Angelia

Setting: Angelia’s bedroom/Hockey rink of the Imagination
Angelia is sitting once more on her bed. Her laptop is before her. She looks stumped.

ANGELIA
This is just so difficult! I can’t choose who I want! Jonathan’s such a sweetheart, but so is Patrick! Ugh! Maybe if I sing about it….yeah! I’ll try that. Well, I’ll have them sing about it. That should help me out, right?

She begins to type out another song. Jonathan and Patrick enter. Jonathan isn’t hobbled or hurt and Patrick isn’t tied up. This is a different scene, so it makes sense.

JONATHAN
(crossing to stand in the bedroom door)
I'm back at the corner
Where we said goodbye
I turn and I see you
But don't trust my eyes
You look at me
And I can't breathe

(He enters and comes to stand by Angelia’s bed.)

PATRICK
(stands against the back wall)
Had every word perfect
For when this day would come
I'm standing here, now I

(He stands on the opposite side of the bed, from Jonathan.)

BOTH
I close my eyes every time I wake up

(Patrick offers his hand, kindly to Angelia, who takes it and slides off of her bed.)

PATRICK

(He blows her a kiss, as they return to the bed. Angelia sits back down.)

BOTH
I close my eyes every time I wake up

(Jonathan now offers her his hand and she gladly takes it, sliding once more off the bed. He gives her a wink and smoldering look.)

JONATHAN

(He lets Angelia go. She remains standing, watching them.)

BOTH
I close my eyes every time I wake up

PATRICK

JONATHAN

The two walk off once more, exiting. Angelia drops back onto her bed.

ANGELIA
Dammit!

She drops her head, still unsure.

I feel like this would be a really feeling, emotional song if Chicago ever had to break up Kaner and Tazer, which would NEVER happen!! You can NEVER break them up! They were in this from the beginning and they will retire, ending it together! KANER AND TAZER FOR LIFE! :D XD
