Arrow Hawk: Birth of the Hockey Avengers
Quick Save Captures Arrow Hawk
Three hours later...
The Hockey Avengers are on a Chicago Highway in Downtown, near the river. There is a ton of chaos from their fight.
“Arrow Hawk! Take the shot!” Zvezda shouts or the roar of the chaos around them.
Arrow Hawk raises his bow and arrow up. Zvezda stands next to him. He aims at the villain. A few feet away, standing on top of a turned over car, is Quick Save (who is now identified as Jonathan Quick), the miscreant. He is battling with Scorpion and Star Vision. Arrow Hawk draws back his bow and lets an arrow fly right in the direction of the villain.
Scorpion goes for a knock-out kick but misses and is shoved backward. Star Vision dashes to his side and aids him to his feet. Quick Save stops the arrow though and crushes it before it can explode. He begins to laugh.
“Nice try Hunger Games,” Quick Save snaps.
“Was no finish!” Arrow Hawk exclaims, in a thick Russian accent.
Arrow Hawk lets a second arrow fly at Quick Save. This time the villain isn’t aware of the shot and the arrow hits him in the shoulder and then explodes, sending the wicked fiend flying backward, off the car. He slams into a building and crashes to the ground.
“Nice shot, Arrow Hawk! Chubbs get off of me, this looks weird!” Scorpion cries out from the arms of Star Vision, who has wrapped him up in a hug, instinctively tapping into his sacrificial captain instincts.
“Thanks. I trick him good!” Arrow Hawk says, coming forward with Zvezda.
“Uh guys, Quick Save's not—” Star Vision is cut off by a fist to his face. His protective eyewear flies off and green laser beams shoot from his eyes, narrowly missing Scorpion.
“Chubbs, careful!” Scorpion scolds.
Quick Save wraps his arm around Star Vision’s head. He holds a golden staff that resembles a goalie’s hockey stick in his hand and it suddenly morphs into a sword. He presses the blade to the hero’s neck. Scorpion, Arrow Hawk and Zvezda face them, holding position.
“Hey, hey is this really necessary, man?” Star Vision questions, pushing at the villain’s hand.
“Quick Save, let him go. What do you want?” Zvezda asks.
Star Vision kicks back at Quick Save and connects with his leg. He tears free from the villain’s grasp and runs to the heroes.
“Whatever! You can go free Star Vision, it's not you I am after,” Quick Save growls. He releases Star Vision and shoves him toward Scorpion.
Scorpion halts him, grabbing his friend’s arm. “Then who or what?”
Quick Save smirks devilishly. “Not what.”
“Who?” Arrow Hawk questions, cocking his head, curiously.
“You!” Quick Save spits.
Zvezda slowly looks to Arrow Hawk, who is bewildered. He points to himself. The heroine to his side gasps and attempts to make a move but...she is zapped by the villain. Quick Save’s golden hockey stick staff object is back and he twirls it around, threateningly. Scorpion goes for his guns but he is also zapped by the staff. Star Vision focuses on the fiend and tries to fry him with his laser vision. He has found his protective star-shaped eyeglass piece and has put it back on his head. Quick Save dodges the beams however, zipping around with a super speed and seizes Arrow Hawk, who is stunned at the sudden move.
Quick Save drags Arrow Hawk away, zooming farther from the scene and the group. Zvezda and Scorpion recover and jump to their feet. They are horrified and bewildered.
“VALERI!! ARROW HAWK!! Come on Hockey Avengers, we got to save our archer!” Zvezda screams.
Scorpion and Star Vision nod.
“We walked into a fricking trap!” Scorpion snarls, spitting on the ground. “This guy had a plan and everything!”
