OPENING
“You always want it in a sense,” Cramarossa said. “It’s nice to be a topic of discussion — whether it’s good or bad — and you’ve got to fight through it. It’s the nature of the sport and that’s what makes you a pro.”

Cram, Ritch, Hampu, Josh, and Ondřej are chilling by the poolside in Cabo San Lucas.
Josh: This is exactly what we needed. When we hit the ice again, we’re gonna kill it out there!
Ondřej: And go to the playoffs!
Cram: To win that Cup.
Ritch: And then we can own the team and…
Cram glowers at him
Ritch: When I retire.
Hampus: Ooo, it’d be great if we can win the Cup! Ricky and I would bring it to Sweden and share it with everyone there!
Cram: Including Maxi?
Hampus: Oh yes, of course! Maxi must see the Cup!
Ondřej: I will bring the Cup to Kadaň and do the same. Without Maxi, since he’s not from the Czech Republic. But Maxi can come.
Cram: I’ll definitely bring the Cup to Maxi when I win it. And I won’t let Mikey touch it.
Josh: Why won’t you let your brother touch it?
Cram: Because he needs to win it himself to get it.
Ritch: I’d eat out of it.
Everyone stares at him.
Hampus: Ooo, what would you eat out of it?
Ritch: Hmmm… *thinks hard* Hamburgers, BBQ ribs, maybe hot dogs…
Cram: I better get the Cup before you.
*phone rings*
Josh: Who bring their phone to the pool? We’re here to relax!
Cram pulls out his phone. Shows it to Josh. It’s Monty calling.
Josh: Nevermind.
Cram answers it and stands up.
Cram: What?
Cut to Monty, who is standing in the tunnel at the Nest in a sweatjacket and sweatshirt. It’s super dim and cold compare to the sunny and warm scenery in Mexico
Monty: Hey Joey! How you doing?
Cram: Fine. You?
Monty: I’m doing good. Just arrived at the rink early...two hours early because I set my alarm two hours early thinking it’s a Ducks’ practice.
Cram: *scoffs* Having to wake up early, Monty Muffins?
Monty: *gumbles* Yes.
Cram: Well, *stands by a beautiful railing, overlooking the pool and ocean* I woke up when I wanted to, had the best Mexican breakfast, and now I’m chilling with the guys by the poolside.
Monty: *standing grumpily as the zamboni goes by* Nice. *bitterly*
Cram: Yeah, it is nice. Got a couple more days before I have to shoot back up to Anaheim. *rolls eyes*
Monty: IF you go back to Anaheim.
Cram: What do you mean “if”? I’m GOING back up there.
Monty: But aren’t you on waivers?
Cram: *halts* Yeah. But that doesn’t mean I’m outta the Ducks.
Monty: But you CAN be.
Cram: But I’m not. As far as I know, I’m still part of the team. You want me kicked out?
Monty: No! Nononononoooooo not at all! I just…uhhh...didn’t want your hopes to be shattered if you did get claimed off waivers.
Cram: I’m not worried about it. Right now, it’s just Cabo and the guys and me. The team can do whatever they want.
Monty: Uhhhh okay… *spots Jaycob* Hey, uh, someone finally came...or wandered in. I’ll leave you.
Cram: Alright, bye Monty.
Monty: Bye, Joey.
Cram: *hangs up* *scoffs* Being claimed off waivers. *goes back to group*
Josh: Hey, you hungry, Joey?
Cram: *sits back down* I can go for something.
Ritch: Let’s have...tortas…!
Ondřej: What’s that?
Ritch: It’s like...a Mexican hamburger.
Hampus: Mmmm, that sounds yummy yummy!
Ritch: It is! Fluffy, crusty bread slathered with beans and stacked with shredded lettuce, fresh sliced tomatoes and onions, buttery avocado, and warm, juicy chopped meat drizzled with flavourful salsa…
Hampus: *is drooling with Ritch* That sounds goooooood…
Josh: Well, there’s a great torta stand close by. *stands up* Let’s go, guys. *walks out*
Everyone else follows him.
At the torta stand by the beach.
Joey’s phone goes off again.
Josh: Seriously, Crammer, why do you bring your phone.
Cram: *pulls out phone* Why would I NOT bring my phone? I need it. *looks at it* I’ll be back, I gotta take this. *walks off*
Joey: *answers the phone* Hello? *pauses* *faces morphs to show disbelief*
Back at the table, the others are happily eating their food.
Hampus: Mmmm, this IS yum yum!
Ritch: See?
Ondřej: If only these are sold in my hometown.
Josh: Great choice, Big Ritch. These are the bomb.
Hampus peers ahead. He spots Crammer with his back facing them. He has his phone by his side in his hand.
Hampus: Crammer? Crammer Slammer…!
Cram is staring ahead, trying to process everything.
Josh: Ritch is eyeing your torta--You better get it before he takes it.
Ritch is indeed eyeing his torta.
Ondřej: Joey?
Cram finally turns back around. He has a stone look again. Sits back down.
Josh: Who was that--?
Joey: Nothing.
Hampus: *tilts head* What’s wrong? You look mad.
Ritch: He always looks mad.
Cram scowls at him.
Ritch: See?
Ondřej: Speak, Joey. Something’s wrong.
Joey pulls out phone. Types on it. Slides phone to the middle of the table.
Joey: I’m leaving tonight.
Everyone peers down at it. It’s a news article about:
Joey: I’ve been claimed off waivers. By the Canucks.
