Forever and Always

Madeline Gilmore rolled down her window as she let the Markham, Ontario summer air into her Range Rover. She smiled as she turned onto Sachem Road she missed this road. It was a really a good road one filled with memories not all of them sober ones. She turned into Number 80's driveway and punched in the code so that the gates could open. Once they did she rolled in and parked next to a shiny new Gray Audi S6 She couldn't believe he bought it without talking to her, at least send your girlfriend a picture of your new car. She shut her car off and grabbed her iPhone from her Celine bag sitting on the passenger seat. "I am here." She pressed send and got out of the car, making her way to the front door and ringing the doorbell to be polite to his parents.

The door opened and there stood Aaron Ekblad. Tanner then ever, he looked taller and more bulkier then the last time she saw him, May weekend at BC. That was a really good weekend. She leaned up against the doorway. "Hey." She smirked at him. "Do I know you?" He smirked his signature Aaron smirk and picked her up kissing her. "How's my little college graduate?" Aaron couldn't make it to her graduation a couple days earlier because of a game. She understood, she signed up for him missing events in her life when she accepted the title of his girlfriend five years earlier. "I am good! How's my Norris Trophy nominee?" It was a huge honor for Aaron to even get nominated for the Norris, and the NHL Awards weren't for another month but she was still proud of him. "I am better now that your here finally." The Panthers once again didn't make the playoffs. But they were closer then ever. She was sure next year they would make it. "I am just happy to be home, finally." She kissed him again, her hands ruffling through his hair, she missed this. She missed them.

Morgan Rielly was in Aaron Ekblad's room playing NHL 16. He couldn't wait until NHL 17 was released, he was in the running for the Cover. He just hoped he would get votes from the fans. He glanced down at his phone. He gave the love birds ten minutes alone. He just wanted to run down the stairs and see his best friend. He missed Madeline deeply, and now next year he was going to play with her. She signed officially with the TML a few days earlier. And he needed to talk to her about some wedding details. This summer he was getting married to his girlfriend Lauren. Oh sorry "Fiance" the title was brand new, only a couple months but she wanted to get married pronto. He was going for a long engagement but he didn't really have his way. "Hey I'll be home shortly. I am just saying Hey to Mads." he clicked send and locked his phone leaving it next to his controller as he left Aaron's room and bounced down the stairs.

The two love birds were pressed up against the front door, making out. Wasn't a sight he wanted to see. Barf. "Come on guys! Seriously?" The two of them broke apart at a record speed. He walked down the rest of the stairs and brought Madeline into a hug. "It's good to have you back Mads. I've missed you." She kissed his cheek and hugged him back. "You don't know how much i've missed you Morgsy! I can't believe your getting married! I am so happy for you and Lauren." He knew she wasn't so pleased. Her and Lauren didn't get along from day one. But she did put up a good act for him. "Thanks M. Well I'll let you guys get some time alone with each other. I have to meet L for a cake tasting." He grabbed his keys from his pocket and walked out the front door.

"I can't believe he's getting married. Our Morgan. He's only 22!" Aaron threw his arm around Madeline's shoulder and guided her up to his room. He really needed to get his own house soon. "Yeah I know. I can't wrap my head around it. And she's so evil." The two of them absolutely hated Lauren Milton but they would never tell Morgan that. They just dealt with her. They walked into Aaron's room and locked the door. "Well hello there stranger." She smirked kissing him again as her hands slid under his Panthers t-shirt. Aaron backed up towards his bed when he slipped and fell. Madeline letting out a laugh as he fell right onto his ass. "Fucking Morgan! Forgot his phone."

He handed Morgan's phone to Mads as she punched in his code. "I'll tell Lauren he doesn't have his phone so she won't freak out." She clicked messages and clicked onto Lauren's name. "Can you like get here. Why is Madeline Gilmore always ruining our plans. Or getting in the way of them." That was the last text Lauren sent to Morgan. "Oh hell no." Aaron got up and walked over to her, peering over her shoulder. "Just reply saying the idiot forgot his phone. And do not get involved Mads we're in our twenties now. We're not teenagers anymore." She had some few choice words for Lauren Milton, puck slut from Stoufville. But she would save them for when she saw her face to face. "M left his phone here. I'll drop it off in his Mailbox when I go home later. Tell him that when he gets there. Thanks. Mads." She dropped Morgan's phone onto Aaron's nightstand and sat on Aaron's bed. "Not everyone is going to love you M." Aaron came over to her and sat down next to her. "I know. But you do. Now shirt off Ekblad. I need to get reacquainted with your beautiful abs again." She smirked at him. She loved home. It's where her heart was. And this summer was going to be an interesting one.
