Chap 8.
Karly was making soup and tuna salad for her, Jasper's, and Nikki's visit. She wasn't quite sure how she was going to tell them about Sidney, but she knew she had to sooner or later. She was just turning the soup down when the doorbell went off. "Hey!" Karly said
"Karly!!" Nikki said hugging her "I feel like I haven't seen you in weeks!"
"It has been weeks." Jasper said with a laugh giving Karly a hug
"I've been kinda busy." Karly said with a laugh
"Yeah with your 'friend'." Nikki said with a laugh "Tell me about him Karly!!!"
"After lunch!" Karly said
"Oh boy..." Jasper said
The girls laughed "Oh Jasp...you know you love us."
"I do, but I will stay around to hear about this boy. Cause if he hurts my cousin...well...yeah." Jasper said
"I doubt he will, Jasp. He's a really sweet guy." Karly said smiling
"Well, let's eat!" Nikki said
After lunch, Karly put the dishes in the dishwasher and sat back at the table to eat dessert. "So, spill Karly." Jasper said
"Well...he's really nice and he's very respectful and polite. His friends are great." Karly said
"What's his name?" Nikki asked
Karly cleared her throat "Sidney Crosby."
"WHAT?!?! You know Sidney Crosby?!?!?!?! Oh my gosh...how?!" Nikki squealed
"I went jogging and we bumped into each other...we just hit it off right away. I like him a lot." Karly said
"Will I ever get to meet him?! Are you guys like dating? Have you kissed him?" Nikki said
Jasper rolled his eyes "Shit, Nikki, relax!"
"Yes, probably. Not yet, but I hope and yeah we kissed." Karly replied
"Well, if he ever hurts you...let me know. I'm not scared of him. I'll kick his ass if he hurts you...I doubt he will, but if he does." Jasper said
"I will, Jasp." Karly said
"Good. Now, let's watch a movie." Jasper said
"I wanna know more about Sidney!" Nikki whined
Karly laughed "You can stay the night. We'll watch a movie with Jasper and when he leaves I'll tell you more."
"Yay!" Nikki said
Jasper shook his head "Are you sure you want to introduce him to Nikki...he'll be scared."
"Shut the fuck up!" Nikki yelled
"You two..." Karly said
