Sid P.O.V

In the morning I still have no clue why Rebecca left the club and didn't tell me why. Yes I was growing feelings for her. I though that if I kiss her cheek, she could see how much I am growing feelings for her. When I woke up I had a major hangover. All I could think was how Rebecca was mad at me for what I said last night. I was going to see if she's still in her room. When I got out of my bed, I felt like someone took a baseball bat and hit my head. So I crawl back to bed.

When I woke up and I look at the time it was 3:00, so I grab my hat and headed down to see if Rebecca was awake. I got to the door and I didn't want to pound loud because my ears hurt to. So I knock softly, I was hoping that Rebecca will answer the door. I was wrong, it was Annie.

"Hey Sid." She smiled.

"I wanted to know if Rebecca's here?"

"No, she went to the beach to get a tan. She left her phone here, but do you remember anything about last night?"

"Well that's why I am here, Rebecca just left and I have no clue why."

"Come in, I need to tell you something." We sat down by the table.

"Rebecca is not happy with you."

"What are you talking about?"

"Rebecca in high school was the pretty of ever girl in the school. Guys would do was try to date her to get notice at school. Even jocks though it would be fun. When she heard about it, she ran home after school. Never talk to anyone and she didn't go to her own graduation. Which to me was sad, but she doesn't want to be played. In her mind of what you did last night reminder her of high school.She doesn't like guys that think that they own her already which they know nothing about Rebecca. You need to trust me because I have know her for 20 years.

"Ok, well tell Rebecca that I am sorry and I would like to say that when she's back from the beach. Can you send her to my room when she comes back?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks." I headed back to my room and I feel so embarrassed doing that in front of Rebecca. All I want to do is go back into my room, get in my bed and stay there until hockey season starts. For the rest of the day I stay in my hotel room and was hoping that Rebecca will come by and so I could say I'm sorry for what I did last night. It was around 7 PM, when my phone was ringing, I though it was Rebecca calling me. It was James that's calling me.

"Hey James."

"Hey Sid."

"What's up?"

"Nothing, I though of asking you if your headed to Dallas anytime soon."

"No, I'm in L.A, just for fun."

"Well we are going to do some staking stuff and I though if you would like to join us?" I think Rebecca and I need some space.

"Sure, why not. When do you want me to head to Dallas?"

"Tomorrow." There was a knock on the door.

"Let me call you back." I hung up the phone, open my door and it was Rebecca. She did look like she got some sun.

"Hey, come in." I open the door wider, She pass me and sat on my bed.

"Listen, I am sorry about last night. I was a jerk."

"Sid, can I say something first?" I nodded my head.

"I was there when you stop by, but I wasn't ready to talk to you yet. Annie told me not a lot of people will come by and wonder what happen last night. Even for a guy to. So I am sorry about that."

"Ok, well I wanted to give this to for you if we did go on a date last night." I went into my bathroom and grab the dress. She couldn't see it because it was in a black dress bag. I handed it to her.

"Her I got this for you." When she unzip, she had a smile on her face.

"I wore this dress at the photo-shoot. Thank you."She came over and gave me a hug.

"I wish you can wear it tonight, but I am heading to Dallas tonight."

"How come?"

"One of my team mates ask me to join them."

"Ok, my brother is at Dallas right now. I told him that he should of come but he was to busy."

"When are you coming back to Pittsburgh?"

"Saturday." Today is Thursday, so that means two days I won't be able to see Rebecca.

"Can we able to hangout, when I come back to Pitt?"

"I don't know why, just text me when you are able to." She smiled.

Friday

I was headed to the rink where James was at. When I got there, I see Matt Niskanen, Max Talbot, Jordan Staal, Brent Johnson and others I haven't met before. We staked for an hour and we are going to have lunch with the guys.

"So Sid, what have you been doing over the off-season?" James ask.

"Nothing, I was in L.A to hang out with some friends."

"No girl yet?" Max ask.

"Well there is this one girl, but I think she's that girl that likes to take things slow. The good part that she lives in Pitt so no LDR."(Long Distance Relationship)

"What, that's weird, not a lot of girls will do that." Matt said.

"Well that's a goal for Sid now." Max smiled. Friday night James and I were headed to the airport. He told me on the ride that his sister was headed into town.

Rebecca's P.O.V

Saturday morning

As Annie and I were waiting for the take off. All I could think was when am I ready to hangout with Sid.

