Sara POV

“Today was fun. Thanks for keeping me upright” I smiled to Tyler who in the middle of trying to get the skates off my feet. My feet were killing me and I couldn’t wait to get these skates off.
“No problem” he smiled as he loosened the laces on my skates.
“I should give you your jersey back,” I said while moving to pull it off.
“Nah keep it. You’re going to need it for tonight” he said while moving to sit in the stall next to me.
“Tonight?” I asked.
“Yeah you and Hols are coming to the game tonight”
“And you want me to wear your jersey?” I said testing the water. It had only been a couple weeks but Tyler had been nothing but sweet with me and I couldn’t stop the butterflies growing in my stomach. Tyler froze and I could see his cheeks turning red.
“If you want” he answered after a small pause.
“I do,” I said with a smile.

“We’re going out after the game tonight so bring a change of clothes” Holly said while hoping onto my bed.
“Umm you have fun with that I don’t really feel like it” I answered.
“It wasn’t a suggestion I was just letting you know. We haven’t gone out together in a long time and I’m not letting you make excuses,” she said rolling over so that she could get up.
“Damn you Holly Benn” I mumbled as she walked out of the room. I had plans for tonight and she was ruining them. I twirled the pill in my pocket. It was my last one and I had to make it count.

Holly POV

The club was in full swing by the time we got to it. Sara had been acting weird all night. She couldn't stop fidgeting during the game and was being very cold with me. I told Jamie about it and he promised to to try and keep his eyes on her during the night.

Everything was going as smooth as it could. Holly was keeping her distance, she seemed to be drinking a lot which didn't really bother me but there was just something that didn't feel right. My suspicions were confirmed when I heard a fight break out near the bar and saw Tyler in the middle of it.
Mine and Jamie’s eyes met and I could see the hint of recognition in his eye.
“Stay here” Jamie mouthed to me but I couldn’t listen and followed him out of the VIP section.
“Ty grab her and let’s go” Jamie yelled over the music.
“This asshole drugged her” Tyler yelled back, his first closed around the guys shirt. I moved around Jamie so I could get to Sara who was leaning on the wall.
“Sara” I said while slapping her face lightly hoping it would wake her up.
“Hawls homme ok??” she slurred. I needed to get her out of here and I needed to do it soon. I turned to see that Jamie managed to get Ty to let go of the guy but it still looked pretty heated.
“Ty we need to get her home,” I yelled at him hoping taking care of her would distract him from his rage. He didn’t say anything as he lifts Sara into his arms

“Ty pass me the water” I say breaking the silence in the car. Jamie was driving and Tyler was trying to calm down in the passenger seat.
“I should have beaten the shit out of that guy, who does that?” Tyler said as he passed me the water bottle. Jamie looked at me in the review mirror and I know he was telling me not to say anything.
“She’s going to be okay and that’s all the matters Ty” I said hoping that would help.
We pulled into the house and Ty brought Sara to her room, tucking her in and refusing to leave her.
“How’s she doing?” Jamie asked when I went down to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
“She’ll be okay’” I said standing on the other side of the counter from him.
“Holly” he said.
“I know”
“This is bigger than we thought”
“I know”
“No one drugged her Hols, I had my eye on her the whole night” he said
"I know,” I said trying to suppress tears.
“Holly look at me" Jamie said walking across the kitchen so he was in front of me. I looked up and saw the worry on Jamie's face. I know all this scared Jamie, probably even more than it scared me. "You might not be able to save her okay? I don't want this to hurt you if you can't help her"
"I have to try" I answered letting the tears fall from my face. Jamie pulled me to his chest and rubbed my back as my tears stained his shirt. "Was I like that?" I whispered after a while.
Jamie didn't answer but his grip on me tightened. It was like my past was coming back to haunt me.
