AAOOOSC! Playoffs

"Finally, the Cup came back!" Tommy walks into the room from the other side of the wall that separated the room into two, carrying the Stanley Cup in his hands.
"Whoa! I've hadn't seen you in a loooong time!" Sidney rushes up to the Cup, staring at the engraving in the silver trophy.
"Since 2009, right?" Pekka asks.
Pekka and Jonas came over to the NHL Basement, joining Sidney in looking after Patrick with Tommy.
"Yup! And I hoped that I won it this year!" Sidney makes a pouty look. "But mean ol' Henrik had to spray me with water and win!"
"Hey, at least he didn't win," Jonas tells Sidney.
"Yea, that's true." Sidney looks up at Tommy. "How are we gonna get our powers back now?"
"Well, we need Jonathan to activate the process since he's the one who won."
"But isn't he out of the GHP?"
"No, didn't you remember Antti telling us that he brought 'im back in?" Jonas asks.
"Oh yea..." Antti had a meeting right after he brought Jonathan back into the GHP, informing the other members that he is back. "Where is Jonny?" Sidney looks around the room with narrowed eyes.
"He should be coming..." Tommy begins walking to his computer.
The elevator dings and Jonathan stumbles out of it, leaning on the opened door. "Guys..."
Sidney, Jonas, and Pekka turn around, facing Jonathan with shocked looks. "Jonny! What's wrong?" Sidney asks.
"Niemi..." Jonathan ambles out into the room. "He...he..."
"He what?" Jonas makes an odd look.
"He...died."
Everyone makes horrified looks. "WHAAAAAAAAA?!?!?!?!‽"
"Yes...I saw him die with my own eyes... And before he past away, he named me the Master of the GHP."
"Really?" Sidney gawks at Jonathan.
"Yes. He said it. So now..." Jonathan straightens up, staring ahead valiantly. "...I'm the Master of the GHP."
"Oh really?" Tommy turns around, giving him a stop-it-with-the-joke-now look.
"Yes. It is true." Jonathan smirks, his eyes flashing a glowing blue.
"Alright then, that's nice." Tommy walks up to the new 'Master' and holds out the Stanley Cup out at him. "Touch the Cup and the GHP and others will gain their powers back."
Jonathan stares at the Cup, seeing his reflection. Then he looks ahead, seeing Patrick laying on the sofa heaven knows if he's still alive. A flashback comes into his mind:
It was the first time Sidney and Jonathan met Antti and Patrick and they were having breakfast together. Antti is not at the table and the three are just talking.
"So how long have been with Niemi?" Jonathan asked, finishing up his plate.
"Uhh..we've been friends for like...um...two years, maybe, dude? Yea..., two years, man," Patrick says.
"How did you guys become friends if you're both in different teams?"
"Oh, Antti was in the Blackhawks, dude; that's how we met, man."
"So he's like you're best friend, then?" Jonathan placed his fork on a napkin.
"Oh yea, next to Toews, dude. If anyone hurts him, then I'll come after than person and give 'em revenge. And you do not want to mess with me." Patrick pulled out his bow and rubbed it clean.
"Uhhh...is that just a warning that you're protecting Niemi from us because you don't trust us?"
"No, man, I trust you guys, dudes. Just putting that out there, man..." Patrick put back his bow away.
Patrick will go after Jonathan when he finds out that Antti is locked away... Jonathan thinks.
Jonathan snaps out of the flashback, still looking at Patrick's dirty blond wavy hair; he looks back at the Cup. "No one will get their powers back." Then the snatches the Cup away from Tommy and smashes it onto the ground.
The Cup shatters into huge pieces on the concrete floor.
Everyone looks at what Jonathan did, flabbergasted.
Jonathan looks at them with a grave, yet evil look. "No one will be powerful, 'cause I'm gonna be the powerful one! No more powers! And no one's gonna come back! And don'tcha dare mess with me because I am the Master of the--"
Jonathan's sentence is cut off by soft clanking and vibrating.
He turns around, looking down at the pieces.
The pieces begin to shake and glow, like as if they are coming to life. Suddenly, one huge chunk flies off of the ground, whizzing out into the open window that is on the left side of the room.
"What the?" Jonathan makes a confused look.
Another piece rises up quickly, whooshing towards the computer, then makes a sharp U-turn, shooting straight at Sidney; it sticks itself onto his wrist.
"Hey, look guys--I gotta a Stanley Cup bracelet! Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huh!" The 'bracelet' beings to glow vibrantly, making Sidney have a glowing outline as well. "I'm glowing! Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huh!"
"What is going on‽" Jonathan shouts, looking around at the flying pieces.