"So when are you going to see Sid?" Annie ask.

"I don't know, at this point I want to see James and ask him."

"Why?"

"I don't know, I'm closer to James than any of the other brothers."

"When are you going to met James?"

"Tomorrow."

As I was driving my way to the restaurant, I was wearing the dress that Sid bought me. I really miss James and I can't wait to see him. Yes we live together but he was flew into Dallas last night and I just landed, change and headed to the restaurant that he love to go to. When I got into the restaurant James was already here.

"So where have you been lately?" James ask.

"I was just in L.A to do a photo shoot for Seventeen Magazine. A week before Coach Dallas wanted me to go to Halifax for training. I did a photo - shoot here. So L.A, Halifax and Pittsburgh. How long have you been in Dallas?"

"Well you live with me, but I was in Dallas just for only two weeks." So he told me what he did for those two weeks. Then I told him about what in L.A but I didn't say about Sid.

"But he lives here and he wants to hangout so I have no clue what I should do."

"Well, do I need to talk to him."

"No, I talk to him about it and he was fine about the whole thing."

"The funny part was that I was talking to Sidney Crosby and he found a girl in L.A. He told me that this girl that he likes wants to take things slow. Where you in L.A last this week?"

"Yeah, I was but if I would have told you that I have met Sidney Crosby." He shook his head, he knows that I am lying.

"So your the girl that wants to take things slow. I am very proud of you Sis." See I told Annie that we are close.

"You have to hangout with him, he's an awesome guy Rebecca." We left the restaurant, I want to give him a hug.

"I'm so happy that your back, I miss you" I smiled.

"I miss you to Sis." Then he wrap his arm around me and we headed back home.

Sid P.O.V

I was not in the mood to cook lunch so I was heading over to one of my favorite restaurant. Once I park my range rover I was walking to the restaurant and I heard a familiar voice.

"I'm so happy that your back, I miss you." I hear. I look around the conner and it was James hugging someone. When they split, I see it was Rebecca with James. She was wearing the dress that I bought her. What's going on? Is she dating James and didn't tell me. They were coming this way. I ran back into my car and hide. I know that sounds weird but I don't want Rebecca to think that I was stalking her. Once they got into her car and drove off. All I could think of how of a fool I am. But Rebecca could of told me when we were at the club after I kiss her on the cheek. Now I was not hungry anymore. Someone just punch me in the gut.

Two weeks later

I went back to Halifax to get my mind off of Rebecca and just work out. She hasn't called me, but I haven't cheek my phone in two weeks. I just keep it on the charger and silence it. Now that it's September now I have to go back to Pittsburgh of the pre-season. Before I left my house for the airport, I am now going to look at my phone. Rebecca did call me and she called me everyday. She text me.

"Why aren't you calling me? Are you there? Did I do something wrong? I know that I didn't. Please call me, I want to hang out with you. I need to tell you something, call me when you are back in Pittsburgh. I would like to have dinner with you." So what's Rebecca going to say. That we are just friends if I told her that I saw her leaving that restaurant with James Neal. I have a four hour flight to think about it. When I landed in Pitt, I just went straight to my house.

In the morning I was now heading to Consol Energy Center to work out with the team. As I was staking with Geno and Kuni. When I see Rebecca and James talking on the bench. Rebecca left and James came over to us.

"Who's that ?" Kuni ask.

"That's Rebecca my sister." James said. I was in total shock. She never told me that James was her brother. But I never ask. After practice I went for a shower, change and when I walk back to my locker I could see that everyone had left, but Rebecca, James and I. I wanted to walk over to Rebecca but I don't know if I'm able to do that.

"Sid." I turn around and James was standing next to Rebecca.

"This is my sister Rebecca which I knew you two met." So Rebecca told James what happen between us at the club.

"Hey, Rebecca."

"So your phone doesn't work anymore?"

"Sorry." Then I told them about I was close to the restaurant and saw them.

"I though you were dating James because you didn't tell me that he was your brother."

"So you jump first before you look. It's my fault because I could of told you, but I though you will notice some how."

"You two look the same. I didn't catch that."

"So now you own her a dinner." James smiled. Rebecca hit him, but she started to laugh.

"Ok, how about tonight around 7. Pick you up where?"

"James and I live together, so at my place." When I got dress and ready to go. I never been so exited like this before. For I get exited for every game but this is so different. I was hoping that she will wear the dress that I got even thou she wore it with James. As I was heading to their house, I hope that Rebecca put furniture in the house. The last time I was at his house last time there was more floor space than furniture. I knock on the door and waited. When the door was open it was James that open the door.

