Toxic

He had the looks; perfect white, straight teeth, crystal clear baby blues, a head full of golden curls, and a chiseled body that shows he worked for the muscle, not so much it's disgusting but the right amount to make others jealous. His personality came off as cocky at times, but when he flashes his baby blues and crooked smirk, it makes you forget and you're just another victim to fall for his charm. But that's what others see, and at first that's what I seen too.

No one knew him like I did. It was my job to protect him from the truth of what he does to me, from our friends and family. The media would eat him alive if they found out, which would ruin all of the hard work he put in to clean up his reputation. I couldn't do that to him, I wouldn't allow them to think he was a monster. The situation was extremely toxic, I knew that and it was slowly wearing down on my emotions, but he never hit me.
