Audrey growled and threw her phone on her bed. She rubbed her face, smudging her make up and catching some tears. She didn't know why she was crying. Maybe because she really liked Sam and it wasn't mutual. Maybe because this was the first time a guy had turned her down. She wasn't sure. She just knew she wanted to talk to Brooke or Rebecca. Neither were answering her though.

Her phone started to ring. She searched through her blanket for it. She felt it, but it was still tangled. She finally got to it and read the name.

Samson.

She rolled her eyes, locking her phone. It buzzed a second later and she checked It again. It was him asking her to look out her window. She did, and he was watching from his. He gestured for her to open her window. She locked in and closed her curtains. She dropped back onto her bed.

"One last try." She breathed.

She dialed Brooke's number. She actually answered this time. "Who died?" She laughed.

"I've had a terrible night and you haven't answered my phone calls." Audrey hissed.

"Sorry, I was out with Mitchell." Brooke explained.

"What's new?" Audrey spat.

"Okay, I'm not gonna bother with you tonight." Brooke said before shuffling was heard.

"What's wrong?" Rebecca questioned.

"I'm in tears and neither of you had time to answer your phones." Audrey huffed.

"Audrey, not everything is about you. Holy fuck." Rebecca scoffed.

"What? When do I ever come to you with my problems?" Audrey argued.

"You can't just expect us to drop what we're doing for you?" Rebecca asked.

"You know what? This isn't working out. Let's just call this the end." Audrey swallowed hard. "Just don't ever talk to me again."

A week had past and Audrey had been faking sick the entire time. Nicole Brown was fully aware of what was really going on. Her daughter was heartbroken. She wasn't sick, she was sad. The girls knew as well. Holiday went over a few times to check on Audrey during her spare. She told her what happened with Brooke and Rebecca, but avoided the Sam problem.

"Aaron!" Holiday called, running to him.

"Holiday!" He mocked, turning from Candice.

"Do you know Brooke and Rebecca?" She asked. "From my old school?" He asked. She nodded. "Yeah, what about them?"

"Shit went down with Audrey and them and I think we need to get them together so they can make up." She explained.

"I'll see what I can do." Aaron nodded and pulled out his phone.

Plans were made. The girls would tell Audrey they were going to a movie. They would drive her there where Brooke and Rebecca would be. They'd do the cliche girl thing where they cry and hug and make up. It's what always happened. But it didn't this time.

Audrey walked in, miserable, behind the girls. She spotted her two ex best friends and lost it. She screamed at the girls, at Aaron, at anyone in her path. Then she walked home. It was more than a half hour walk from the theatre to her house, but she did it.

Nearly everyone heard about it. Audrey's meltdown spread like wildfire. Sam saw a tweet and frowned. He decided to make it better. He walked around the corner and knocked on her door. She answered it and crossed her arms.

"What?" She spat.

"I just wanted to come check on you." He shrugged

"Thanks. You can go now." She began closing the door.

"Audrey, wait," He sighed. "You can't still be mad."

"I am and it'd mean a lot to me if you fucked off and never spoke to me again." She smiled and slammed the door.

Sam stomped home. He walked in his front door and slammed it. Griffin stepped out of his room to see what was going on. Sam bumped by him. Griffin grabbed his arm. Sam stopped with his back to his brother.

"What is your problem?" Griff asked.

"Audrey hates me and it's all my fault." Sam exhaled.

"I swear you two were like a couple." Griffin laughed.

Sam rolled his eyes before he pulled away. He walked into his room and closed the door. Griffin decided to go and try to do damage control for his little brother. He walked over to the Brown's and knocked. Audrey opened the door. She was close to tears. Griffin gave her a smile.

"Griff, I'm not really in the mood." She breathed.

"Come here and shut up." He said, his arms opened.

She stepped into him and started crying again. He lifted her and sat down with her on the couch. She sat up, wiping her face. Griffin could tell that Audrey was like this because of Sam. He took a deep breath and draped his arm on the couch behind her. She leaned into him.

"So tell me what happened?" He spoke.

"I don't know." She shrugged. "I guess I caught feelings from Sam always being around and being all touchy and cuddly and everything and then I found out he was on a date with another girl. I just lost it."

"I honestly thought he was into you, Audrey. I don't know what's wrong with him." Griff hugged her.

"I didn't want to get feeling for his stupid ass." She huffed.

"It's hard when he's almost as cute as me." He smirked.

"You're a good friend." She smiled at him. "I think I'm gonna get some sleep now though."

"Yeah, good. Try to cheer up." He kissed the side of her head before leaving.

Sam was waiting in Griffin's room when he got home. Griffin shook his head at his little brother when he walked in. Sam frowned. Griffin lifted him by the collar of his shirt and shoved him to the door.

"I just want to know if she's okay." Sam begged.

"She's fine without you. Now get out." Griffin screamed before slamming the door.
