It's a Hockey Night in Pittsburgh!

It has been a month and everything is going to plan. The side effect are not helping but the doctor told us that this was going to happen. She was losing her hair and she wasn't ready to shave it. I bought her a lot of hats and since it's still winter here that help a lot. She can't go to any of the game and it hurts her a lot. Wrenn wants to go to work and see the guys. Sid and other team mates will be by her side during her treatment. Wade is helping her a lot. The New York Red Bulls are letting have the time off to help Wrenn out. When we got back to our place Wrenn just wanted to sleep. So Wade and I were in the kitchen drinking some beer.
"Can you tell me what happen to your parents?"
"Well you already know what happen between her and Claude. When she told them about what's going on. They were just done with her with partying with the players and on and off relationship with the players. What they did was they cut her from her life and if they pass away they let everything to me. After she found out that she wasn't pregnant anymore she though that our parents will not cut her off. She came back to Denver to try to talk to them. It was to late, she found out that dad lost his job and couldn't find any work. It was hard for him because mom was keep on nagging about it. He lost it and killed her. Dad's in jail and still doesn't want anything to do with her." I was in shock and now I know why she wasn't ready to talk about it. Wade took a big sip of his beer.
"Where were you when this happen?"
"I was in New York, just got back from Vancover. We lost that day but we knew that we were going to lose. Wrenn called me and ask me if I knew anything about this and I told her the truth that I didn't. I cut them out of my life for what they were doing to her. She did nothing wrong just a lot of bad things happen to her before she met you."
"Well she found out that she has cancer with me so I think that the bad things are still over her head." I look up the clock and it was 12:13 am.
"Better to get to bed, morning stake and I don't want to be late."
"I'll come and see you guys there. I know that Wrenn wants me to take photos so she knows what you guys are doing."
"See you there then."


Once I got in the locker room. Everyone came up to me and ask how Wrenn's doing.
"She's doing ok, I think having her brother with her helps a lot."
"What about her parents?" Kuni ask.
"That's a long story to tell you and I think Wrenn's not ready to tell."
"Did she tell you?"
"No, Wade told me." It was a tuff morning stake and I see that Wade was taking photos and videos for Wrenn. He was talking to Sid and Duper. He should get an award for being the greatest brother. For stop playing and be with his sister. Do things that he didn't want to do. When Wade and I got back to my place. Everything was untouched and it look like no one was here at all.
"Do you think that Wrenn still sleeping?"
"Yeah she is, I would let her be." I am still going to check on her. I open my door and I see that Wrenn was awake.
"Hey sweetie." I sat next to her and she was pale as a ghost.
"How are you feeling?"
"I feel ugly and don't feel good at all. It's been a month and I still feel the same. I can't do this anymore." She was crying again.
"How about a bath with me would make it better."
"That would be amazing." Once I got the bath ready, I help her get in and wrap my arms around her.
"James?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you my boyfriend?"
"Yes I am." I look down and see her lips went into a smile. She spun around so we were face to face. The bubble were covering her chest.
"James, I love you. You have done far and above what any boyfriend would do for their girlfriend. Thank you." After draining out of the water, she was sitting on the edge of her bed. Just zone out.
"What are you thinking about right now?"
"Nothing, I can't think because there's nothing I can't do. The only two places I can go it here or the hospital." I sat down next to her.
Tomorrow we do play the Capitals, maybe if I could talk to see if he could talk to Ovie and some of the team mates to see her. On the way back for another session. Wade was on his phone and Wrenn was looking out the window.
"I text Kuni's wife and she's going to cut my hair before the game tonight."
"That's great Wrenn." We were now waiting, She could have read a book but then get's bored. Cards were out the question because she's beats us everytime. This time was different.
"So who are the Penguins are playing tonight?" There was a knock on the door. We all turn to see who it was. The door open and it was Mike Green. I could hear Wrenn's breath stop.
"Mike!" She walk over and gave him a hug.
"What are you doing here? How did you know?" She look over at me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"You guys are playing the Capitals tonight and you though that they should see me before the game. Thank you James." Behind Mike, was Alex, Nicky and Brooks. They stay the whole time and we all left together.
"When are you coming to the game?" Nicky ask.
"I'm going to get my hair cut before the game but I will always be there two hours before the game."
"That's the Wrenn that I know."Alex smiled showing the one toothless smile. When we got back to our place, got ready and when I came out of my room. I see that Kuni’s wide was here.
"Thanks you for doing this for her. She needs this a lot."
"No problem, she has people everywhere to help her a lot."
