Summary
Every girl, as they get older, is given advice as to what to do when it comes to boys and falling in love. Most girls compile a checklist of things they want in a man: wealthy, good hair, good with kids, amazing in bed. But as Adelaide Preston's life goes on, instead of imagining her perfect man she compiles a list of rules.
Rules about falling in love.
Rules that had been passed down from her sisters, as well as a few she had discovered as she grew up. The list, since finished, had always been her go to, but the list never warned her that one day she could meet someone that could make her want to throw the rules out the window.
To Adelaide Preston the number fourteen wasn’t just a number, or the number on the back of his jersey, it was the number of rules to remember when you’re falling in love.
