Karly and Sidney were at Karly's for lunch the following day. The Penguins' first game of the season was coming up and Sidney had wanted to hang out before he got really busy. "So did you and your cousins have fun?" Sidney asked
Karly nodded "Yeah, we had a good time."
"Good. Did you tell them about me?" he asked
"Yeah. Nikki wants to meet you." Karly said laughing
Sidney smiled "I'd love to meet your cousins."
"For real?" Karly asked
Sidney nodded "They're a part of your family."
"Yeah, true." Karly said
"Maybe sometime when I get an off-day, but not today. I just want to spend time with you today." he said
Karly smiled "You're so sweet, Sid."
He blushed "Thank-you."
Karly leaned over and kissed him on the cheek "So how was your day yesterday?"
"Good. So nice to be on the ice again. It felt great." Sidney replied smiling
Karly loved how happy he was when he was talking about hockey "That's great, Sid."
Sidney laughed "You have really pretty smile."
Karly blushed "Thank-you. So what time is the game this weekend?"
"7:30. Like usual." Sidney said "Can you come? I really want you to see me play live."
"Well, I don't know." Karly said "I mean aren't tickets hard to get?"
Sidney chuckled "Three tickets for you, Jasper, and Nikki." he said handing her an envelope
Karly's mouth dropped "How did you...when...how'd you even know I'd say yes?"
Sidney laughed again "Just had a feeling."
"Oh really? Or are you just that arrogant?" she joked
"Oh yeah." Sidney said with a smile "So um...Karly...can we talk about something?"
Karly's stomach got tied in knots "Um sure...what's on your mind?"
"You." Sidney said with a straight face. "I guess what I'm trying to say is...I think about you all the time...you're such a beautiful, strong, amazing, wonderful girl...and I'm completely crazy about you. Since that day we met, I just felt something...like you were the missing puzzle piece in my life...I don't even know how to describe it."
Karly could barely speak "Sidney...I...I don't know what to say."
"Well you can start by saying you'll be my girlfriend?" Sidney said with a huge smile
"Yes, Sid!" Karly said
Sidney smiled and kissed her "Tonight, we're going out as official boyfriend and girlfriend."
Karly smiled "I'm so lucky...I have the best boyfriend in the whole world."
Sidney laughed "I believe I have the best girlfriend in the world."
Karly kissed him "So...you really have to meet my cousins now."
Karly nodded "Yeah, we had a good time."
