Jamie POV

“It’s an old friends of Sara’s” I cut in before Sara could answer. She shot me a look but I winked at her quickly hoping that she would go along with the joke. It had been too tense around here lately and it was time for a good old fashion joke.
“Old friend” Tyler repeated to himself as if it held a greater meaning. “She’s bringing him to the game in Montreal” he said looking at Sara like a little puppy.
“Don’t worry about it Ty” Holly said giving Ty’s shoulder a quick squeeze before heading up the stairs to our bedroom.
“Ty it’s late, we’ll deal with it in the morning” I said to Tyler, he didn’t answer but nodded his head and gave a quick wave before heading back out into the night. I locked the door and closed the lights behind me as I climbed up the stairs after my wife.
“You’re dealing with the aftermath of that,” Holly said with a smirk as I entered the bedroom.
“I’ll tell him before the game in Montreal” I answered with a smile “plus he plays better when he thinks he has something to prove” I added, which was true.
“You guys leave tomorrow right?” she asked and I could see she was a little sad.
“Yeah, 4 game road trip” I said taking my shirt off. We were leaving in the morning for Toronto then headed to Ottawa, Montreal, and then Florida on the way back home.
“Is it selfish of me to say that I don’t want you to leave?” she asked as she pulled out one of my t-shirts from her drawer.
“I wondered where that shirt went,” I said with a smirk as I pulled her so her body was pressed against mine.
“Jamie” she whined.
I bent my head to kiss her neck, nibbling on the soft spot at the base, which caused a little moan to pass her lips.
“I don’t want you to go,” she whispered again as she ran her fingers through my hair.
“I’m not going anywhere right now” I said as I lifted her up and wrapped her legs around my waist. She grabbed my head between her small hands and planted a kiss on my lips.
“I love you Jamie Benn,” she said after.
“I love you more Holly Benn,” I answered before laying her on our bed and crawling on top of her. I grabbed her left hand in mine and put it over her head letting my right arm support my body above hers. I looked at our hands together, both our wedding rings glimmering in the dim light of our bedroom.
“Kiss me again,” She whispered.
“Where?” I answered. She took her free hand and pointed at her cheek, which I placed a light kiss on.
“Again” she says and points at her other cheek.

Holly POV

I woke up and I could feel Jamie looking at me, twirling a piece of my hair between his fingers.
“What time do you leave today?” I mumble without opening my eyes. My body is sore from the activities of the night before.
“In four hours” he answers. I run my hand up and down his warm chest, I don’t want him to leave. I open my eyes and Jamie’s warm brown eyes are looking at me with a small frown.
“I just got home,” I said pulling myself closer to him.
“Come with me?” he said the confusion on my face must have been obvious because Jamie laughed.
“Not funny Jamie” I said.
“I know we said no road trips but I’ll talk to coach, I’m sure they won’t mind”
“You sure you’re okay with that Jamie,” I said with a raised eyebrow. Jamie and I had agreed when we got together that road trips were like business trips. We had heard of girlfriends who didn’t trust their boyfriends and tagged along on every trip. I trusted Jamie with my whole heart and I didn’t want to make him think otherwise.
“Baby you’re the one that never wanted to come” Jamie laughed “You were going to join me in Montreal anyways right?”
“Yeah”
“Well come with me then” Jamie said with a smile.
“Okay” I said giving him a kiss “Call who you have to, I’ll go pack” I said pulling myself out of bed.

“Careful everyone we got an extra Benn on our hands” Taylor called as he watched you and Jamie walk into the airport terminal.
“The best Benn” I said with a smirk.
“Hey now” Jordie said with fake annoyance.
“It’s about time you came on trip with us, I was starting to think you hated us” Antoine said to you in French.
“Maybe I do,” I answered.
“Hey no language changing” Kari said with a smile before saying something Finish.
“French forever!” Antoine said with laugh, which earned him a punch in the arm from Kari.
“This is going to be fun,” I said grabbing Jamie’s free hand. He was scrolling through his twitter mentions when a name caught your eye. “Did my sister tweet you?” I said as a whole rush of emotions took over my body.
