My new life

Sid's P.O.V

I was standing right in front of a bed, I don't know where I am. Who's place this is or why I am here. I could only see two people sleeping. They were both with brown hair and when I look closer it was Rebecca sleeping on Mike's chest. They look so happy, my heart fell on the ground.

"Rebecca!" I scream but they didn't wake up. She didn't wake up. I move over to her and shake her but she open her eyes. I step back and when she did so did Mike.

"Morning." she smiled.

"Rebecca what are you doing in Mike's bed?" I scream. Again she didn't hear me.

"Morning." He smiled and gave her a kiss. Then everything went dark. I heard someone say behind me.

"Don't worried daddy everything will be fine." I turn around and it was a small girl with long brown hair just like Rebecca's but it was so hard to look at her face because it was total cover with her hair. I woke up gasping for air. I look at the time and it was 9:30 AM. We got in around 2 in the morning. I try calling Rebecca and she didn't answer the phone. Then I called James.

"Hey James, is Rebecca there. She's not answering her phone."

"No, She's not here, I don't know where she's at." I drove to the bridge and she wasn't there, went to her rehab, they told me that they haven't seen her and then I try my place to see if she was heading to my place. No she didn't. Should I get worried again or is it the dream making me act this way.

Rebecca's P.O.V

In the morning I could hear someone breathing next to me. I think it's Sid, but when I saw who it was. I was in total shock.

"Morning." Mike smiled.

"What happen?"

"Well you got drunk when I got home from the game, then you told me that you are having a hard time picking."

"Picking?"

"Yeah picking who to stay with Me or Sid." I cover my face.

"Oh my god! I can't drink anymore." I look down and all I was wearing was Mike's shirt. I jump out of bed and I see all of my clothes that I was wearing. Also Mike's clothes to.

"Rebecca don't panic, we didn't do anything. You were in here with just the shirt on. You wanted to sleep with me. I just kiss you good night."

"Really. Beside I know that if you would tell Sid this he wouldn't be happy with both of us."

"I'm not going to tell him anything." I was grabbing my clothes and Mike was behind me.

"Come on Rebecca, don't drag Sid. You still love me."

"Yeah I do but I do love Sid."

"But where are you right now? You came to me when you were mad at Sid. Then once again for something that you did that made him angry at you. I don't kept secrets from you. I always told you what's on my mind. I love you and no one hasn't change it. I gave you the ring back because I though it would change your mind."

"I think I should go." I was walking out of him room.

"If you leave here, I don't want you to come back. Now you have to made a choice, Me or Sid. I can't do this anymore! I can't lose you when I though I got you back! Please don't do this to me!" Then my phone was ringing, I went into my room and answer.

"Hello."

"Oh good you answer." It was Sid.

"Hey."

"Where are you? I have been looking for you everywhere."

"You have."

"Yeah, I wanted to see how you are doing. I miss you, where are you?"

"I'm with Annie's parents."

"Are you in Pittsburgh?"

"No, I don't know when I am coming home."

"Ok, well come home soon. I love you."

"I love you to." I hung up the phone.

"So what are you going to do now?" I have no idea what to do next, at this moment someone's heart is going to break and I don't who's. Mike was just looking at me, waiting for me to say something and all I could do was to stand there. Then Mike came up to me and kiss me on the lips. When we separate his eyes were dead on me.

"Well?"

"I don't know." Then I burst into tears.

"I want you to do is go home and think about it. Wear the ring and see how that would do that for you. I want you to make a great choice. I shouldn't have rush you." When I got home I see that James hasn't done anything. Every dish was stack in the sink. When I walk to the stair I heard James door open.

"Where have you been?" James was pissed.

"I've been out."

"I know that, but where have you been. I get home and no one is here. Sid had to call me to see if you were ok because you weren't answering your phone. I was getting worried and I called Annie's parents to see if you were with them. They haven't seen you in two years. Then Sid called me telling me that you were with Annie's parents. So you lied to Sid. Please answer this question, where have you been?"

"I was with Mike." James had has hands up in the air.

"Why were you with Mike?"

"Because he cares for me and I feel that he's the only one that does!"

"I do care for you Rebecca, you just can't go back to Mike when your mad at anyone!"

"Fine." I grab my bag and headed to the door.

"Where are you going now?"

"Well since I can't go to Mike's I'm going to Sid's." Once I got to Sid's place I just wanted to cry. I knock on Sid's door. When he open it he was upset about something.

"Hey." I was going to give him a kiss on the cheek but he move so I could come in.

"So guess I just got off the phone with?"

"I don't know."

"James, he just told me that you were coming over because you two got into a fight. Then he told me something funny. That you weren't with Annie's parents when I called you, you were with Mike in D.C, again and I am getting tried of this."

"I'm sorry did you just lose a best friend, the only person I could tell anything and now I have no one I could talk to. When I needed someone Mike was there to when I was having problems with Annie."

"You have me, James, your brothers and your parents."

"Now ! Then later everything will go back to normal with my parents and I will be in the back burner. They don't care! They only care is about James being a hockey player than their only daughter won a gold."

"I just want you to tell me the truth, that's all." He came up to me and place his hands on my shoulders.

"I love you, I'm glad that your here and not with Mike. By the way I still haven't gotten my New Years Kiss yet." I did kiss him.

"Can you spend the night at my place? I need to sleep in my bed tonight." So was so good to sleep in my own bed with Sid. Once when Sid fell asleep I put on my ring that Mike wanted me to do. See what would happen. After a week of wearing the ring when Sid's not around and nothing bad has happen. I have been texting Mike saying that I need more time to see if I do want to come back and leave everything, but that includes Sid. I don't want to do that to him. I was cleaning out my bathroom and I forgot to clean out my jewelry box. When I open the box something pop, it was the ring that Sid gave me on our birthday. It's been a while since I wore it. So I took off the ring that Mike gave me and I was wearing Sid's ring. Tonight I am going to spend the night with Sid. James and I are back to normal. I'm glad that he past thing whole situation. Tonight they are playing Calgary then they have the whole week off. So Sid and I are going to Cole Harbor so I could met his family for the first time. Then after Cole Harbor we are going to fly down to New York to play the Islanders and the Rangers. They bet Calgary 4-1 and Geno got a hat trick. It was nice meeting Sid's parents and he's sister.

"Now on to New York." I pointed down the runway to the plane. Sid laugh a little. After they bet the Islander Sid and I went for a walk around the park. We were going to have dinner with the team but Sid wanted to do something else.

"I want to stay in, order food here and do nothing. Would you love that?"

"Yes I would." So we did. we stayed in our hotel room, watch movies and then he was starting to kiss me.

"You know that we are going to play a tough team tomorrow."

"I know, what you going to do about it?"

"I'm going to win with my team. However I need a little help."

"What would that be?"

"Come here and I will show you." He smiled.

They bet the Rangers and now we are heading home. About a week later from the trip from New York I was getting sick. I was going to the game tonight but I needed some rest. Sid wanted me at his place tonight.
