A Second Chance at Love

I was pleasantly surprised when I got home. Raina was laying on the couch, Caelan and Ryan were playing checkers on the floor in front of the tv. I needed to go pick up dinner. I helped Ryan get his sneakers on and ushered him and Caelan to the Tahoe.

“Wow Dad, nice truck” Caelan commented.

“Yep- Mike and I picked it up today. Raina is gonna need something to drive around since her car is banged up. Besides, her car was cramped with all of you anyway” I said driving towards Sylvie’s house.

“So you really must like her huh? She is always over now. She is pretty cool Dad. I like that you are happy.” I smiled at him.

“I want you to know I am really proud of you. You have helped her out a lot, with your brothers and Ryan. I appreciate it, more than I get to let you know. If I don’t make the all-star game this year, you are in charge to pick some kind of family trip for us.”

“Dad, is Rainy our family?” He looked up to me for an answer.

“Yeah bud- she is part of our family now.” I looked at him for a response.

In typical teenage boy fashion he replied “cool” and switched the radio station on me.

Sylvie came out with the boys and said hi to Ryan. The boys asked me all about Raina and how she was feeling.

Sylvie pulled me aside. “You know Dan, I’m glad you are finally happy.“

I knew it took a lot for her to say it. Although I didn't forgive her for the fiasco of the divorce and everything she tried to take from me, I was happy she was getting used to the idea of Raina being around.

I left and took the boys to the restaurant to pick out food. Claude called me and let me know he was home and Raina was sound asleep on the couch. I got his order and put it in. The food was finished pretty quickly and we piled back into the truck to go home.

I set the boys up for dinner in the kitchen and Claude and I took our food out back. “Look what Mike and I did today.” I showed him the ring. He hugged me and said congratulations, told me not to be nervous when I did it.

“I have no idea how to. It’s gotta be creative, but she isn’t one for being the center of attention.” I said to him, pondering all sorts of ideas.

“We leave in two days for a road trip though and I would really like to do it before then “ I said, furrowing my brow.

“Let me think about it. I’ll think of something” he commented as he got up to go inside.

She came out a few minutes later, looking a lot better than she had earlier.

“Hey baby, I missed you all afternoon.” She put her arms around me. She was wearing a tank top and shorts, despite the chill in the air. I ran my hand over her stomach. It was so small still. It was hard to believe she was carrying two babies inside.

“Your food is inside, but I have something to show you first." To say the truck was a success was an understatement. She was so happy she cried and all. Must have been the hormones.

We decided to do a big family dinner and tell the boys tomorrow about our family growing. We watched tv together while the boys got showers. Once they all went to bed, we headed upstairs.

I kissed her softly and pulled her tank top over her head. She shivered and I wrapped my arms around her until she felt warm. I slid down and put gentle kisses all around her belly button. I whispered “I love you” and worked my way down to her thighs.

She let out soft moans as I tasted her. It wasn’t long before she was close. I slid inside of her and held her tight. “I want you to cum with me Raina Lee.”

She nodded her head and whispered “I love you too” as I burst inside of her, sending her body into convulsions as she joined me.

Laying with her in my arms I whispered “Vous marierez-vous avec moi et me ferez
accomplir?”

She smiled at me, having no idea what I was saying. “You need to teach me French dear”, she smiled sheepishly.

“I’m gonna give you your first lesson right now.” I leaned over and pulled the box from the jeans I had discarded on the floor. “Will you marry me and make my life complete?”

A smile told me her answer before she opened her mouth. “There isn’t nothing in the world that could make me happier than us being a family.” She replied kissing me on the nose.

Ok, not sure if I really like the proposal. I just couldnt see his character doing anything outlandish. I think it was more important to do it the way he did. What do u guys think?
