Allison's POV:

The next four months went by fast. Time sure knows how to fly by when you're with people you love...James and I were working on things, but nothing was official. Jennifer had recieved monthly visitation rights for Nolan and the lawyers agreed on the third week of every month.

Sidney is letting me stay at his place till James and I can sort things out, so I was by myself since Sid was in Canada for the weekend. I had just finished the dishes when my phone rang, "Hello?"

"Allison! It's me." James' voice said

"Hey...where are you calling from?" I asked not recognizing the number

"The hospital. Jen is in labor and I wanted you to be here. Jen's OK with it...Paulie is coming to pick you up at Sid's." he replied

I smiled, "Okay...Are you sure she is OK with it?"

"Yeah. She understands that you're going to be in my children's lives..." he said

"Alright." I replied, hearing a car horn honk. "Paul is here...I'll see you soon."

"See you in a few...and Allison?" James started

"Yeah?" I asked

"I love you."

I didn't really know what to reply. I mean I did love him...but I didn't know we were 'that way'. "I gotta go...bye." I blurted out, hanging up. I grabbed my things and headed out to Paul's car and climbed inside.

"Hey...what's wrong you look sick..." he commetned

"I'm fine..." I lied

"Liar."

"It's nothing, Paul..."

"That's bullshit. It's something. Tell me."

"It's just...I don't know where me and James stand...like he tells me he loves me all the time and it's like...he hasn't really asked me back out...I don't know if I should just assume...or what..." I confessed

"I'd talk to him about it. I mean he probably assumes it's understood that you're together? I don't know..." he replied

"Yeah..." I sighed

"Is that all?" he asked

I nodded, "Basically..."

"I'd just talk to him about it once everything calms down." he replied pulling into a parking spot at the hospital. We headed inside and Paul went up to the counter, "Can you direct us to the maternity ward please? My friend is having a baby."

"Sure. The second floor." the nurse replied smiling

"Thank-you." Paul replied before heading towards the elevator. We got to a waiting room and James came up to us.

"Nothings changed, yet." he said hugging Paul then me. "Come on and sit down. This is Emilee, Jen's sister in case you all didn't know."

"Hi." Paul said waving

Emilee smiled and waved back, "Hi."

Just then, a little red haired nurse came out of the room, "James? Jennifer wants you."

"Okay." he called back, giving me a little smile...

James' POV:

I walked into the room and over to Jen, grabbing her hand she squeezed it tightly. "Thanks for being here." she breathed before screaming in pain.

"I wouldn't have missed it for anything." I replied, holding her hand

She smiled faintly at me before screaming again. "Okay, Jen, the baby is starting to crown. One more push!"

Jenny squeezed my hand hard and all of a sudden, we heard crying. Jen breathed hard and started crying as they showed us ou daughter before taking her to check her out and clean her off. I smiled at Jen and wiped off her forehead. "I'm going to run and tell the others that she's born and I'll be back, OK?"

Jen nodded, "Okay."

I ran to the waiting room, "The baby is here! I'll be back later with more information." I announced running back to the room.

Jen was holding our daughter smiling, "Isn't she beautiful? She's 7lbs 5oz and 18 inches long."

I smiled and sat by Jen looking down at our daughter. She had the biggest eyes I have ever seen. "Hi, sweetie. I'm your daddy."

Jen smiled at me, "We haven't picked out a name yet..." she started

I nodded, "I know..."

"Lyvia? Lyvia Alexis Neal?"

I smiled, "That's perfect. Hi, Lyvia."

"Do you want to hold her?" Jen asked

I nodded and she handed Lyvia to me. I smiled down at her as she laid in my arms, looking up at me. "She's perfect."

Jen nodded, "She is."

The nurse came in, "Jen, are you ready to try feeding?"

Jen nodded and I handed Lyvia back to her, heading to the waiting room to update the others. "Do we have a name?" Paulie asked

I smiled and nodded, "Lyvia Alexis Neal. She's perfect."

Nolan came running up to me, "Daddy, can I see sissy now?"

I laughed and picked him up, "Soon. Mommy has to spend some alone time with her."

"Okay, daddy. Does auntie Allison get to stay with us tonight?" he asked

I looked over at Allison, she looked at me giving a small smile. "I don't know...ask her."

Nolan looked over at Allison, "Pretty please?!" he begged

Allison smiled, "Okay."

"Yay!" Nolan called. "Can I go play with Paul?"

I laughed and sat him down, walking over to Allison. "Can we talk?"

She nodded, "It'd be best..."

We went down the hall a bit, "So...I have to ask you something."

"Okay...ask." she said

I took a deep breath, "Well...I know I haven't been the greatest person in the whole world and that things are rough between us right now, but I love you...I want to be with you...I guess what I'm saying is...Allison...will you marry me?" I aksed, pulling out the ring

"James...I..." she gasped

"I know this isn't a romantic proposal...but I couldn't wait...I want to marry you Allison."

Allison looked up at me and smiled, "Yes! I'll marry you."

I smiled, pulling her into a hug and kissing her.
