Chapter 2
Sid P.O.V
(The Next Day)
When I walk inside and I could only hear the music, then all of a sudden it stop. I walk inside the rink she was standing by the wall trying to think what she should do now. So I grab a seat and waited to see what she will do now. She had the remote in her hand, place it down and skate in the middle. When the music started to play . This time she did prefect and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. When she was done, I just stood up and just clap. She stop and look around to see who was clapping. When I came closer to her she had a smile on her face.
"Wow Rebecca that was amazing."
"Thanks, but how did you know that I was here?" She ask..
"Well I come to this rink during my off season. Do you come to this rink a lot?"
"No this my first time, my coach has family up here and he wanted to make sure that I'm doing my work."
"You might think that this might be weird but, I can't stop thinking that I should give you my number so we could hang out more. So what are you doing tonight?"
"We'll tonight I'm heading to L.A for another photo-shoot of seventeen magazine." I just nodded my head. I wanted to hang out with her more. Then I had a idea.
"What time is your flight?"
"At 7:25 southwest."
"Ok then I will met you at the airport."
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm going to L.A with you. I can work out in L.A."
"We'll I'm gong to spend the weekend there and going to see my friend Annie. I haven't seen her in two weeks since she was in Dallas and I have been here."
"That's no problem I would like to met her since she's a huge fan." Rebecca smiled.
"Ok, see you tonight then."
Rebecca's P.O.V
I was waiting for the flight and was confused about why Sid wanted to come with me to L.A for the week.
"Flight 5287 from Halifax to L.A is now boarding." The lady said over the speaker. When I got into my seat I get a little nervous about flying and all I have to do is close my eyes then breath. I felt someone sat next to me.
"So I can't believe that it's going to be a 6 hour flight." When I open my eyes it was Sid sitting next to me. I smiled.
"Yeah, I am not good on planes but I have done it so many times that I should get use of it."
"So was me when I was a rookie, but then I got use to it." When I flight took off I close my eyes and fell asleep. Then I felt someone waking me up.
"Rebecca we are about to land so they need you to wake up." I open my eyes and I could see that my head was sideways. I jolted up when I found out that I was sleeping on Sid's shoulder.
"Sorry about that."
"It's ok." He smiled. When we got outside of LAX it would be better that we took the same taxi so Sid knows which hotel I am going to be in.
"Where are you guys going?" The Driver asks.
"2716 N. Sunshine Rd." Then Sid started to laugh.
"What?"
"What's where my hotel is." When we got to the hotel, we went to my room first which it was on the 6 floor. His was on the 7 floor. My room number was 652 and his was 752. So his room was above my room.
"Good night Sid."
"Good night Rebecca."
Sid P.O.V
When I walk into my room, put my stuff into their place and laid on the bed. The best part of my whole day was that Rebecca put her head on my shoulder. There was a old lady walk back to her seat and told me that we look cute together. That was so nice of her even thou she doesn't know that we are just friends. Is it sad that I miss her already and it's only been 10 minutes since I left her down staris. I will see her in the morning. The whole night I was thinking what I should do to get Rebecca to like me even more. Get her breakfast, everyone loves breakfast. I don't know what kind of breakfast she likes, everyone loves pancakes. She has a photo shoot in the morning maybe something healthy. I like to eat fruit in the morning that's better than pancakes. The next thing I knew I woke up and it was 9:30 AM. Crap I hope she didn't change and leave or eat breakfast yet. So I went to the store and grab some fruit and headed to her room. When I knock on her door she had a white robe, hair crazy wet and happy to see me.
"Morning Sid."
"Morning Rebecca, I was hoping that you didn't have any breakfast." Has I showed her my bag I got her from the store.
"No, I haven't yet. Good time for you to come because I was going to brush my teeth. Did you pick any strawberries while you were at the store?"
"Yes I did."
"Good, I love strawberries." I was sitting on one of the bed that didn't get sleep on and waiting for Rebecca to change. She she came out, she was wearing sweats and a hoodie. We sat at the table and had blueberries, strawberries, watermelon and OJ.
"So what time do you have to leave for your photo shoot?"
"About an hour."