"I got my powers back!!!" Sidney shouts happyliy, having ice surround him. The 'bracelet' is no longer on him.
'Oh no...the pieces of the Stanley Cup are giving them their powers back...!" He spots a piece speeding towards Patrick. "Nooo!!!" He grabs the pieces in mid air and thrusts it at the wall, letting it smash into tiny pieces.
Tommy grabs a mason jar and looks at the pieces whizzing around like a cat looking at a hummingbird; he then traps a whirling piece into the jar. "Got it!"
The pieces continue darting out and around the room, going back to its assigned player; all the players begin regaining their powers back.
Soon, all the pieces are gone and the only people in the room that got their powers back are Sidney, Jonas, and Pekka.
"Where're--where're my powers?" Jonathan looks around with confusion.
"Oh, Jonathan, when are you ever gonna learn?" Tommy shakes his head slowly with his hands behind his back. "Don't you know the way of the pieces?"
"The pieces? No."
"Well, it seems like the the piece is not going to you, but then it makes a sharp turn and comes to you."
"That's what my piece did!" Sidney pipes in.
"Well...where's my piece?"
"You destroyed it. You thought it was going to Patrick, but if you would've waited, it would make a U-turn and come back to you."
"Wait..." A horrified look starts to grow on Jonathan's face. "I'm not gonna have any more powers...?" They just stare at Jonathan with serious looks. "But-but how could this happen‽ This is can never happen to me!!! 'Cause I'm the Master of the GHP--!!!"
"Who says you're the Master of the GHP?" a voice booms from behind Jonathan.
Everyone turns around, looking at whole just talked.
There is Antti standing in front of the elevator with a grave, yet confident look.
"Niemi? But I-I--"
"Save it Jonathan--" Antti beings walking into the room. "--this game is over. You are not the Master of the GHP." He walks next to Gorman. "Should he go to the NHL jail?"
"I give you permission to. I'll call Brodeur." Tommy walks away to his computer.
"How did you escape? Why do I not have powers? Why is this happening--?"
"Because you're under arrest!" Martin tells Jonathan, who appears next to Jonathan.
"Wha--‽"
Martin clasps handcuffs on Jonathan; the glowing effect in Jonathan's eyes disappear.
"Wait, what's going on, guys? Why am I being arrested? Help me--!"
Martin teleports with Jonathan back to the NHL Police Center.
"Everyone have their powers back?" Antti asks his sidekicks.
"Yea! I'm sooooooo happy!" Sidney claps while jumping up and down.
"Not only the GHP have their powers back, but also the neutral players got their powers back as well. But the EHP is powerless," Tommy tells Antti.
"That's great news..." Antti's eyes land on Patrick. "What's gonna happen to Patrick?"
"Well, he hadn't received his powers back." Tommy holds the jar with the piece in the air. "I kept his piece away from Jonathan--he wanted to destroy it."
"Oh good thinking. Let's get Patrick back..."
Everyone huddles around the sofa, looking down at Patrick.
Tommy dumps the piece into his hologram-like hand and places it on Patrick's wrist.
The piece begins to glow vibrantly and then turns into a billion sparkles. After that, nothing didn't really seem to happen.
"Is Patrick dead?" Sidney squeaks.
Tommy looks at Patrick with inquiring eyes. He then places his hands on his chest and then touches his hands. Tommy straightens up. "I think we're too late..." He walks back to his computer.
Everyone follows him to his computer.
"What do you mean by 'too late'?" Pekka asks.
Tommy sighs. "I mean that he's...dead."
"But that can't be true! I-I can't picture Patrick gone! Oh my, this is all my fault..." Antti places his hand on his forehead, looking terrible.
"Don't blame it on yourself, Antti." Tommy pats Antti's back as he presses a button on the huge keyboard. "Things happen for a reason..."
"Hey, guys, this place seems awfully familiar, dude..." a voice says from behind them.
They turn around, seeing Patrick sitting up with confusion while looking around the room.
"Patrick!!!" Sidney runs up the the awaken sidekick and hugs him tightly. "I'm so glad you're alive!!!"
"Oh man, first I'm at the EHP HQs, and then next thing I know, I'm being hugged by Sid dude!" Patrick shoves Sidney off of him gently.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you're back!" Antti says with a sigh of relief. "We thought you were dead."
"Dead, man?" Patrick gawks at them. "Dude, are you crazy‽ I can't die that easily now, man! But, why'd you think that?"
"Because...well, it's a loooooooooong story," Sidney replies.
"Well, dude, can I hear this loooooooong story?" Patrick smirks.
"Sure!"
So everyone sits on the sofa while Tommy is typing and clicking away on his mega-sized computer and they tell Patrick of what he missed while he was out.