"Hey Sid, Rebecca is still getting ready come in." When I step inside the whole place was decorated.

"Wow, the house looks great."

"Yeah, when Rebecca wanted to live with me I told her that she had to do the whole thing. So two weeks going to ikea and bam everything was here." Then I heard someone coming down the stairs. James and I waited for her from the bottom of the stairs. She was wearing the dress that I pick out for her, but she's ten times better the third time I have seen that dress on her.

"You look amazing." James said.

"Thanks bro. So are you ready to go?"

"Yeah." She grab her purse and headed out the door.

"Be home by midnight." James said before Rebecca shut the door.

"Ok dad and I know that Coach wants to see me tomorrow." When we got into my car it was a little quiet and I have to break the ice some how.

"I was going to say the same thing James said but I don't want you to think that I'm just repeating what he said." She laugh. When we got to the restaurant I wanted to know why she never told me that she was the sister of James Neal. When we got our table.

"So when were you going to tell me that you were James Neal sister?"

"I didn't know when. I should have told you when we first met, but I didn't want to tell James that I met you. Then he would tell me to stay away from you. But when James found out he was cool about it, so there's something about you that he likes."

"Well I am the captain of the team."

"True." We had a nice dinner and when we got back in the car. I had the radio on but not that loud to be rude. Rebecca scared me a little when she smile wide witch I bet it's her favorite song. I knew this song.

"Superwomen by Alicia Keys." I pointed out. She nodded her head and started to sing. Man she's has a nice voice. When we got to her place.

"You have a nice voice."

"I don't James tells me that he could hear my voice while I'm in the shower and it sounds like I'm killing a cat."

"Well James is death any way." She laugh. When we got back to her house, I walk her up to the front door.

"Good- Night Sid."

"Good-Night Rebecca." Gave her a hug and went home.

Rebecca P.O.V

Once my alarm woke me up, headed in the shower and thinking of what Coach Dallas wants to do today. But that didn't happen. All I was thinking was the dinner I had with Sid last night. I like that I smile for all of the good reasons. When I look at him that whole night, I didn't remember that night in that club in L.A.

When I got to the rink I wanted to run into the building because it's so cold but I don't want to go in. Remember Sid does this everyday at 5 AM. You can do this. When I got into the building, put on my stakes and now waiting on Coach Dallas.

After a good practice Coach Dallas and I were heading to the car.

"So when's the next torment starts?"

"It's starts Oct 12 - 18at 4:00 Pm in Seattle. We have to leave on the 10"

"Good, so we have three more months then."

"I have good news."

"Yeah?"

"You get the week off because I know that your birthday is on a Tuesday."

"Thanks coach." I totally forgot about my birthday and it's also Sid's birthday. I bet Annie has something plan for me or us.

Annie P.O.V

I got almost everything plan, I just need to do one more thing. I headed over to Rebecca and James place to see if James was still there. I knock on the door and hoping that James was there. He was.

"Hey Rebecca is still training."

"I know I am here for you."

"Ok, come in." Once I got into the kitchen I turn around and James gave me a kiss.

"You have no idea how much I wanted to kiss you. I'm tired of waiting for you when Rebecca is not here."

"We do have text and she doesn't even look at our phones. She has not clue, but I am here to see if you could get Sid and Rebecca together so I could get both to their birthday together."

"I could do that, but do you have a plan."

"Yes."

August 7 8:00 AM.

I headed back to their place. James let me in and I had her outfit, bag of make up and my stuff to. James gave me a kiss on the temple. I budge a little to make sure that Rebecca didn't see.

"She's still sleeping." He rolled his eyes at me.

"Oh, ok." I kiss him on the lips. I headed up to her room and open the door.

"Good morning birthday girl!"

"Go away Annie, let me sleep."

"So you don't want to see what I got you for your birthday. Also the outfit that I want you to wear at your party." She jump out of her pillow. I handed her the bag. When she open the bag she had a big smile on her face. It was a black, teal maxi dress with brown boots. Golden wrist bands.

"Thanks Annie." She got out of bed and gave me a hug. The whole morning and afternoon we just hangout. I did her make up and I got ready to. Before we headed to the party, I need to grab one more thing at a wallgreens, but I needed Rebecca to grab it for me.