"Do you mind if I could come with you since I am not going to work out today?"
"Sure, why not." We headed down to get a taxi and headed to the studio. When we went inside the studio there were a lot of clothes, jewelry, make up and food. I was sitting behind Rebecca while she was getting her make up done. While on the beach they took a lot of photo in different clothes, which Rebecca looks amazing in everything. There was one dress that look really good on her. It was a black lace with red flats. After they took the photo, she had to do the interview. While she was doing her interview, I went to see if I could by that dress that I like on her. After I bought the dress, I ask if someone would send it back to my hotel room. I can't wait to see her face when I give it to her when I will ask her on a date tonight. About an hour later, we were headed back to the hotel room.
"I can't wait to see Annie, I'm so taking a nap before she lands. Then we are going out to this club tonight. You can join if you want to."
"Sure, that would be fun." I totally forgot about Annie and that they are going out tonight. I hope I get a date night before we leave LA.
That night, I was wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, gym shoes and my black hat on. I headed to Rebecca's room and I am going to met Annie for the first time. When I knock on the door and waited. The door was open and it look like Annie. She has red hair, green eye, blue dress with black high heels on.
"You must be Annie?"
" Yes I am and I know who you are. Your Sidney Crosby, come in." She open the door.
When I came inside, Rebecca was just getting her white heels on, she was wearing a small black dress on with white heels on. Her hair was nice and straight. She came over to me and gave me a hug.
"So dinner than club?" She ask me. After having dinner, we went to this nice night club. People were dancing to the beat. We sat in the far conner of the room.
Rebecca P.O.V
We were sitting and listening to the music when I heard my favorite song playing. "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris, so I grab Annie's hand and we go in the middle of the dance floor and started to dance. I was having a good time with Annie. I was hoping that Sid was having the same. I look a couple of times I look to see what Sid was doing. He was just sitting and watching us dance.
"You need to dance with Sid, I think he's getting bored right now!" After the song we headed back to our spot and just have drinks. Then I was getting a little bit tipsy. "Titanium (feat. Sia)" David Guetta. Instead of grabbing Annie's hand I grab Sid's.
"No, I can't dance." He told me.
"Come on, you don't have to dance. Just follow me then." He took my hand and went in the middle of the dance floor. He put his hand on my hips and I put my arms around his neck. Then he came to my ear.
"You know that I was going to ask you out tonight, but your friend Annie had to show up." I had no clue Sid was mad at me for that. Even I told him that I was going to hang out with Annie for the week. But really. I can't believe that he wanted to ask me out.
"I'm sorry, but I did told you that Annie was coming and staying for the week."
"Can I do something?" He ask. I nodded my head. He came close to my cheek and gave it a kiss.
"I wanted to do that since I spotted you at the ice rink in Halifax. After that routine which was awesome."
"How many beers to you drink tonight?" He ask me.
"I don't remember. Why, is that a problem?"
"Well your tipsy."
"Fine then, I don't need you then." Ok, what's going on. Why is he doing this? I can't stand when guys do that when they are hanging out with me, I let go and headed back to our table.
"Rebecca, where are you going.I'm sorry." He grab my hand, my hand was small to slip and I went back to the table. I told Annie that we needed to go
"What about Sid?"
"At this point I don't care any more about Sid, he's being an asshole right now." We left the club and headed back to the hotel room, I need some sleep and I was thinking of Sid is going to say tomorrow. I
hope he get's a major hangover.
In the morning, Annie and I headed down to a nice restaurant next to the beach. It was a little quiet and we just listen to the beach.
"So, what happen between you and Sid last night?"
"He was being an ass last night, he was mad that you were coming last night. He was going to ask me out last night but when I told him that I was hanging out with you. The weird thing is that he kiss me on the cheek." Annie just shook her head.
After our brunch, we headed to some shops and bought a lot of stuff. When we got back to the hotel, we were going to the beach to get a tan. Then we heard the door knock, quietly.
"Do you think that's Sid?" Annie ask. I went over to the peep hole and it was Sid.
"It's Sid, but I am not in the mood to talk to him." I whispered.
"Ok, I have an idea. Just wait in the bathroom. Put your phone on silence"
