Morgan sat in silence. He could tell something was wrong. The way Taylor was acting was weird. He had taken her for lunch at a cute little diner. She loved doing that. But she was quiet. She would just smile and nod or shake her head when he talked to her. He didn't know what to do.

Taylor didn't know what to do either. Her heart hadn't been fully with Morgan in a while. She was always thinking of other things. Of other people. She didn't feel like she was being fair to him. She just ate her meal silently. She didn't think she could hold a conversation with Morgan when she was like this.

"Taylor, are you gonna say a word to me?" He asked, frowning. "Did I do something wrong?"

She shook her head. "No, you've done nothing wrong, Morg."

"Then why aren't you talking?" He sighed, putting down his fork

"I'm fucked up." She rubbed her face.

"What? How are you fucked up?" He furrowed his brows.

"Because I'm with you and you're amazing but I," She took a deep breath. "I can't get stupid fucking Jack off my mind. It's not fair to you."

Morgan nodded. "I mean, it sucks totally but you just still love him. It's understandable." He shrugged.

"You're actually being this reasonable." She chuckled.

"Tay, it's not like we've been together for long. I get how hard it is to move on. Don't sweat it." He smiled.

Taylor stood up and walked to Morgan's side of the booth. She pulled him into a long, tight hug. She kissed his cheek before she left him in the diner. She dialed Jack's number as she walked out.

"Taylor?" He answered, confused.

"Can we meet up? I need to see you." She breathed.

"Is that okay with Morgan?" He spat.

"I'm not with Morgan anymore." She sighed. "So can we?"

"Yeah, of course, Tay. Where?" He took a deep breath.

"The park near the rink." She suggested.

"This isn't a set up, right?" He questioned.

"God, no. Just meet me there, okay?" She laughed a bit.

"Okay." Taylor sat on the swings.

She swung a bit while letting her feet drag in the wood chips. She was scared. She didn't know how she would be around him after their time apart. She just hoped she wouldn't cry. She did not want to cry.

Jack turned the corner and saw her sitting on the swings. He stopped. He was taken back. He had missed her so much. What if he cried? He sighed and continued walking over. He tucked his hand into his jacket pockets as he approached her. She had her back to him.

"Hey." He spoke.

She looked over her shoulder, smiling. "Hey, you got a haircut." She pointed out as she stood.

He nodded. "So, how have you been?"

"Alright. How about you?" She crossed her arms.

He shrugged. "I've been missing you." He admitted.

She looked at him. "I've really missed you, Jack." She noticed him smile a bit. "But why were you being such an ass?"

"Because you're unreal and I didn't think I was good enough for you." He confessed. "I thought I was gonna lose you and it scared me, a lot."

Taylor stepped towards him. She leaned into him. His arms wrapped around her. She smiled looking up at him. He was smiling too. They were happy together.

"You've never lost me, Jack. I've always been yours." She told him.

He smiled before he kissed her.

The next day was the final game of the regular season. The Falcons had made the playoffs for the first time in years. It was a big deal for them. Tonight, they were playing the Griffins. The Griffins were top of the division.

"Griffin playing the Griffins." Audrey mumbled as she filled out the score sheet.

"Audrey." Griffin groaned.

She smiled at him. Sam chuckled as he walked over. She puckered her lips at him. He gave her a kiss, pulling away slowly. She looked up at him with a smile.

"Are you coming over after the game?" He asked, hovering above her.

"Of course. I'll be right here, win or lose." She sang before she kissed him again.

It was a loss. A bad loss. All the guys were mad at themselves. Audrey gave the winning team the nice sheet, making sure to shoot dirty looks at any player that was in the hall as she walked away. Some mocked her, but she didn't listen. They were a dirty team and the refs were favouriting them.

She gave her dad the other sheet and then waited for her boyfriend. Andre was our first and went over to Holiday. Candice and Kaylynn didn't come to this game. Kaylynn was upset about Sam Bennett leaving while Candice was staying back home to be there for her friend. Jack came and he and Taylor played coy. Michael was one of the last guys out. He just went to Danielle and pulled her into a hug.

Sam was the very last guy out. He walked over to Audrey with a hard expression. He slowly dropped his bag on the floor. She put her purse down, walking over to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her lips to his. He hugged her close to him.

Audrey and Sam lounged around on his bed. She got up to get a snack while he moped. Sam decided to check his messages. Danielle had sent him a picture of he and Audrey kissing after the game. He smiled. He uploaded it to Instagram with a caption he knew would make Audrey swoon.

Audrey checked her notification while she walked up the stairs. Sam tagged her in a photo on Instagram. She wasn't expecting the photo she opened to. The caption was even more surprising.

Even when I lose, I'm still winning.

She smiled as she got to his bedroom door. She looked up at him from the doorway. He looked up for him phone. She smiled at him. She placed the bowl of chips she grabbed on the side table so she could lean down to him. She straddled him, grabbing his face to kiss him. He smiled into it.

"You're the sweetest boy ever." She whispered on his lips.

"Only because you're the best girlfriend." He replied, kissing her again.
