babe, you're the best," He kissed the tip of her nose.

"Sammy dear," Deirdre asked politely, "Can you go get me that tray out of the oven?"
"Yes of course," sammy smiled
"Thanks, you're a doll," Deirdre giggled.
"I'll be right back," Sammy told Reilly.
He nodded and continued to talk to one of his old friends, Micael.

Sammy went to the kitchen, going through the drawers to find the oven mits. Once she did she opened the oven, feeling the heat in her face. Then she bent down at bit to grab the tray.
Someone from behind her let out a low whistle.

Sammy flinched, startled. She stood up, looking over her shoulder and seeing one of Reilly's friends standing behind her. He hand obviously been staring at her ass when she was bent over.
"Um can I help you?" She asked blushing in embarrassment.
"Oh I was just admiring the view," He winked.
She gritted her teeth, "Excuse me?"
"What?" He laughed, "You put it out there. I was just enjoying it."

Reilly noticed Sammy had been gone a couple minutes. He turned around, spotting her in the kitchen. She looked visably upset, but he couldnt see Luke's expression since his back was to him. Reilly excused himself and went over to investigate.
"What's wrong Sam?" He asked leaning in the doorway next to Luke, his friend.
"Nothing," She shook her head quickly.

Reilly eyed her suspiciously but stepped back into the livingroom. Luke came up to him.
"Is that girl your cousin?" Luke asked, "Cause she's really hot. When she bent over I-"
"Thats my girlfriend you fucking dumbass," Reilly cut him off.
Luke's eyes widened, "Oh man, I'm sorry Reilly. I-I didnt know,"
"Just stay away from her," He warned going back over to Micael looking annoyed.

"Let's go into the other room," Reilly murmured in Sam's ear.
She smiled and nodded, letting him tug her into the empty side room. It was dark, but they could still see eachother.
"What's this for?" She asked
"This," He said pulling her over to the fireplace and kissing her.
She smiled and kissed him back. When they pulled apart she realized there was a little mistletoe above their heads.

She giggled, "You're so cute Rei,"
"Thanks," He bit his lip smiling brightly.
They stood in the dark for a couple minutes just hugging eachother tightly. Sammy liked the silence between them, it was nice. He hummed something quietly to himself, resting his head on top of hers. She rested her head on his chest standing ontop of his feet to get closer to his height.

"Merry Christmas Reilly," She said softly.

"Merry Christmas baby," He whispered back.
